Review of Hotel Mennini 3*

Great location, depending on your pace it's about 5-10 minutes walk to the Central Station, 7 minutes walk to Corso Buenos Aires. Reception staff were relatively nice, though not all of them speaks fluent English, they will try to help you with your needs. They let us leave our luggages for 4 hours after we check-out so we can go around before heading to the airport. Breakfast is more than satisfactory but could be better if there was omelette and coffee vending machine. Mass…imo, the breakfast guy could at times get his hands pretty full of serving and filling up the Buffet but he is very attentive, try his 'American coffee' (filtered coffee) with milk. Mosquitoes get in through the bathroom door so make sure to close it before the sun sets. Restaurant outside the hotel next to the entrance sells tasty and affordable meals. If there was anything needed to be changed, at least in room 401 where we stayed, I suggest that Wi-Fi should be checked as it is sometimes not existent. We had to log-in and out many times as we were being thrown out of the system. Next, the bathroom sink fixtures. I understand they try to keep the original antique vibes but it doesn't look clean as it has totally lost its shine in comparison with the room's modern shower fixture. It would also be nice if Housekeeping staff would at least smile especially if they don't speak English, not avoiding your looks, waiting for you to smile first before they do. And last but not the least, the duvets in the closet should be made sure to be clean before storing it as the one I got had blood stain in it. Overall, I recommend this hotel. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely stay here again.
