Originally the building held luxury apartments above store fronts with park in front. Off the main tourist area. The old elevator runs so quiet, I would love to see it with a coat of Gold paint on the mesh to brighten it up. Owners have upgraded the electrical to conserve power when removing the card key. The bathroom was all new. Plugins were universal Europe, England and US connections but 220 V! Extra pillows & Safe in closet. We smiled, they smiled save 18% hidden online booking costs to family by calling direct, 3% CC costs vs cash. Street side for view, inside for quiet. We booked 2 days and they helped us find alternative 3rd day when we wanted to stay longer. Very nice. I hope area is eventually refurbished to period but prices will rise. Great Chinese Restaurant a few doors down.
