We spent three days at Easter in the Metropolis of Genoa. We found l'hotel, located in a strategic location in a beautiful square in the heart of the city, very hospitable, clean and equipped with services and details, in my opinion, to the level of a few four-star hotel. On all the large availability of typical local products at breakfast, the refreshments free of charge returning in the afternoon in the hotel, and the remarkable convenience of the mattress. Finally, I want to emphasize… are the great availability of the always-smiling staff, all of Arianna

It's a great hotel in the heart of Genoa. We had a nice room overlooking the rooftops of the old town furnished in a simple way but with all the amenities of the case. Very powerful Wi-Fi and bed and very comfortable pillows. Parking nearby. Booking directly we had breakfast included in the price. I recommend not to miss it because it is really good with high quality products. So many books in the lobby, a nice idea. Professional and friendly employees. No doubt I recommend it.

The hotel is super! The food is fine. We were with my family. My daughter was a year and two months old. When my doch at breakfast wove everything that was not pinned, the Italians were shocked.

Nice hotel with central location and decent amenities. The breakfast was outstanding and only cost €13. So the air conditioning was a little week the staff provided us with a fan that worked great. Overall I would say it's pretty decent value in an interesting city for tourists.

Highly recommend this hotel! The staff is absolutely wonderful and helped to make our honeymoon very special. The breakfast is incredible — worth way more than the small 5 euro fee it costs. Location is very central and in a lovely area.

+ friendly staff (checkin/information/service) + location + breakfast was ok (not the best I ever had, but enjoyed it) + free Wi-Fi + nice bed and the room was clean + public parking is very close (5 min by foot) — room and floor are not the newest (but still ok) — TV was to high (we didn't care…) = we really enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel to everybody.

Unfortunately I had an unpleasant experience at the BWHotel Metropolis of Genoa. I booked the room after seeing on the internet photos of the hotel and rooms. Once I arrived at the hotel I found that the room did not match the photos on the site (it was just the type of room that I usually, for personal taste, avoided). It was also dirty, the air conditioning was not working, and all night from the square on which it looked there was a continuous rumor of people, to conclude at 530 in the morning the garbage truck that woke us up (I think it was right under the room however loud we heard the noise). A terrible night. Since the evening we had arrived exhausted by a long journey I had not said anything, we just wanted to sleep. The next morning I reported all my complaints to the staff. I did not specify that from check-in the hotel staff was helpful and very professional, even in the handling of my complaints they all turned out to be very kind. They changed my room and applied a 5 percent discount to the bill. I realize that the staff more than this could not do, but considering the nightmarish that I spent maybe I should have had more attention. I also find it unacceptable that there is this difference between the published photos and the real rooms (actually the photos on the site refer to the 5 new rooms that are in the hotel). Little seriousness … Top hotel staff. I feel sorry for them facing these situations.

We only stayed one night but it was enough to appreciate its cleanliness and courtesy. For the first time we stayed in a hotel that under the bed was clean. The sparkling bath, very kind staff and in the breakfast room also markers and sheets for our children. I recommend it to TT.

Parental room no privacy for parents this is the only downside, if not perfect.

This hotel is extremely well placed for someone who wants to visit the ancient city, the palaces of Genoa, shopping… The rooms are medium sized but comfortable and well soundproofed.

The hotel is in a very central location. The main street passing through the cars traces the boundary to the Ztl area and the pedestrian streets. In the center and then also a few minutes walk from the main tourist attractions such as the famous Aquarium of Genoa. Hotel of small spaces but cared for. Common areas very pleasant in style and décor. The Internet works well. For this stay I have not benefited from all the services of the hotel. From past experiences I can confirm the good quality of the rooms and the breakfast. I am sure that since the last time the service standards have not changed. Thanks and good job.

Strategic location for Centro, Aquarium Porto Antico and 2 km walk from Piazza Principe station. It's a decent three star, a bit noisy because of the busy streets of people even at night, not brand new inside, but pretty neat. Good breakfast.

