Very clean and well kept old house. Quiet and safe place. Owners very kind. Difficult to reach by car, difficult to be accessed disables and people that have difficulty to walk. If need to work, Wi-Fi not working well.

Beautiful old house, large rooms with everything you could need friendly helpful owners in a lovely quiet village close to lake Maggiore. Felt relaxed and at home immediately. Love to return :)

Bed and breakfast really cozy, well kept garden, rooms clean and independent accommodation and breakfast with homemade cakes which you can take under the gazebo in the garden! The relaxation we did not want.

Le Camelie was the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The property itself is gorgeous, the room was big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and filling — a welcome change from the standard minimalist breakfasts we had been eating until our stay. The owners spoke English and French very well, and provided us with some great advice on what to do in the area. Highly recommended!

We had a very relaxing weekend, delicious breakfast in the garden under the gazebo, all very neat, clean and independent rooms (each room has its own bathroom and your own private space for breakfast).
Definitely for those who want to spend some time relaxing.

We just got back from a relaxing weekend of trekking on the mountains around Varese and stayed one night at B&B "Le Camelie". Me and my husband found this property really beautiful. The owner of the house has been very welcoming giving us many hints to help us discover the area. The lovely village of Brissago is a few km away from the Maggiore Lake, on its eastern shore, so the location is very quiet and peaceful, although I would not recommend it unless you have your or own car or motorbike. The B&B is new, fully restored and very large, it includes 3 rooms plus the hall. We had a delicious breakfast with an homemade apple cake, warm bread with marmelade and honey. It is an ideal spot for a romantic gateway or for a family who is looking for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature. We highly recommend it and would love to go back.
