It's not a 5 star place by any means, but doesn't deserve a 1 star. You pay what you get for: Basic housing, basic customer service, basic ammenities.
One improvement would be to add a simple curtain to the door of the room on the left; anyone walking by to the bathroom can just see basically anything even through the "foggy" windows; there is a disregard for privacy which also applies to the bathroom door.
But location is great, price is great, and it was warm enough during cold days.
