Mio Hostel Hostel

Not as great as I expected but quite good. Rooms are clean but I can’t say same about bathrooms. Tasty food, also Lidl is not far from hostel. Hostel located close to the subway so it’s easy to get to the center or train station.

Normal hostel, standard breakfast and standard dinner. For dinner they always served 2 kind of pasta and a salad. The price are good for the service thy offer and not high compared to the area. 3 min walking from the train station and the metro of Lambrate, super Easy to reach the center with the public transport! One night in a 4 people room with the private bathroom is around 25 euro per person if you booked in advance. But you can find super cheap offer if you think more and more in advance.

Dinner and Breakfast included bad: school cantaens with less variety.
The rooms instead are nice and the bed very comfortable.

The cleaning of the rooms not done or very badly done it remains full of dust. The bedding was clean but the mattress much too old as there is more matien. The shower with pressure and hot well it makes a good point but this is wasted as the shower walls and falling into shreds. And some rooms not private bathroom they have to go to the shared bathroom. The breakfast is very light: jam, ham, sausage and hard boiled egg with toast. Dinner is in the extension of the breakfast just as light so green salad, cucumber salads, entered bread with low-end meat and flat pasta.

Just o want to say that they offer an affordable price. Go and enjoy.

Nice and functional hostel, rooms are kept very well and in concierge we were greeted with friendliness and speed. The bathrooms are perhaps a little too small and definitely missing a key part: the Bidet! The breakfast in the morning is a bit ' small, I would recommend to keep also jars of yogurt, because "if you missed it. "

Modern and relatively new furnishings, functional bathrooms and much appreciated reception open 24/24h. The cleanliness leaves to be desired. Still great value for money.

Cons: — The dinner. Consists solely of pasta dining college, salad and appetizers (there is no dessert or fruit). The pasta in 5 nights were only macaroni and repeated the flavors multiple times. The cutlery and dishes for dinner are plastic. — The breakfast. It is more varied than the dinner but there is more than one type of fruit and the coffee and the juice are of very poor quality. Aware of that coffee is very bad, they put a machine to, in case you want a coffee really, pay for it. — The room. There is No closet, only a bedside table with drawers. There is No safe or mini fridge. Don't make the room. — The environment. This in silver, looks like a hippie commune. There is a communal refrigerator in which everyone gets their stuff and a few communal bathrooms (with shower included) to the side of where you will eat breakfast and dinner. In addition, each one has to pick up his table at the end, tables which, by the way, are made to share them among the guests. — The Wi-Fi. Only works in the community room, not in the rooms. Pros: — Location. Very well connected, both by metro, bus (4 lines and one of them to the Duomo) and tram. — Price. It's pretty cheap. — The area. To eat is very cheap, and with sites pretty good. Have a Lidl very close by in which you will end up buying the dinner if you don't want to go to a restaurant for dinner, because it is impossible to dine more than two days in a row in the hotel.

Breakfast & Dinner included, awesome staff and a great price, I think there is nothing more to say, to convince people to come and try!

I spent 3 days and I didn't see the hand soap in the bathroom at any time, bring you soap, please.
The breakfast was good but the big mistake was that there was no butter/oil, you could only make sandwiches, toast with jam, biscuits.
Very scarce dinner, a type of pasta and salad.
Room with good space, but bad smell and at the box office I found things from previous guests (dirty towel, used knife, empty alcohol bottle) Recommendation: Stay maximum 2 nights, and know that dinner is little (plus it's up to 21:00) and breakfast Passable.

Our stay was not pleasant. The property is not very welcoming as well as the security and the rooms. Not recommended!

We were robbed of a few things from the room, when we went to claim we were not given any solution and neither had claim sheet. Breakfast and dinner always the same and very ugly. One of the lockers was broken, opened without a key. While we were in the room they opened the door without calling and they set out to fix the curtains.

It is a good and cheap Hostel. Although the receptionists were not that king and if you get late to the dinner maybe you don't have food for you. The breakfast is good.

