The kitchen is on Michelin level but the hotel is old and the dining room very average. Competent staff in particular a very capable sommelier. Fairly reasonable prices. Recommended in the end for a getaway of 2 A3 jrs.

We had booked two nights but left on the second day (just because we didn't find a new hotel on the first day).
The complex looks very unkempt and seems not to have been renovated since the 70s. In the bathroom, the phone can hung out of the wall, mold on the ceiling and in the bedroom were also water damage to the ceiling. The main theme, though, was the pool. Expedia advertised a wonderful pool, which was also the reason we booked the hotel. When we arrived, the pool had not yet been put into operation (mid-May at about 25 degrees for several days). So far not the big problem, since it was only mid-May. When we approached the gentlemen at the reception, he immediately became unkind and said that in winter you can't expect the pool to be in operation and that the pools are not yet open in Italy. At night it also has 8 degrees outside. (In fact, there were just under 20). This unfriendliness prompted us to leave, especially since the hotel is completely secluded and you can't avoid it.
The breakfast was fine otherwise we couldn't win the hotel anything positive. On early departure, we weren't even asked for the reasons or what it was like. So I can only advise against this hotel and from my point of view it should be checked how many of the alleged 4 stars it still deserves.

Have been there for a very special event such as a year of engagement, very cute with a few tables and very quiet so I would say perfect for a candlelight dinner… Great tasting menu from the nine course dinner and I'd say the right price… bring very good and the attention (of course prepared by a michelin-starred chef) the Waitress very helpful, very knowledgeable and friendly.

Very nice hotel, kept well located in a particularly quiet area and not far from the sea, not reachable on foot. Staff available, we stayed for one night, breakfast very plentiful and rich. The hotel has a restaurant with a Michelin star, we did not try it, as we preferred to dine in nearby Sarzana. The car is indispensable, as the area is not served by public services, if not the taxi. Which to reach the hotel, from the railway station of Sarzana asks €23 for about 5 km, €30 on public holidays.

Ample parking. The place was what it used to be. Menu with great choice meat fish. Fine dishes and well cared for. Staff. Deserved the star. Prices considering drinking.

If you want to enjoy your holiday dont come to this hotel. Location is 2km from the beach near a busy road walking not possible, you need the car all the time. The hotel itself is a joke breakfast Just ham and cheese. Dont expect eggs or something you wont find it. Coffee only 1 per person! If you want more you have to pay. Every hotel in this world offers it's customers more then one cup of Coffee without extra paying… it's crazy. Hotel rooms are dirty and full of stains see pictures. 4 stars is a joke for this hotel. Beware!

Experience below expectations. Too bad.

Wifi can be iffy. But staff, food and decor are excellent. You will need a car or look at facing an average €50 return taxi bill for 4 people. Food is amazing and is a very VERY quiet hotel. Would highlu recommend.

A hotel that preserves the architecture and the original furniture designed by Vico Magistretti, a jump in the design made in Italy of the years ' 70.
The rooms have been renovated to ensure a reception according to current standards. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are nice and spacious, the pool is lovely and they have a nice restaurant. My favorite thing is how it feels homey and what lovely service is there. However there's only one or two people that speak English so it would be nice if more staff is trained in more than one language. It's walking distance from the beach which was a plus for me. That whole town is definitely a must visit place!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. There's a free parking place, and free fast Wi-Fi connection.

All in all, nice hotel! Rooms are clean and the breakfast is very good.

Very nice Hotel, looks a littlebit old but has a good price performance ratio. They serve free and fast Wi-Fi (everywhere) and a free parking in front of the Hotel. Check out the pool, and ask for a spritz (a nice drink with Apérol and sparkling wine) to enjoy. I would definitely go there again.

Nice, clean, comfortable, excellent hospitality, friendliness, professionalism concealed behind an apparently simple ways that allows guests to feel uncomfortable ever.
Highly recommended to regenerate:)
