Villa d'Este

Excellence. This hotel and the stay here was my best hotel experience ever. The general vibe and feeling of the hotel is superior. The room was big and welcoming. The view from the room was not the best — but nevertheless it was clean, true to its style and had an exquisite bathroom and bed.
The dinner at the Grill restaurant was amazing and the wine list inspired a truly unforgettable night.
The piano bar with joyful music and a mingle between all the guests was simply amazing — and added to that «old money»-vibe in a beautiful manner.
The surroundings are also astonishing and provides the very best atmosphere and enjoyment you can find.
All of these amenities and beautiful surrounding would, however, not be as meaningful if it weren’t for the excellent staff and their attention to detail and ability to adapt to the guests. I find the ability to adapt to the guests as the most important thing and at that this was world class.
We were a group of four friends which had an incredible and extremely successful experience with Villa d’Este.
Keep doing what you are doing — I will be back.

This was our first time staying at the hotel and it was fantastic. It is a stunning location and the service was incredible. Though the food was part of a large event, it was delicious and imaginative. Traveling to other towns by boat added to the charm of this legendary hotel. We cannot wait to return!

This is the most beautiful hotel and grounds that I have ever seen anywhere. The staff is very courteous and helpful. This goes from management to servers, to cleaning staff. Everyone working there. We ate at the Grill and the Veranda restaurants on property. Both very good experiences. My wife and I have stayed at the Villa d’Este many years over the past 14 years. Love this hotel. It’s as close to perfection as one can get.

It’s been a dream of mine to see Lake Como in late spring and stay specifically at Villa D’Este. The Villa exceeded my lofty expectations. The grounds are simply breathtaking. The service, incredible. The food was spectacular. The housekeeping turnaround time was so fast and they checked our rooms multiple times per day. No detail left unseen. Some people may find the rooms outdated, but I think it blends very well into the history of this magnificent palace. Honestly, I think if you don’t stay here (or at least a comparable property), you’re missing a big part of the Lake Como experience. It’d be like going to see the Lake without doing a boat tour. I loved my stay there. I love Villa D’Este and look forward to returning again with my children next time.

Ther’s 5 stars and then there’s 5 stars: this is 5 STARS! The grounds are beautiful and the arrival impressive. Despite early arrival, they found me a room. The room was beautiful: huge room, super mattress and pillows, walk-in closet and beautiful bathroom. The service was impeccable with an amazing eye on details! The food was fantastic and breakfast lavish. It is like taking a trip back in time, but done well, not tacky. Can’t wait to be back and bring the family (and dog! )

A beautiful property with very attentive staff. From arrival to check-out, the staffs were welcoming and made sure we were taken care of at every step. The rooms are well kept and maintained. The breakfast was amazing with great selection and beautiful view of Lake Como.

The most amazing hotel I have ever been to. The pool was the coolest. Our room I felt like a princess. The staff was amazing. The food was amazing. We had the best time doing a 2 hour hike on property. It was too notch and never wanted to leave. I keep looking at pictures wishing I was still there.

We really enjoyed our stay at your hotel. I liked the policy for families with children.
I really liked the girl at the reception who checked us in. She was very nice, friendly, told us all the possible options for staying at the hotel, does her job very well, it was very valuable to us. And I would really like to mention her work, but unfortunately I don’t know her name.