Clean and tidy room. Fairly supplied minibar with good prices for standards. Very comfortable bed and quiet night. The breakfast (not always included in the price) deserves 10 stars, for quality and variety of the products and for the excellent service. There is no free parking (we are still in Genoa). Didn't like the shower. Was leaking on the floor no matter how you set it up. Our of 4 lights in the room 2 were broken. Rubbish bin was broken on the first look still no one replaced it. You just get the feeling that no one cares about the rooms in this hotel.

Small room but very comfortable, very clean bathroom and shower. Small fridge in the room and also a safe box are benefits as well. Located in a good place in Genova city just 15 mins walk from train station.

We love Genoa. The historic center is an amazing place. This hotel feels like a secret hideaway, tucked into the alleyways of the old city.
Amazing to spend a day in the humidity and noise of the city and then slip unseen into this hotel for an hour or two of rest before returning to old Genoa.

Exactly what others have said. Rooms are nice, clean, but with ac that isn't the best. A fan can be provided by the staff, though! Speaking of the staff, extremely professional and helpful. Irene made sure that we got the information we needed for our stay, to include restaurant suggestions. Hotel is dog friendly. Breakfast, if not included, is worth paying for. Location is the best. Stay here!

The BW chain is certainly among the best that I usually attend. Always well positioned and with good quality facilities. If the price in some places was more book more often!

Great location. The room was very small and the bathroom was very clean. Excellent service and courteous staff. Lack of parking could do a convection with paid ones that would advise you that they are too expensive. 3 days and 2 nights recommended to visit the city.

The hotel is great by location and shops nearby but for little kids it's a big trouble if the shower is open into the room wasn't pleasant at all other than that it's nice but no free breakfast and Wi-Fi isn't reliable.

The hotel is in a central location, a short walk from the Harbour, Aquarium and major tourist attractions. Staff very helpful and smiling! Breakfast superb! Internet very good although sometimes disconnects for a short time.

Right in the city centre. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Is comfortable and elegant guest rooms are nicely furnished and have a read. Free Internet and breakfast plentiful and of excellent quality. We had room at the top floor overlooking the characteristic alleys of the old town. We had a great time. Thank you to all the staff personable and professional.

It is very central, stylish and very clean. Our room had the most comfortable bed ever experienced in a hotel. The staff are helpful and polite. We loved it when we return to Genoa again here also because the breakfast is perfect. Could be a 4 star hotel.

Hotel in the Center, with spacious, elegant rooms. Ours had a nice view of the alleys of the old town. The Wi-Fi works very well and it's free. Parking is close enough and then turns around on foot. Amazing breakfast. Books and magazines everywhere. Friendly and professional. Ultimately a 3 star hotel that looks like a 4. Highly recommended!

We went through in this last weekend by purchasing a package including tickets to the exhibition of Munch in the Ducal Palace, very close to the hotel. Totally positive judgement, is a very well run hotel with nice rooms spotless and quiet (ours overlooked the rooftops of the old town) and great breakfast. There is a particular attention for details: free Wi-Fi, Kettle with tea and coffee in the room, books scattered everywhere and such kindness. The garage is close enough.

Was in this hotel in late July early August. Wi-Fi at reception daily update passwords. Liked. In the basement there is a small Italian cafe. Did not like the Breakfast at the hotel. Even if I came to Italy not for Breakfast.

Very good hotel in a central location, ideal if you have children or if you have a few days to visit the town. From Italian, I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, rich, genuine and groomed. It is really a great business card! The small Finnish-Italian family, however, still remember today your soft focaccia and video games. Reception staff were attentive and friendly. A beautiful 3-star hotel in the Centre of Genoa. We took advantage of a promotion that included free Aquarium tickets and we are very satisfied. The room was very well furnished with all the comforts of the case, including free Wi-Fi, safe and coffee tea maker. Bed very comfortable and clean. Breakfast varied and quality products with salami and cheese focaccia. Delicious jams and espresso worthy of the name! Staff friendly and helpful. In short, a hotel to recommend. Good.
