B&B De I Bravi in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is I Bravi located and what is nearby?

The hotel is located in a very quiet and decent area of Milan, in a villa surrounded by greenery. Within walking distance, there are a bakery, a grocery store, and excellent restaurants, including Restaurant Manzoni, which is recommended for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The city center can be reached via public transport: take bus No. 83 for three stops, after which the metro (M3 line) is accessible. Guests note that the transport system works well and is affordable.

How far is it to the airport?

The hotel is a convenient choice for those who need to be near Bergamo Airport; the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes if traveling by car.

How are check-in and staff services organized at I Bravi?

Check-in is conducted via a password provided to the guest in advance. The hotel owner, Matteo, is described as exceptionally kind, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help in any situation. The staff in general are polite and responsive, striving to satisfy all guest needs.

Where can I have breakfast and what are the dining options?

Feedback regarding breakfast is mixed. Some guests enjoyed having breakfast on the veranda overlooking the garden. However, others note that breakfast is provided for an additional fee at a nearby bar. The possibility of dining at the neighboring Restaurant Manzoni is also mentioned.

What are the room amenities at I Bravi?

The rooms are described as large, bright, very clean, and stylishly furnished, with some resembling interiors from design magazines. The beds and mattresses are very comfortable, and effective double-glazed windows are installed, which completely block out street noise. Regarding drawbacks, guests mention the absence of refrigerators in some rooms and instances where a room had no air conditioning (only a fan), which was insufficient during 40-degree heat. A broken coffee cup handle was also noted in one of the rooms.

What is the soundproofing like in the hotel?

Guest opinions are divided. One review emphasizes that the double-glazed windows work excellently and street noise is not audible even during peak hours. At the same time, another guest reported that noises from the adjacent room were clearly audible.

How clean are the rooms and how does the housekeeping work?

The majority of guests rate the cleanliness as impeccable, noting that the rooms were always tidy and fragrant. Many praised the daily housekeeping service, which made their stay more pleasant. However, one guest expressed dissatisfaction, reporting a lack of cleaning and towel replacement on the eve of their departure.

Additionally, one visitor noted that the bathroom was not inside the room but was separate, which was not indicated on the website.

Had an absolutely lovely stay here for 3 nights. Matteo was a lovely host and although you're quite far out from the centre of Milan, transport is v. Good (and cheap), and then you have some lovely food and drink options more locally for relaxed evenings away from the tourist traps! Room was big, bright, clean and well equipped. Bed was super comfy, and the double glazing was super effective — you hardly hear any street noise even at rush hour. Hope to be back in the future!
