I dont recommend this place. Advice: Never trust these people. Just checked in here in my room. I came with a friend and I wanted to book one more single room for her. All the booking apps had all the room categories available and we asked at the reception and the superviser told us that they only have one room available that is extra 700euros per night. Actually they didn’t wanted to give us the room that we wanted and they treated us very very unpolite. The room on all the apps was 270euros but they didnt wanted to confirm the booking and they canceled it because they were asking a lot more money for the same room (740euros). This felt really unreal for me and I am travelling a lot and it never happened to me before. I will never trust Hilton anymore.

This was our first time in Italy. Hilton Lake Como is beautiful with an awesome rooftop pool looking over the Lake. So sad the rooftop restaurant was under renovations but the food in the Tafetta Bar was great. Have the cheese cake for dessert. Yum! The staff are so friendly especially in the bar. Thank you Luca R, Luca M. David, Martin, Paolo and the young lady serving in the bar as well as Andres at the desk. Your friendly smiles and great attitudes made us feel so welcome. We hope we can return someday soon. The hotel also helped us arrange airport pickup when we arrived. So we didn’t have to worry about searching for one. Great location and it’s a nice walk to town along the water. absolutely fantastico! grazie!

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, great service, good food, amazing decor. The rooftop pool is probably the best hotel pool we have seen. Walking distance to the train station. I am so glad we did not bring a car and contribute to Como‘s traffic problem. Very good base to visit the lakeside communities by boat or bus.

Truly top notch experience at this gorgeous hotel. It was the perfect touch of modern design surrounded by boundless Italian historic beauty. The service was excellent & made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Would recommend a million times over! Also the Parmigiana Ravioli on the rooftop may be the best meal I have had in all of Italy to this day! Thank you Hilton Lake Como staff!

When in Como in summer the Hilton is the place to go. As you can't go into the water in Como and would have to take a boat/ferry to get to a "beach" their rooftop pool and terrace is your only chance to cope with the heat and take in the scenery at the same time. Extremely attentive and friendly staff, good atmosphere, delicious breakfast, gym and spa. It's worth the extra bucks.

Unhelpful receptionist — Anna and team is slow, slow and slow. As for the restaurant reception lady in black at the roof top, she is the worst of all.

Absolutely incredible hotel! Spotlessly clean, great staff on reception. But it was a real shame about the service in the rooftop bar though, they missed off drinks and also managed to get every drink wrong that we ordered on 3 different occasions!

The property has a wonderful view of Lake Como.
Unfortunately, however, the service of the restaurant at the "rooftop" is all to be reviewed, because it is well below the hotel category.

Quality service and fabulous breakfast as expected at all hilton hotels, this branch however had exceeded our expectations in all levels, so we'll done Hilton Como keep up the great work Mr & Mrs Ratcliffe Derby, England.

The service at Terrazza 241 was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed our nye dinner and they made it as comfortable as possible for me and my husband with our 1 year old baby boy. So after not celebrating nye last year it felt so good to be looked after while we enjoyed ourselves.

I’m a frequent traveler and tend to stay at Hilton’s whenever possible. This one in particular is really nice with above the standard quality of service. Highly recommended.

Awesome Hotel! Best Hilton I've stayed in so far.

Just got back from the Hilton Lake Como! The hotel is in a good location, 15 minute walk to the centre of Como. The hotel is also pet friendly and offers beds and food/water bowls for your pets at an additional cost of 50 euro. It also has a great roof terrace with pool and Jacuzzi, to chill out after a long day touring. Now to my problems with the hotel! parking and breakfast extra ' 100 Euro ' when paying 680 Euro for a standard twin room for a 2 night stay? seriously. Also I found the reception staff very pushy when checking in, trying to get us to leave a deposit on our credit card for services not yet used. My room key card did not work also on the last night and I had to go to reception to get it fixed only to be asked at 23.00 at night would I like to settle my bill, my answer! no, I shall do it in the morning when I check out as the room is already paid for and I'm not going to leave without paying for lunch 72 euros. P. S they had my credit card details so don't see a problem.

Absolutely loved staying here, beautiful hotel, great scenic rooftop pool, great bar, great food. Will be back soon.

