The kindness, the professionalism of the staff, but above all the kindness is the commitment that the hotel owners put in to make sure the customers are well and satisfied, congratulations.

Local looked after and friendly staff. Very high room prices for the offer. 50th discounted, a narrow room if you're two. I do not lament for the size, perfect for my needs, but for the price, precisely. With a mattress less than 10cm thick and a pillow on 4, it was not comfortable to sleep. Local appreciated, but not for the price.

Good food, but expensive and minimal portions. 1 slice of Brasato 1 slice of polenta. 16 euros to add the covered.

Excellent hotel at 50 meters from the gondola lift. Good food, comfortable rooms and the owner Andrea is the top. Recommended.

The hotel is in a great location and has a covered parking fee. The rooms are small and of medium comfort. Before we arrived there was a misunderstanding by the hotelier with the reservation and we ended up in overboooking, so we reduced to 1 night stay, then at 11am, after knocking on our door, we were told that we were also Assigned the wrong room and wanted to retrieve some leaves left for the other guests.
I chose to take the parking fee, but in the morning I was asked to remove the car for the arrival of new guests, I could use it for less than 24h, and then find public parking at 10:30 Saturday morning in full ski season is not been easy.
Forget the restaurant 1945, it has high costs and the kitchen is of low quality. We ordered a entrecote of beef at 18 euro, low quality and poorly cooked, and a cutlet from as much as 20 euros both courses without garnish.
I can't recommend the facility to other people.

I give the highest marks because the offer was higher than the promise.
A three star hotel that could easily have four (probably pays the lack of lift). Very central location and, at the same time, literally on the slopes (the covered car park is under the Larch Cableway). Attentive service, care also for children. Warm and clean room, comfortable bed, spacious shower. Great breakfast Dinner cured, with a good choice of dishes also for the boarders, and a beautiful buffet of vegetables.
I will definitely go back.

We were guests of La Meridiana Hotel the first week after the winter holidays. The hotel is pampered in a strategic position for those who love skiing; At first glance tidy, clean.
The double room is presented with single beds and little arranged with the spaces.
The reception of the staff is slow, little attentive and not always cared for. To have, for example, the cleaning service of the room we waited only the last day for forgetfulness, according to the staff, caused by the fatigue of the previous working weeks. We, all in all customers who do not complain, we understand the condition to not argue and forgive the inattentions we have encountered in our stay.
Except for the last night.
Dinner at the Hotel did nothing short of pity. I state that the prices of Madesimo are too high compared to the quality of services and products offered by restaurants, bars and hotels, incidentally said by people living in Milan…
Once seated at the table we order a braised Ganascino to Barolo, to understand the cheek of beef, soft, sometimes you eat with the spoon.
He gets to the table after half an hour of waiting a piece of meat with still the outer fat filaments, I leave to the imagination the inside.

I celebrated here. New Year was absolutely fantastic the service proved to be absolutely classy and the food from high. Restaurant the price very good compared to the quantity and quality of the courses to be repeated absolutely.

The staff was very helpful All comforts, 10 Mt. From the ski lift. Great restaurant and Wellness area… a wonderful holiday.

Structure in classic mountain environment warm and cozy.

Aesthetically very quaint, food quality quite poor. We took some pumpkin dumplings (very hard, they looked like frozen), a cheese patty and porcini (cold) and pizzoccheri (quite strange compared to the classic, it seemed more a mess of pizzoccheri, however pleasant flavor). For the children we took a dish of bresaola, so not cooked, but the quality of the meats there seemed good. Finally, the bread served was good and fluffy, it seemed baked in a wood-burning oven.

We stayed for a week in March 2017. The hotel staff and management were very friendly and welcoming all week, and the dinner was excellent each night. The hotel is in the middle of town, and right by one of the lifts. We thought it was great value, and plan to stay another time.

Friendly staff great menu with typical products of Valchiavenna. Cosy rooms. Spa with the possibility to make massages too.

I have been attending Madesimo for many years, and I have tried almost every existing Hotel. The quality/price ratio of the sundial is, in my opinion, unsurpassed. The Hotel is very nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Location privileged, a few meters from the departure of the main ski lifts of the country through which you can connect with any other track. Parking space reserved for guests, indoor. Romantic restaurant with excellent wine and non-superlative cuisine but acceptable. The rooms are a little small, but furnished with taste and functionality: nothing is lacking. Everything is very clean and cared for, and the costs are very competitive. I mean, I recommend it.

We were fine, there is also a small SPA in the basement of the Hotel.

Small rooms to 2° floor. Indeed. Tiny, never to the extent of household accommodated.
Breakfast to workbooks. Miserissima.
Dinner without imagination, monotonous and often recycled for nothing special.

Too many sacale and no elevator.
