Olympic Charme

We chose this hotel for its close proximity to the Stadio Olimpico and because of its excellent reviews. We were impressed from the moment we stepped in. We were given a lovely welcome by the owner, who also told us a lot about the local area and gave us great references for restaurants etc. Cleanliness was second to none. Couldn't fault a thing. Hopefully be back next year.

Positive: Lovely, clean and modern place and Luisa was so helpful and a joy to deal with, from arranging a check-in time, airport transfers, travel around Rome and information on city attractions she was wonderful. The B&B is in a nice neighbourhood and very easy to get to from the city centre, just a 15min tram ride. The room was ready for me when arrived and I could not fault the room, it was clean, modern, secure and had everything in that I needed, Luisa gave instructions on how to use the coffee and water machine in the kitchen which was located on the same floor as my room and again had everything I needed. There’s a cafe/bar located on the ground floor next door to the B&B where you can get breakfast or have a beer later on, there’s many other shops, bars and restaurants in the surrounding area so I didn’t have a problem finding a place. I would definitely stay here again and I’d highly recommend it… thank you Luisa x.

Clean rooms with good décor. Relational difficulties with the organizational structure.

Clean rooms, central location. We found ourselves very ill with the owner, unavailable and unkind towards us. We stayed with friends and we all experienced a state of general discomfort. Frenzied in my opinion in managing the reception. Courtesy is worth much more than all the other features that qualify a location for a traveler.

Positive: The apartment has been recently renovated, with modern furniture throughout and a nice communal kitchen area where you can have free coffee, tap water, and use a small fridge. Luisa is extremely helpful and gives you a lot of advice on how to explore the area. Negative: The only drawback is that you can’t leave your luggage after the checkout, so keep that in mind to better organise your plans. Also, being a shared accommodation you end up having a bit less of privacy and more noise from the other rooms and from the communal area of the kitchen.

Positive: Location, friendly check-in and gave very good tips for eating out and where things are. Negative: Only minor points. Room was a little dusty for the first two days which the manager explained by me walking on the floor with my shoes. The bathroom and anything critical was spotless. This minor flaw was resolved to my satisfaction in a professional and friendly manner. Keep up the good work, I wanted to give you a 9.5 or more!.
