An incredible place to begin our Italian holiday. The most hospitable hosts and the greatest views of Lake Como (and beyond). If you want to visit Brunate, Como, or anywhere on the lake you MUST stay here. The close proximity to the finicular is a bonus if you want to visit Como which is about 4000 feet below Brunate. Car travel to Brunate can be done but it is not for the inexperienced driver. The finicular is cheap and convenient. Once you are there the villa is definitely worth the trip. Breakfast… Mmmmmm.
