The hotel is located across the street from the ambulance station in Rapallo, and the entire night I was kept awake by sirens. The street in front of the hotel is also busy at night, and the noise was overwhelming. I coudn't sleep at all. In the morning when I left, I had to wait about half an hour after the opening time (9 am), because the receptionist was late, the hotel was locked and I almost missed my train to Genoa.
The receptionist was very welcoming and the accomodation was good value for the location. The room was very clean, plenty of towels. The location was convenient for exploring the coastline. The receptionist recomended a great fish restaurant in the harbour. No breakfast available but a short walk to the right of the hotel was a local cafe.

Unfortunately my experience with the hotel was very bad… In a situation of uncertainty about whether or not to face the trip they advise me to cancel the reservation on booking (defined as non-refundable) to start the practice, I still agree for a voucher of almost the entire rate, which magically turns into a 10% discount voucher once I try to reorganize the stay … (never officially received by the way).
Stupid me who did not ask for the agreement to be sent by email.
