It’s the favourite place to stay in Bormio for my family. Perfect location, cosy well decorated rooms, tasty breakfast and lovely people — its owners. I also like the way they decorated the lounge — fine personal touch with photos, books and artefacts.
The only thing that can and should be improved is the speed of the feedback when you make booking via mail. It took me days and even weeks to get an answer from the secretary. Besides, I am not quite happy to be addressed as “dear sir”. It’s the negligence to details that made that correspondence the experience that I disliked.
A worn-out hotel with small rooms and old interior. However, it is centrally located relative to the old town. There is private parking just across from the hotel. Some rooms have a view of the neighboring building, which is not very attractive. There is a lack of air conditioning in the rooms. The breakfast is very limited, and the service related to it is marked by some grumpy waitstaff. The service at the reception was fine.

The entire stay was a success. The reception staff were always very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was good and the lady even brought our coffee every day just the same way we ordered it from the first day; that’s what I call attention to detail.
