Perfect place for lunch on the terrace.

This is the second time we come to the restaurant. The food and service remain at top level. If the weather is nice, they prepare the terrace and the view is just amazing. They have an interesting wine list, with a good selection of Piedmont's top producers.

Stayed for a weekend break with emphasis on the food at Il Sole Di Ranco, which was outstanding. Great buffet breakfast and outstanding evening meals with some amazing flavours really showing off the ingredients and skill of the chef.

Il Sole di Ranco Is a beautiful restaurant / hotel with a beautiful view of the lake Maggiore. The staff is prepared and competent, and is always kind. Recommended.

Classy, elegant, Michelin-starred chef, great food well presented, fair prices.

Place much-vaunted… but not liked. Beautiful views and the location… but the rest very bad. Michelin Stars? I don't believe… the risotto was raw and tasteless… service too from the Royal House… when you want to exaggerate too much you are wrong… in fact, unlike the reviews of the 2015 2016 is lacking, or almost nothing, of reviews. This says it all. I would recommend to the management of tirarsela less and get out from the c… that stick of wood that prevents a contact different from the one received. Sorry, but needless to say, a nice-looking fantastic, and then you eat pure crap. There will come more.

A truly magnificent dinner blessed by perfect weather conditions: have been here dozens of times but tonight was really special.
I recommend my fellow Singapore citizens (and residents) to come here in order to understand why a (Michelin) star shines much brighter here than near the Equator … =)

An enchanting setting, a warm welcome and a great table. Twelve years have passed since my first visit to the Il Sole di Ranco and the domain of the family Brovelli has lost nothing, on the contrary, these qualities that make the great houses, which combines the respect for tradition and bold innovation. Situated in a charming location, good service, great limpiattamento, the risotto was just OK, the same for fillet of perch. Great appetizers and dessert. High price.

Awesome setting, staff of the highest order, kitchen exceeding expectations, I think if not the best probably the only restaurant in the province where it is worthwhile to spend to have sensory feelings all round. One word: awesome.
