Great place, could have been 5 stars if a clothes closet was available. However don't let this detract you from the hotel's various charms.

Our room (Chicago) was a spacious, clean, and welcoming suite, overlooking the streets of Crema and facing a church (note: bells begin around 7am). The decor blends modern comfort with traditional Italian charm, highlighted by wooden beams and doors opening to a picturesque view.
Do take care with rugs on wooden floors, as they can slip easily.
Breakfast, delivered to the room, was excellent—a generous spread of fresh fruit, bread, croissants, jams, juices, tea, and coffee.
B&B San Clemente is perfectly located in the heart of Crema, just steps from shops, restaurants, and historic landmarks. Fans of Call Me By Your Name will enjoy nearby filming locations, and the train station is only a 15-minute walk.
Be aware: Access can be tricky if you arrive unannounced. Confirm your arrival time as instructed in your booking, as we still waited outside about 15 minutes despite doing so. Unlike hotels, you cannot simply walk in. Once checked in, the host was warm and welcoming. We were also given a different check-out time than listed on our Hotels. Com confirmation.
Overall, despite a couple of small points to improve, our stay was delightful. San Clemente is an excellent base for exploring Crema and a highly recommended choice.

A beautiful place located in the heart of Crema. Lovely place — spacious and clean. Continental breakfast delivered. Lovely host.
Just note … No front door as such — we were dropped off at a huge brown gate and didn’t know how to get access …you need to ring a buzzer to get access (photo attached). The instructions are in Italian (which we didn’t understand) so we had to go to the (fabulous) pizza restaurant across from the gate to understand how to get access.
The restaurant right across the road is just fabulous.
If you are a call me by your name fan this is a great place to stay and explore.

B&B San Clemente is a wonderful place to stay when visiting northern Italy. The Chicago suite is charming and inviting. You feel at home there. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is lovely. The B&B is within walking distance of the Duomo di Crema, shops, and restaurants. Our host Arlene was amazing and so helpful. She gave great suggestions of places to visit, the good eateries in the area, and how to get around. Crema is a beautiful town that is within driving distance of Milan, Bergamo, Venice, Bologna, Verona, Lake Como, and many other towns in Northern Italy. If you're visiting Italy and want to experience the heart and soul of Italy, B&B San Clemente is a good base — great host, great accommodations, great locations. What's not to like.

The hospitality and accommodations were excellent. Great location in the center of town. Very spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. Very nice breakfast served on the terrace to start the day. Beautiful building and rooms. Lots of character and authentic. It gave us a charming feel of Crema, and Italy. Arlene is a great host, checking in with us daily, great recommendations on restaurants and things to do, and tending to our needs.
Crema is quite central so a great place to stay and venture out daily to wineries, lake towns, and many other great sites of Italy.

My wife and I visited Crema and other spots in Italy on a much delayed 25th anniversary trip. We enjoyed Crema the most, in large part due to our great accommodations. B&B San Clemente exceeded our expectations. The room was beautiful, overlooking an Italian Baroque church across the street, adding to the charm. The room was tastefully decorated with incredible art on the walls and our bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed walking to the piazza and having Aperitivo. The location is in the historic part of town with lots to see and do.
Arlene was a fantastic host, and very responsive to our questions. We enjoyed our breakfast on the roof top terrace. We returned for one night at the end of our trip (flying back out of Milan) and stayed in a second room that was equally as nice. We are already talking about a repeat visit when we can spend more time.

On business in the area and recommended this B&B. Communication was great, a lovely room with adjacent sitting area and dining room. I was able to park in a nearby street and breakfast was very good. The accommodation is an ideal location and very comfortable.

My friend and I stayed in Crema for one night. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful! They went out of their way to get us bikes, tours, and restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend staying here! The AC was the best I’ve seen in Italy and the Wi-Fi was fast. It was a cozy, high quality room.

My wife and I spent our wedding night in this B&B. The location is wonderful, in the historical city center of Crema. The suites are really clean, comfortable, and all furnished and decorated with taste. The structure looks completely renewed and we had a really amazing breakfast with a view served on the roof top terrace. The host is really attentive and cares about the details. Being our wedding night, we found a wonderful bottle of Ferrari Trento Brut waiting for us in the suite! Such a great treat!
Definitely recommended for couples or families willing to enjoy Crema! Only one suggestion: be careful when chosing where to park your car. We did not know that the market was happening the day after and our car was removed from Via Giuseppe Verdi — the fun fact of our wedding night.

A beautiful boutique B&B in the centre of the old town, with impeccable service. I will be going back for sure.

My husband and I, and our three adult children, spent a night here which we really enjoyed. The location is perfect, right on the main street of Crema. Rooms were big and beautifully furnished, clean and with very comfy beds and aircon. Breakfast and coffee was delicious and was served on the gorgeous roof top terrace. Lovely host, Anamika, was very kind and attentive and took her time talking with us. My daughter is a "Call Me By Your Name" fan, and Anamika was very helpful giving us good advice of where to go and see important spots from the movie.

San Clemente is a beautiful B&B in an historic building in the heart of charming old town Crema. Arlene is wonderful host and her staff are so nice. The rooms are pristine and beautifully decorated. The beds and furniture are all very comfortable. The daily breakfasts are delicious and give you the perfect start to each day. The B&B is near restaurants, markets, and shops and the beautiful city gates and Duomo. I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend staying at San Clemente. We did not want to leave.
