B&B Engadina

Excellent accommodation for those who want to stay in the center of Livigno's nightlife, the bar under the rooms is active until midnight.

We stayed from 11 to 15 August 2023 at this B&B and it must be said that there is little to criticize. First of all, it was difficult to find an alternative, in the same period, that offered a double room at an affordable price like the one offered by Engadina. The structure has parking reserved for customers; downstairs there is a bar and, going up the stairs, you reach the rooms. We really liked the room: the right size, clean and well-kept. The balcony (we stayed in room 10) overlooks the car park but also the mountains, a panorama that undoubtedly makes the day start well.
As for breakfast, although the buffet is small, you can have a substantial (and very good) breakfast. However, we need to clarify the times: we were told verbally that breakfast was available from 7.30 to 10, on the sheet in the room (if I'm not mistaken) it said from 7.30 to 9.30, while on the website from 7 to 10.
The staff is kind and helpful.
Opposite there is also the Biergarten, a fenced green space, with tables and benches/chairs, animated by reggae music (mainly), where from 5.30pm they do tapas for 1 euro to accompany aperitifs and it is also possible to have lunch there.
If I really wanted to find a flaw, it's the noise: the bar stays open until 11/11.30pm, but it's nothing unbearable; you can sleep peacefully, also because you can only hear the voices of the bar customers, and they also leave some earplugs in the room available.

Everything excellent! We stayed in the Nonna apartment, beautiful! Well-kept, very clean, fantastic location. Everything at the top! We hope to return… because both the apartments and the B&B are super popular. The bar, also owned by them, with delicious breakfasts, cakes and croissants for all tastes, aperitifs etc etc… in short, you absolutely must come!

I had the opportunity to book at this hotel with high expectations, due to its exceptional location and reasonable prices. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our reservation at the last minute due to the tragic loss of a loved one. Despite the extremely difficult circumstance and the fact that the August holiday week seemed to have no shortage of guests, the staff strictly enforced their cancellation policy, charging the full amount of the stay.
We were deeply disappointed by the fact that, in such a painful moment, the human dimension of the situation was not considered. We understand that policies are important, but we expected a little more flexibility and compassion, especially when it seemed like the hotel had no trouble replacing the reservation.
It is always important to balance company policies with a sensitivity to customers' personal circumstances. We hope that in the future the hotel can consider greater flexibility in exceptional situations, thus demonstrating greater attention to the human dimension.
Update:
After understanding the reasons of the structure, which absolutely has the full right to fulfill the company policy, we tried to request at least the reimbursement of the additional services to the room that was initially booked (for example the third bed which we asked to add only 2 days ago), but this refund was also refused.

An exceptional culinary experience in a zero kilometer B&B in Livigno.
I recently had the pleasure of staying in a lovely B&B in Livigno and I have to say that the experience was simply fantastic. In addition to the welcoming atmosphere and the comfort of the rooms, one of the aspects that struck me most was the quality of the food offered, all zero kilometer.
From the very beginning, I noticed that the food served at breakfast was truly exceptional. Every morning a rich buffet awaited me with a vast selection of fresh and genuine products. The ingredients were clearly of high quality and I particularly appreciated that many of them came directly from local farms. The cheeses, homemade jams and fresh bread were simply delicious.
Although it was a B&B, the structure also offered the possibility of having dinner. And I must say that I was completely satisfied with the dinners served. Each evening, the menu featured a selection of traditional dishes prepared with local and seasonal ingredients. The chef was clearly an expert in highlighting the authentic flavors of the region and I really appreciated his creativity in presenting tasty and well-presented dishes. Each bite was an explosion of unique flavors and aromas.
Furthermore, I appreciated the fact that the B&B was committed to reducing its environmental impact. Using locally sourced ingredients, the food served was not only fresh and tasty, but also sustainable.
