Albergo La Pace in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is Albergo La Pace located and what is the surrounding atmosphere?

The hotel is situated on a hill in a picturesque setting surrounded by nature, located near the historic center of the town of Sengi. Guests describe the location as a true oasis of calm, silence, and peace, far from city noise and smog. To reach the building itself, one must drive up a small uphill road.

Does the hotel have parking?

Yes, the hotel has a large parking area, with guests noting the availability of two spacious parking zones.

How does the front desk operate and how polite is the staff?

Reviews regarding the staff are mixed. Many guests praise the employees for their professionalism, friendliness, elegant manners, and hospitality, specifically highlighting the assistance provided by the owners and a staff member named Angela. However, there are serious complaints regarding the reception: some visitors encountered rudeness, incompetence, and a lack of flexibility when resolving issues. Specifically, instances of incorrect responses when booking errors occurred were mentioned.

What breakfasts are offered at Albergo La Pace?

The hotel offers very extensive and high-quality breakfasts, which some guests compare to the standard of four-star hotels. The menu includes both savory dishes and sweet pastries, with fresh hot bread always served at 7 AM. Gluten-free options are also available upon request.

What type of cuisine is served in the hotel restaurant?

The restaurant offers high-quality cuisine using traditional and natural products. Guests highly rate the taste of the dishes, their variety, and the generous portions, noting that prices remain quite affordable. The menu features fish dishes and pasta. However, one guest noted that some dishes were too salty or contained excessive oil.

Is the Wi-Fi stable in the room?

One review mentions an issue with the internet connection: a guest stated that it was impossible to connect to the network within the room.

How comfortable are the rooms at Albergo La Pace and do they match the photos?

Opinions on the rooms vary significantly. Many describe them as clean, modern, spacious, and bright, comparing the Superior category to four-star hotels. However, there has been an extremely negative experience regarding accommodation in the annex (dependance), where a guest found a room resembling a dormitory, with a smell of bleach and old furniture. There are also complaints about uncomfortable pillows, described as resembling "ironing boards," and the presence of plastic sheets, which cause discomfort and perspiration.

What is the soundproofing like in the hotel and is there any outside noise?

Generally, the hotel is characterized as a very quiet place for a full night's sleep. However, in some rooms (particularly in the annex), poor pipe soundproofing was reported: when water is drained in neighboring rooms, loud noises can be heard in the plumbing system for several minutes.

Is housekeeping provided and what is the condition of the plumbing?

Most guests note a high level of cleanliness in the rooms and common areas. Nevertheless, an instance of a damaged toilet seat was reported in the separate building.

How does the ventilation and air conditioning system work in the rooms?

Some rooms, especially in the annex, may lack air conditioning. There are also mentions of issues with old window frames, which allowed drafts to enter the room.

Are there additional amenities at the hotel, such as a gym?

Yes, a gym is available for guests at the hotel.

Is the hotel suitable for vacations with children and pets?

The hotel is suitable for family vacations: it is mentioned that even small children enjoyed the dishes from the restaurant. Additionally, a very kind and affectionate dog named Flock lives at the hotel, who is very popular with children.