Great hostel for the money! Breakfast and dinner are included in the payment. But the Wi-Fi in the room almost not working. You have to sit in the dining area.

Pretty good. Nice and clean. But the staff isn't that friendly but the inmates are wonderful. Lots of cool people to chill with and they fee good games around. And also ya free food.

As other people had rightfully indicated here they give a good balance btw price and what you get. I got the night, dinner and breakfast for only 16 Euros. My recommendation is to don't get tricked with the idea of free dinner and just stay in a place a bit nicer and with a proper breakfast. Pros: cheap and lockers for each customer. Breakfats and Dinner included. Cons: location is not very centric or chic. My room smelled weird although it was very clean. Food very basic, don't even dear trying the juice or coffee.

Nice clean hotel Overall These are some customers who are lacking in knowing how to live. The staff are nevertheless very efficient and available.

Negative: No storage in the room.
Room on the ground floor with noise nuisance in the evening.
Unstoppable sewer odor in the bathroom.
Very cold room on arrival without heating on (0 °c outside).
Household: Beds made, soil dirty, sanitary dirty (flushing undrawn, splash of toothpaste on the mirror) meals: poor breakfast, always the same meals in plastic plates, malfunction of the microwave, inability to Heat the pasta.

Good hostel! A little bit out of the center of Milan, but comfortable and advisable!

Very good value for money, simple and repetitive dinner but C is included in the price and it helps (buffet) to avoid the two rooms in the DRC that overlook the street and the tram!

Useful for those who have to stay without requiring too much, not a hotel but as hostel is very cozy and well stocked.

A mixture between a hostel and a hotel: furniture bought at Ikea (not an offense), despite the location (a few minutes walk from the station of Milan Lambrate), you do not feel excessively the noises of the train, the room are clean and the food is okay.

This is a perfect place for students. I think is better the Mio hostel tell in Booking that the rooms doesn't have toilet, the dinner and breakfast is every day the same and has a lot off noise.

Good hostel and quite cheap. Dinner and breakfast are included in the price. And the food is delicious and plenty. For the money you pay here for bed and food you won't find the same food in the city. The hostel is not in the city centre but great transport connection. Lambrate railway station is also nearby. Staff is friendly and everything is well organised. Great atmosphere here and many places to occupy yourself. Big kitchen with free tea and coffee all day long and games. You can also rest in the back garden. Wi-Fi is a little bit slow.

Good value for money Recommended. 4 Metro stops from the centre of Milan. Varied breakfast, with biscuits, toast, coffee, juices, … Pasta dinner and Montaditos. Clean and very comfortable rooms. Decent but scarce shared bathrooms. Common area with billiards and foosball welcoming.

Stayed here for the second time, first time last year. The service is very down, the staff is spoiled, especially annoyed the girl full of glasses at the reception. Everything was done with such reluctance, looking like a favor to all of us doing. The check-in was after 2 hours, the room was dirty and unbraily. We had to wait another 20 minutes for the beds to be prepared. Breakfast and dinner included. There is also a lift. I won't stop here anymore.

The worst hostel I've ever been to! The check-in times are way too absurd and staff won't be cooperative at all if you happen to reach early. No locker rooms are available (as they claim to provide luggage storage facility). They would basically keep your luggage in the hallway. The management isn't friendly, way too careless, and would have response (no matter how nonsensical it sounds) for every problem with the hostel. The Wi-Fi is totally useless. They don't even provide soaps in dorm toilets (as if people living in dorms don't care about cleanliness). The breakfast and dinner menu is same everyday, dinners are served in plastic plates, also the food is OK. Beds are cheap with sagging mattress metal bars underneath. The blanket covers weren't clean. The hostel itself is bit filthy. Wouldn't recommend this place at all!

Abundant breakfast if you book with booking they respect the stormy payment overall good structure.

Double room (with private bathroom) very basic but more than acceptable. Great location and good price. Valid for a short stay.

