An unforgettable stay at Albergo Diffuso Ca’ Spiga! The staff and owner were incredibly helpful, always going above and beyond to make us feel at home. They shared stories and tips about Lake Como that gave our trip a unique touch. The amenities and comfort were outstanding — from the fresh cappuccino, orange juice, and eggs made to order, to the generous breakfast spread (just like in the photos). Our room had a lovely view with a private balcony, and we loved the jacuzzi and the charming secret alleyway leading to a private beach. Truly a hidden gem — highly recommend!

Had the most lovely stay here! The hosts make you feel so comfortable and the design of this home is so quaint and beautiful. I miss it everyday!

A True Hidden Gem Above Lake Como.
We stayed for two nights at this charming guesthouse high above Lake Como in a small, peaceful village – and it was simply unforgettable.
From the very beginning, communication was smooth and welcoming. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The decor of the place was full of character – warm, rustic, and truly authentic – making us feel like we had arrived in the heart of Italy.
The absolute highlight was breakfast on the terrace: lovingly prepared and served with a breathtaking panoramic view over the lake. It was the perfect start to each day and something we’ll remember for a long time.

Amazing bed and breakfast for your Lake Como stay. The owners were so kind and great communicators via What’s App. The house was so charming and I loved the history behind it. It was comfortable and beautifully restored while also maintaining many historical details. The daily breakfast was so fresh and delicious — I already miss it. They had many fresh fruits, yogurts, meats, cheeses, and pastries. The location was very quiet and felt local. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at Alberto Diffuso Ca 'Spiga, from the very beginning I was emailing with Alessandro, they were very quick to respond and so lovely even over email! We booked most of the rooms for our family (12 people). Once we got to the accommodation we also met Cinzia and they helped bring all our bags over and let us check in early as soon as the rooms were ready! All the rooms were so cute and we loved that everyone had a beautiful view. She showed our guests how to get to our wedding venue. We had 2 vision impaired guests and she took the time to help them get up and down the stairs as well as drive them down to the wedding venue! Our family raved about the breakfast every morning. When it was time to leave they also helped with the luggage again and when the bus came 45 minutes late they let all the guests (as well as 3 others that didn’t stay there) back in and gave them some food/cakes while they waited. They went above and beyond for our family and we appreciated it so much, we would 100% recommend Alberto Diffuso Ca 'Spiga to everyone!

We stayed here for 2 nights for our daughter's wedding, there was 12 of us and I have to say, it was fantastic. The rooms were confortable, clean with great views. The staff were so accomadating, the breakfast was amazing. Would definately stay here again. Highly recommend.

Stayed here twice now, and class it as our italian home!! The breakfast is lovely with the most insane view, we have stayed in two different rooms, first year was Salvia, quite small but so cosy and a beautiful terrace, second year we stayed in Genziana, similar vibe but the room was huge in comparison, absolutely adore staying here! Everyone who works there including the own Alessandro have always been so welcoming, also definitely visit the connecting restaurant Da Luciano, the food and views are next level!! Can’t wait to visit again, ps we did have a car which made things so much easier but there are accessible buses from the hotel!

Hotel review |What a stay! I don’t understand how this is only rated 2 stars. The communication was brilliant, before our arrival we received a message with all the information we needed to find the hotel. There were pictures to help navigate the new area which was extremely helpful. The host met us once we had parked and walked us to the hotel. She helped to check us in and gave us a tour of the hotel which included a wine cellar where you can help yourself to the wine (varying prices), a jacuzzi which you can book on the day as well as a museum of the grandmothers possessions. The grounds and view were stunning and we were able to enjoy them each morning as we sat on the terrace with our breakfast. The breakfast is also superb, local fresh pastries, bread, meats and cheese as well as the offering of eggs in different styles. The hosts remember everything and made us feel so at home as they laid our favourite table outside and came out with cappuccinos and asked if we were ready for our scrambled eggs. The hosts were also so informative with what to do and see during our time. They let us know about local markets as well as a handy tip for parking (any white bays are free but blue bays you need to pay for). I honestly couldn’t rate this place highly enough, we have told all of our friends and family about it as a must place to stay whilst you’re in Laglio. Como is about 20 minutes drive from the hotel.