This hilton was amazing. We absolutely loved every minute of it. Everyone was so friendly and property was amazing. Very modern decor. Large rooms, breakfast was excellent, and absolutely loved the pool. After a long trip in Europe it was so nice to end it at this hotel. Great location too.

HiltonHonors Diamond member so got a nice upgrade to a full suite overlooking Lake Como. Had dinner at both Satin and rooftop restaurants and the experience was truly exceptional. Breakfast buffet at Satin is simply stunning. Knowledgeable and extremely friendly staff worthy of a leading hotel of the world.

Beautiful hotel, great rooms. Infinity pool is a highlight. The location is a 20 minute pleasant walk to the town centre, along the lake front. The terrace lounge is great as well. Friendly service. Check in and check out at the reception takes ages however.

Amazing hotel and location. Superb costumer service and beautiful surroundings. The pool and the views of the terrace are to die for! Food is good but a bit pricy and portions are very small.

The Hilton Lake Como is an interesting hotel, deserving of your stay. Firstly the negatives: it's a 25m walk to the town shops and restaurants (no idea why some say 10-15m, as I am a fast walker) ; the building has a sterile feel (given the architecture of the town, I'm surprised) and there is aircon in the room (it's there and hums but is utterly useless). Now the positives: the room was great (ignoring the aircon), wonderful bathroom with large shower. The bed is very comfortable and would have been a great night's sleep if the room was cooler. The roof terrace offers great views over the lake and the restaurant, which is not budget friendly, serves a great, but limited, menu with high quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful. Finally, the breakfast is very good. I have stayed at Hilton resorts which offer sumptuous buffets, but here the choice has quality baked in. Everything is well prepared and nutritional in some way. I would definitely stay here again, even though the town has little to offer. I know I keep banging on about the air conditioning, but in this sweltering heatwave, the room was 24C at night, which prevented sleep and lost it 5 stars.

Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are modern, and comfy. The hotel could do with more sunbeds a for guests as we could never find any free ones in the 3 days we stayed — which was very frustrating.

Their website offers rooms with "floor to ceiling windows and full view of the lake", at a higher rate, which we booked. They gave us a small room with a small high window that is clearly to allow some sunlight into the room not to look through Amazingly, they said they consider this a lake view room. It took 45 minutes of arguing to get us a room with the floor to ceiling window and partial view of the mountains surrounding the lake. The ONLY place where you can see the lake is from the terrace on the top 6th floor of the hotel. The view is beautiful from there. The staff is friendly.

From the moment you arrive you are greeted in best possible way. The staff are absolutley amazing. Very helpful, a lot different in a good way from many other areas of Italy, where staff have been far from great. From the ground floor (reception) to the top floor Bar and Pool, the staff is very professional. The view from level 6 Bar and Pool is amazing. A very cosy and relaxing atmosphere.
The only thing not to get a 10/10 is the curtain in the shower. All decor is wonderful and ultra modern which is very nice to see and use.
So we would give it a solid 9.9 out of 10 thus far.

A month ago on Google- The location and views from the terrace are truly stunning of course. The service is outstanding as one would expect from an establishment of this standing. Unfortunately it was not possible to have breakfast outside on the terrace, appertaining because of the risk of attracting birds. Why this would just be a problem in the morning was not obvious to me. Also they didn’t seem fully booked and ended up offering rooms at a discount during the period of our stay. Whilst I would not expect to be offered a discount on the full rate retroactively, an upgrade would have been a nice gesture. Overall good, but in the context of the price not an outstanding proposition.

Beautifully decorated in a modern style using local materials, the Hilton Lake Como is relaxing from the moment you arrive. The indoor lighting scheme using indirect lighting and the serene color scheme sets the mood. The lighting, materials, and layout of the Satin restaurant in particular is an inspiration, even to my teenager. Views from the rooftop of the lake and surroundings are superb. The food in the restaurants are creative and taste wonderful, and my family and I looked forward to eating each meal. The breakfast in particular is one of the best I've had at a Hilton anywhere in the world. And the Staff… honestly, my son and I have come to adore several of the staff members, and look forward to seeing them again. They are friendly, efficient, and professional, and they remembered us when we returned as if we were old friends. This is one of my favorite Hotels in the world and I highly recommend you give it a try.
