The Caesar Roma

Sent to this hotel by a group tour. It was okay. Depends on which room you got, some are very spacious, some are not. It comes with very limited amenities. You got soap in a sachet, no kettle, no hair dryer.
Location is so far to the city center. But there is a pharmacy and a gelateria/bakery next door.
Staff was not too helpful, in the lobby or during breakfast. They informed us the wrong lift to take. So we have to go down again and take the lift at the other end. Lift were so so slow.
But all in all, it’s a decent and clean hotel. But I think location is only convenient when you drive or have your own transport, or else better stay somewhere nearer to the city center.

I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Hotel Caesar Roma.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and always quick to respond to any requests, which made my stay even more pleasant.
I would especially like to mention Emiliano, who was working during breakfast hours. Despite the busy morning rush, he greeted guests warmly and made sure everyone could enjoy their breakfast in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. His attentive service truly stood out and deserves recognition.
I would be delighted to stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Rome.

Do not stay here.
I was sent to this hotel for two nights due to the Air Canada strike, and the experience was extremely disappointing.
Guests affected by the strike were treated very differently from regular guests. We were directed to a separate dining room with no menu, no drink options, and only a basic buffet. The food was the same at every meal and of poor quality. Staff presence was minimal, and even getting water required searching for someone. While Air Canada provided the bare minimum, the hotel made no effort to ease the situation or support stranded guests.
Customer service was equally poor. Aside from the kind check-in staff, the front desk and restaurant host staff were always rude. The worst issue came when our “Do Not Disturb” sign was IGNORED: we returned to find it missing from our door, our belongings moved, and our privacy violated. Thankfully nothing was stolen, but other reviews suggest this has happened before, with no accountability from the hotel.
Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

I had a wonderful stay. The location was well connected with the bus. The staff (Jeane Piere) in particular was incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making me feel truly welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a beautiful view from the window. Breakfast offered was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay.

This hotel was sub par. There is no water, coffee or tea in the rooms. There is also no ice. The fridge didn’t work. This is the only hotel I’ve ever visited that didn’t have an iron. The shower was very small and the door did not close. There was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom. The breakfast was poor. There wasn’t enough seats or cutlery so we had to wait or just give up on sitting down or getting anything to eat. The cleaning staff entered the room even though a do not enter sign was left on the door. Be prepared to also wait for the elevators. The small bar area is nice. The bar was the only place to get cold water besides the restaurant. The food from the restaurant was decent. There was no delivery to the location as it is not close to the center of Rome. This hotel has the potential to be very nice, hopefully they take notes from these reviews.

Nice clean hotel. The staff here are incredible. Very friendly and happy to help. I'm with a group and had to change our plans last minute requiring breakfast boxes due to an earlier departure. They were happy to get this sorted for us very promptly!

Overnight stay plus Breakfast. Breakfast and service were so good I had to write this immediate (we are staying one more day). Nice selection of breads, jams, fruits and meats. Despite the language barrier the staff were great. With courteous cheerful demeanour they managed to help us out.

We were welcomed so well by Angelica and Marta. They have such great personalities but as importantly great knowledge to assist us in Rome. Thank you. The room was very clean and spacious. Just a quick bus ride into the city on the 881 bus right out front. Great wine and food within the building. Very good for traveler’s who want great local food and wines.

Have visited a number of times now, and each time have very much enjoyed ourselves. The theme is very creative and encompasses all aspects, from the bar counter, the walls, cocktails.
The cocktails are always tasty and creative and it's clear the staff care about getting them right. Especially thanks to Tony for your signature cocktail’s it was amazing.

Their staff steals from the rooms. They do not respect privacy and enter rooms ignoring the Do not disturb sign.
We already knew that this hotel (chosen by our tour agency, not me) was known for stealing so we locked everything. Stil, we found the small pocket zippers open, they tried to find anything to take.
Don’t bother to leave the Do not disrupt sign. They will enter the room anyways.
The rooms are way too hot. The solution given by the reception is to turn off the heating and wait because the air conditioning doesn't work. But the heat never goes away.
For the sake of your belongings, find another hotel.

▶️Great Location: There is a bus stop right next to it which will lead you to the city centre/Vatican city in 30 minutes or station for train to airport. Good bus service on that line.
▶️ I would expect large bottle of water for two person in the room instead of buying from vending machine of the hotel.

Overall: Good 👍🏻. Stayed there for two nights. If you’re looking for a hotel which is value for money with a good transportation system to the city or airport. This will be your choice.

Everything was very nice!
Nice rooms, spacious and especially clean.
Fast check in and very nice staff, especially Jean pierre with his smile gave me many tips about Rome.
I thank his professionalism and courtesy. Only flaw the restaurant, rude staff and poor quality food. I will return for sure.

I have a wonderful experience during my stay as my room was given a double bed. But due to a twin bed is needed due to some personal reason. So I approached the reception late in the evening and the hotel is running full house. But the receptions Denise & Claudia were so helpful. They try their very best to help to get in one more extra bed for the room hence resolving all the problem for us. Not to forget Antonio who do his best to push in the extra bed in a very short time allowing all to have a good rest.

The place is ok. We had no problems with the staff. I only have two things to complain, which will make me give a bad review. We had only 1 bottle of water for 2 people for 3 nights. I work at a hotel and we offer at least two complimentary waters per day. The second thing is that we put the "Do not disturbe" plate, to turndown service, but they entered in the room nonetheless.
All in all is a good place. The bus stop to the City Centre is right in front of it.

This is honestly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The AC didn't work, the rooms were tiny and bare, and the bus ride to the city was 40 minutes. Every night I'd lay in my rock hard bed with my one flat pillow sweating like crazy because once again the air conditioning didn't work, and I'd think about how much I regretted ever stepping foot in this godforsaken hotel in the heart of the Roman ghetto. After an agonizing 5 nights spent here I recommend that anyone considering staying at The Caesar Roma should just burn their money and sleep on the streets instead because they will genuinely have a better experience that way.
P. S. My shower head flew off while I was in the shower and the ceiling got soaked.

A miserable female Italian reptionist would give a single sachet of coffee. At breakfast there was hardly any food left and it wasn't replenished in time. The cafe next door though is excellent 👌

This was a nice hotel, staff was confused and rude when we asked for an extra pillow, ok breakfast, most coffee machines were broken but it was ok!
