We discovered B&B Melissa by chance in 2015, and since then we visit here each year, since 6 years, room and renovation are perfect, the breakfast that is offered is unbelievable, everything is home made, Jams, yoghurt, pickiled olives and artishocs, the view from the terrace is breathtaking, parking space is available for free, internet is working perfectly.

If you love surprises (the unpleasant kind) and enjoy playing hide-and-seek with hotel prices, this is the perfect place for you!
We found this hotel on Booking. Com, called to clarify some details, and the owner kindly informed us that paying in cash would be better. Not wanting to risk it (and not having cash), we decided to book through Booking. Com instead. After the call, we returned to the website—only to find that the listing had magically disappeared! Fifteen minutes later, it reappeared, but now at a higher price. Ah, the wonders of modern technology!
In the end, we agreed to pay the owner directly. Arriving late at night, we asked for an invoice, to which they replied, "No invoice! If you don’t like it, go find another place! " (at 10:30 PM—fantastic customer service! ).
The rooms? Not bad. The view? Lovely. The bathrooms? Oh, you mean the ones outside the rooms? Yes, because who doesn't enjoy a little hallway adventure in the middle of the night?
And the best part? The owner let themselves into our room in the morning with their own key! Nothing like an unannounced wake-up call to really make you feel at home (or in a horror movie).
Overall, unless you enjoy high-stakes booking games, surprise room visits, and communal bathroom experiences, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
Would I recommend this place? Only to my enemy.
