We will never forget our stay at Silenzio e Buio (Silence and Darkness) in Liguria. The owners are an extremely nice and friendly elderly couple. I am an Italian native speaker, so I had no linguistic barriers whatsoever and could enjoy very interesting and deep conversations every evening with the owners, but even if you do not speak the language you will always find them smiling, outgoing and caring. They will surely be happy to recommend you the best places to visit.
We felt really comfortable in this little, isolated house in the heart of the Ligurian mountains. Everything here is so clean, warm, traditional, intimate. The food is delicious: traditional home-made Ligurian recipes with healthy and high quality ingredients. I highly recommed you to try at least one dinner at Silenzio e Buio, that Giorgio and Fernanda will cook specifically for you in their kitchen, and, of course, to have your breakfasts here.
