I found an offer on Booking for a Deluxe Room at this hotel in Toscolano Maderno. I have been for 4 days and 3 nights and I have to say that I consider myself very satisfied. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. The room (with attached bathroom) clean and very spacious. The balcony was not really lakefront but still you could see a glimpse and the building is nestled in a beautiful green park. What about the kitchen? It's the hotel's flagship, especially when it comes to dinner: all delicious. The view of the lake while dining or breakfast is phenomenal. Well, maybe breakfast might be a little more varied, but I'm not complaining because there were several things anyway. The kindness of the room staff is commendable, note of praise to the maitre who always has a smile on his lips and inquires if everything is going well or if you need anything else.
As for the lake, there is a small private stone beach of the hotel where you can bathe in peace. The lake is really clean. I advise you not to forget the shoes to enter the lake. The sunbeds are rented with 5 euros a day and you can put them wherever you want in the park (not on the beach because it is not very large) but park and beach are practically attached.
The location of the hotel allows you to arrive in a short time on foot (10/12 min) in the village of Maderno and by car you quickly reach the ancient village of Salò and other neighboring countries. The road you get to the hotel is a bit busy but just get the right times to not find traffic on both the way and the way.
In summary, I will definitely be back.