Although I did not stay here, I had the pleasure of interacting with Alessandro. I had planned for my family to stay at the hotel and he went above and beyond to answer my questions. Through his generosity, he was able to find an accommodation that would best fit my family. I am very grateful for his honesty and kindness.
If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely make it a point to stay here!

Be very weary. The reviews are great, but the woman running it is very sexist. She would only talk to the men in our group and made us uncomfortable. They also broke into our friends room when they were not there, and then admitted to it. I would steer clear.

This place is a dream would highly recommend!. The entire team at Ca Spiga are incredible and you feel like you’re staying in a family home. The breakfast was the highlight along with the incredible facilities including balcony, spa, and wine cellar! Only downside is the location is quiet and hard to get in and out of without a car but if you know that going into it, just prepare!

Ca' Spiga is a unique B&B which is very authentic Italy. The house was the owners grandmothers and has been preserved almost as she had it.
If done wrong this place would be a strange place to stay, but alas Alessandro makes the stay an absolute treat and would 100% return to this accommodation! I would say this venue is best suited at Solo / Couples travelling. We chose this location as it was close to a venue we was attending for a wedding.
The breakfast and the balcony to eat breakfast on is outstanding and you get a truely superb view of Lake Como.
I wish to take the time to personally thank Alessandro and the team on making our trip special, they advised us on a little places we could go that we would of never gone to without their knowledge.
I have one piece of feedback that could be addressed (but not worth knocking the rating down for) the first room we stayed in (located below the kitchen) needs a new mattress as the springs have broken on one side. I fell out of bed in the middle of the night! The second room we stayed in the matress was far too firm almost polar opposite to the other room! Invest in some high quality matress's and this is a superb unique experience!
Do not hesitate to stay here! 5* Service, 5* View, 5* Friendliness, 5* Star Breakfast, 3* Facilities.

This was our 7th stay at Ca Spiga since we discovered it 9 years ago.
It is a charming family B&B overlooking the lake. The rooms are cosy and have stunning balcony views. We enjoy the breakfast each morning outside, a range of cheese, meats, eggs, pastries and the famous apple tart.
There is a wine cellar and fridge full of drinks you can purchase. And a jacuzzi located downstairs but this time we didn’t have time to visit.
Alessandro and the team are great hosts and the real reason we return each time.

My wife and I stayed here 2 nights and I’m afraid that nothing in our trip is going to top this.
The breakfast (which was included) was amazing, the staff was incredibly welcoming (they even helped us plan our day trips in Como), and everything was so well thought.
If you are on the fence about staying here, let me help you: you should!

Love, love, love this place! We'll be coming back ASAP. Old and modern at the same time. Alessandro, Andrea, and Oscar are accommodating and responsive. The location is on the way to everything. Breakfast is amazing! Local treats and everything you could want. Very satisfied and pleased.

— The whole house is old but restored incredibly well. Good use of space and amenities (even a jaccuzi! )
— The view is incredible, you have breakfast looking over the lake.
— You can leave your bags for a while after checking out.

— Access is a bit tough. Buses are really unreliable in Como and getting to the bus stops is a bit dangerous. The roads have no walkway so you're at arm length with speeding cars.
— Beds are charming but make a lot of noise.

My husband and I absolutely loved honeymooning in this boutique hotel in a quaint town in lake Como. The whole place is so very cute and special. Full of character and history. It's got a little museum, a private jacuzzi, garden, terrace, winery, kitchen for guests to store stuff. Our room was small and simple, but very clean, very well maintained, equipped with AC and overviewing the lake. We loved every bit of our stay. We travel a lot and stay in many places. This hotel will certainly be a cherished memory.
As other people have mentioned, breakfast is spectacular. In a way it's standard types of products. They've got yogurts, cheese, fruits, bread, some cakes, Nutella, honey, orange juice. But its the quality of all these products that takes the gold and elevates it. The cheeses were all local, not mass produced. Honey was local. The yoghurts carefully selected, fruits and bread really really fresh, coffee simply divine. And the cakes were just heavenly. They offer freshly squeezed juice and freshly made eggs on demand.
And must not forget to mention the staff of the hotel. They are so warm, kind and attentive, particularly Oscar who was going above and beyond.
