It's a cozy place. Near to politecnico. My single economic room was a modest size but it was more than enough — with a desk, with a bathroom — everything clean and cozy. The best thing is the extremely gentle staff. I was alone girl and they helped me with the baggage. Of course the location is perfect — near the center and just on the lake.

We had a wonderful stay at the Don Abbondio Hotel for three nights. The hotel was very clean and located in a pleasant, quiet area. There is also an excellent restaurant right next to the hotel, which was very convenient. Josephine was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home throughout our stay. The breakfast was also very good and had everything we needed. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others.
