B&B The King

I had booked a skiing holiday for January and February and was genuinely looking forward to the stay. Yesterday, however, my professional contract was terminated, meaning I have been made redundant and can no longer — nor should I be reasonably expected to — attend holidays of this cost.
In good faith, I contacted B&B King to explain the situation and politely asked whether they would consider authorising a free cancellation, especially as I was providing almost three months’ notice.
Their public response stated that they “cannot” offer a free cancellation because the reservation was made through Booking. Com.
This is simply a lie. They wrote this themselves, yet the statement is demonstrably false. As shown in the screenshot I provided, they have not offered any cancellation option whatsoever. Moreover, other hotels — booked through the exact same platform — authorised free cancellations immediately under similar circumstances.
Instead, their only suggestion was: “No, but you could give the ticket to somebody else. ”
How is that even remotely helpful to someone who has just lost their job? It is an absurd and frankly insulting response.
My booking reference was 6492183329, and the entire experience has been utterly abhorrent. Even with ample notice and a genuine hardship, they showed zero empathy, zero professionalism, and zero willingness to assist.
If this is how they respond to unexpected personal circumstances, I strongly advise avoiding this establishment.

It's a lovley place having a espresso, beer and limoncello. Good service, friendly and courtteous.

Beautiful bar with friendly and friendly staff, I add the b&b upstairs with attention to detail! I highly recommend it.