An excellent hostel for the price. However the Wi-Fi provided was slow and flimsy. Breakfast and dinner are fine, although the coffee tastes a little bit funny. Overall, I'll come back!

The hostel is located near the train station and the Metro. There are enough bathrooms and showers in the hostel. Friendly staff. They have an elevator. The décor is quite normal and nothing flashy. In the room they have digital lockers. Breakfast is included, acceptable considering it is free. The Wi-Fi doesn't work very well, but it doesn't get much signal, almost nil. The only thing I did not like is the bed, which is not very comfortable the one that has touched me.

All round good we Hostel. The Breakfast was a little rubbish… But for the price and considering the breakfast and Dinner was "Free" its acceptable.

Nice place for a nice price. Free dinner and breakfast were great. Though the room was a bit noisy due to the street noise.

It has dinner and breakfast, which is both good. The metro is easily accessible. However there are railroads nearby, so it can be a bit loud during the night.

Kind of ok for a budget hotel. Great plus that it had air conditioning in every room. Breakfast and dinner included and amazing. The only downside is that one of us said he saw a bed bug. We told the reception and they took care of it in the following hours.

The hostel in it self wasn't bad, but when we arrived the fan wasn't working, and even though the promised to fix it it is still not working. The room got so hot that it kinda felt like sleeping in a sauna. Otherwise the staff is friendly, and the free breakfast+dinner is nice. Just wish they could have fixed the ac/bought a portable one for us.

A place to call home. Gentle staffs, clean and tidy rooms. Thank you guys and I do miss y'all a lot.

Left for a 3 day stay, small hotel really nice for simple people. Small breakfast appreciable. The rooms are simple and very nice. Not far from small shops and you tram! If we were going back to Milan, coming back to this hotel would be no problem for me.

Comfortable and very rich food.

Included breakfast and dinner is fantastic, room are normal. Not a long going on within the hostel, but if your idea is to sleep there only, it's perfect.

Not bathroom in the room, we were separated in rooms and shared the room with strangers and noone had told us before about that despite being able to complete a simple room.

Very nice and helpful staff. I love the fact that you have a breakfast and a dinner included in the price. Clean bathrooms and showers. One downside is that the Internet is really unreliable and that is a bit frustrating.

Depressing, by far the worst hostel that the acquaintance.

Mold on the wall (bathroom) in 3 floor and every day until midnight was very noisy not recommended!

Friendly staff, clean, very spacious and sometimes a bit cold rooms. The room looks good though minimalist, for my taste too empty. Excellent for the price, recommended for those who want to turn Milan!

Double room. There is no closet/dresser/floor for clothing. No nothing. Just a little table and two chairs. There are no Wifi at all, but sometimes it's not even possible to read the museum's hours of work.
Food. Breakfast and dinner were included in the price. It was generally good to have been a Swedish table, but quality leaves much to be desired.
The breakfast was very good.
Dinner: Boiled potatoes, macaroni, macaroni with tomato sauce and vegetables.
The area is in the best tradition of GTA. The walls are painted, beneath the action Bridge, where the Italian family is walking (well and budgeted) and the Arab car Wash.

+ it is located 5 min to metro station and train station so you can get very easy in the center (15 minutes max). The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy. The guests are helpful — the are different noise sources: the air conditioning for heating the room is very loud and starts and stops every 40 seconds; also you can hear your neighbours. However no noise from outside which is good cause it near the train station. Internet is not working every time I had a day with no hot water. The food is not good, I do not recomend it and the coffee is the worst ever.

There is Wi-Fi throughout the hostel, but in the evening it is unusable.
Great half board, but dinner should be more varied and plentiful. A few seconds not hurt and the dough can also vary in seasoning.
For the rest staff courteous and helpful. Great company.

The worst hostel where I was. Very cold in winter. Uncomfortable at all. Only the Breakfast is good.

Well, cheap night, with the included of breakfast and dinner that tends to be rubbish but at least stuffed the stomach … in front there are Chinese who give "massages" for €40 what more can you ask?
