The kitchen is the top to taste typical and seasonal dishes. In addition to the presentation there is also the taste of food and wine.

We stayed in the hotel for a few days and I must say that we relaxed great.
Clean structure and staff always ready for our every need.
We took advantage of the small spa in the structure and also of the solar shower.
The room (superior) was spacious and clean also very large, overlooking the bell tower.
The thing we liked the most was the dinner in their restaurant. It was nothing short of yummy. Bring very generous and exquisite. Definitely, even just to eat, we will be back! We felt pampered. Great all services! Marcella really kind.

You eat from God. The owner is great. It makes me die as it explains everything we eat. It's the first time I've done the review but in fact it's been 4 years that I stop to eat when I ride a motorcycle.

What a fantastic hotel. Staff are very friendly and professional. Ristorante Jim is an outstanding restaurant who not only offer a wide range of Italian dishes as well as general meals and desserts but present them in ways that are visually stunning and highly creative. A fabulous dining experience.

All perfect and tasty. Each dish is unique. From the meat on the stick, to the first Valtellinesi not to mention the venison rib with narrow red wine and thyme.

Great value for money. I have been with all my extended family we were a group of 20 people and for each family have been able to star behind our many requests. Attentive and kind owners, for sure I recommend it to those who do not want the Superluxury.

We were at the hotel Spa and then stopped for dinner. Last year I was a guest for 2 nights. Rarely happen to be greeted with so much courtesy, to find such a nice spa and to eat so well. Recommended to All.

I went back to the hotel Sassella after a few years. With pleasure I was able to enjoy the spa (at the time of my last visit there was the idea to do so) included in the price of the night. Great dinner, so much so that we also stopped for lunch the following day. Breakfast was great The staff are helpful and friendly. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Great experience. I stayed with the package for the Bernina Red train and I found myself very well, both with regard to the price (very convenient for two nights, two dinners and return with the train) ; Both for the place itself: spacious room and bathroom, large and well-equipped wellness centre, plus Tirano is only 15 minutes away, so easy to get to. Which to say also that the staff is very friendly, prepared and welcoming and even the kitchen is great. To try.

I write the same rating that oddly on TripAdvisor is in approval for days… Average Hotel, tidy and clean, and restaurant cared and attentive (albeit a little pricey), plus nice spa.
It would have gone all well enough if, in a situation-unfortunately tremendous for me, an illness to my son with consequent hospitalization in urgency-which forced us to start again in a hurry on the evening of January 1 before dinner (we should have left the next day) No n I had also charged dinner and breakfast not enjoyed, in addition to the last night, this understandable, since we left at 8pm without even interested in the following days or the evening, the health conditions of my son… the Rest my email was their well-known and often used before the stay… After having welded even if not enjoyed, I stopped being the object of attention… advice for the future a course on customer care and simply, since it is a hotel run Family and not a resort, greater humanity and proximity…

The Hotel Sassella was a secret tip of a friend and a surprising experience. Narrow and typical Italian nestled in the small village of Grosio with all the chicanes like "crack-tight" backyards, rusted corrugated roofs in the view from the niche centrically balcony and the constant bustling Italian bustle in the alleys. The rooms were very clean and functional, the food and catering were highly satisfactory. The absolute highlight, however, was Giacomo "Jim" Pini, the owner, who not only greets his guests personally at the reception and immediately invites them to the restaurant after a first order recording, but always and feels everywhere at the same time as a maestro or Orchestra conductor "leads and directs his shop". Very accommodating, fun and refreshing — I've never seen anything like this before! That alone is worth five stars! :-)

Nice room with mountain view, friendly and very efficient staff that makes you feel at home. Spa has good facilities, very new and nice. Fitness has 3 workout devices. Very pleasant experience, recommended.

Difficult to move a criticism to the hotel Sassella and Jim Pines Restaurant. Jim and his staff are very professional yet friendly to the point of making you feel at home. Accommodation and food are high level and the "good memories" that the customer takes home is such that when those who leave with the alive about come back soon.
