➜ Hotel, very well located at the level of the river Wharf to move around the Lake. This hotel is a bed and breakfast that manages both its "restaurant" and its "hotel". I do not recommend it at all, except the fact that is clean… There is no double glazing in the room, the living outside and inside the hotel is very noisy. You hear everything going on in the kitchen, as if you were there, with the noise (crockery, staff etc. ), and the smells and those up to more than 1h in the morning. The sound insulation is non-existent. The air conditioning is poorly located in the room, it blows you right in the face. As for the housekeeping of the room you have to insist on room service. A little lazy, he puts the towels in front of the door. Cheap but we are very far from the service of Lake Como. Do not take for cash comments. You can find better for the same price, if you searched well.
Very basic B&B in the centre of Ballagio. Don't expect all of the usual amenities or hotel level service. Fine for a short stay but for a longer trip I recommend going across the lake to Menaggio.
