The Cute restaurant with outdoor tables in the heart of Bergamo Alta. I took the typical dish "casoncelli" homemade ravioli for my taste the pastry a bit too thick but good and well cooked.

All very good and in perfect tradition of Bergamo… Casoncelli the top of the top… consigliatissimi!

First of all I have to say that the review only concerns the restaurant, NOT the rooms, where I did not stay. The Restaurant is central, in a nice area of Bergamo. The atmosphere is informal and pleasant, with wooden tables and an outdoor space. We took a starter of grilled vegetables with cheese. The vegetables were excellent, the cheese good but not extraordinary, price 8 euros.
As first, typical rustic risotto with wine and radicchio and tagliatelle with mushrooms, both good and abundant portions, price 13 euros. To add also the covered, 2 euros apiece. We drank of the prosecco, which you can take to the glass or even in 1/4 and 1/2 liter.

Dinner at the Old Cutting, excellent dishes. There is no doubt that for our next steps from Bergamo the Old Cutter will be a staple.

We had dinner at the old chopping board in Bergamo. We were looking for a place to eat came from Rome. As they decided whether to enter to eat the kitchen lady who remains in front of the entrance window gave us a beautiful smile while turning the polenta… we couldn't resist! And we did well! All very good! I can't forget the goodness of the risotto with The Muscat Radicchio and Scramble! And in November, when I get back, I already know where to eat! Thank you for the vs. Hospitality!

A lovely restaurant and the food to repeat.

We've known him for a long time and never let us down. It always eats well, in the winter time it turns out to be a little small, but with the hot season and the outdoor tables it gets very nice. The staff are always nice and in addition to the menu with Bergamo specialties You can indulge with the proposed taglireri. Good choice of wines and delicious sweets. It's always better to book.

Un ottimo ristorante italiano in centro di Bergamo. La carne servita è molto buona, anche buonissimi tiramisù, panna cotta e il vino della casa. Parlano anche inglese, servizio cortese.

Were at dinner Saturday evening in Scanzorosciate. Food is always excellent, the dishes are delicious. From meats to cheeses and pasta dishes! The only flaw that we see is not improved and the service in the dining room, to work the mobile phone you use! Will definitely be back.

We arrived without reservations, available and welcoming, we were asked if it was just the table in front of the counter… we adjusted and it was worth the choice at the great, good food quality, fast service! Local friendly… recommended!

In the Piazzetta Manzù, in the heart of the historic village of the Duchy of Piazza Pontida. Beautiful atmosphere. Possibility to eat inside or outside, in the small square surrounded by historic houses with railings. Simple but great dishes. Business lunch. Good choice of wines. Informal locale.

Nice place, well hidden. Food not high quality, decent. Advice to people who are content with a medium quality food and who do not want to spend too much.

We went here for lunch two times during our short stay. Loved the ambiance and food.

I called to the premises looking for another b&b, which had been prebooked but were failing to respond to the telephone, to ask assistance. The two members of staff could not have been more helpful. They tried various numbers to contact the other property owner and allowed me to wait his arrival. He failed to turn up and they arranged a room at the property for me. I arrived too late to avail of the food but certainly liked the feel of the restaurant and the attitude of the staff. The room offered was very roomy and clean. Thank you.

Every time is a pleasure to eat some Bergamo typical food. I suggest the meat on the pole.

Tried several times during the week for business lunches. Wide variety of dishes, always top quality. Portions not abundant, but more than enough. For 10 € the cost with house wine and coffee difficult to ask for more.
Definitely worth a visit for a dinner or a lunch on weekends.

Great traditional cusine in a an elegant, quiet court (but still close to the center of the town). With about 10€ you'll be delighted by a complete meal, but I'd still ask for the desserts of the day if I were in your shoes… ;)

Excellent food, especially all varieties of polenta, first of all with porcini. Frequented by local people, better to book in advance.

I chose local cold cuts platter which I consider card. The beef stew with red currant with turban of asparagus was very good and steamed vegetables crunchy to perfection. Dessert impressed me favorably. A double chocolate fudge cake all over with cream sauce. Valid. Price a bit too high compared to the local type and quality. Anyway to try out.

We found a piece of plastic inside the CAKE (cake with mascarpone and chocolate), okay it may happen … but doing this to the waitress that he said seemed odd, was held the piece of plastic and she went out without making any mention of it.
At the end of the meal, since there were people waiting, they asked us to leave.
Upon payment … "maybe distracted" by many people, they "forgot" to release a small white sheet of paper …
The prices are very high in terms of what they serve (the food is fairly good), but it's nothing special.
Let's say that my low rating is given especially by poor service and lack of professionalism at checkout.

Very small restaurant, hided by the crowded shops in Via XX Settembre, shut in an alley at number 13, it deserves a visit if you are looking for something rustic, but precious. Relaxed ambience, traditional Bergamo foods well mixed with the typical italian dishes. The prices are around 30€ each person with a choice of 2 courses. People and service are very kind.

Comfortable with rustic appearance, taste and traditional cuisine, beautifully presented, local produce. Bread of various types. A/meal, 2primi, second, polenta, sweet and passito wine, craft beer, glass of red, 38 € courtesy and care.

Quaint, cosy, rustic. Excellent cutting boards suggested but every bit as good as proposed in the paper. I recommend the tasting menu from € 22, is complete and fills. Excellent staff, with merit for the waiter brasi/romano, really nice and kind.
