I can't say enough good things about this hotel.
The location is perfect. Mere seconds away from the Trevi Fountain but despite the location, it is very peaceful and quiet. The hotel is spotless and comfortable and the staff very friendly.
I will go out of my way to stay here again if visiting Rome.
This was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel/hostel, because it’s hard to classify this hotel as a hotel although Fabio very kind as we checked in. Our stay just absolutely turned miserable, to the point where we stayed only one night, although we had already paid four nights. The trip started out trying because of a canceled flight and lost but found luggage, we did stay only one night and moved out because we couldn’t tolerate any more. The shower did not have a back at all so the water just splashed all over the bathroom. We did have to ask for, and we did receive extra towels to just put on the floor to gather the water. Electricity went out in the middle of the night so the A/C was off and there were no outlets to be able to put anything in like a phone charger other than the one in the bathroom. The front desk only operates from 8 AM until 8 PM so there was no one to call The final straw was when they could not clean our room because the 3 o’clock time had passed and their housekeeping crew was only available until three, a fact we did not find out until after it happened. Although we had paid for the three nights, actually four, we left and found a real hotel that had all the accommodations that we needed/ had a right to expect. I think it’s important for TripAdvisor to at least warn their patrons of this potential catastrophe.

My wife and I just got back from an amazing stay at the Casa Guttman in Rome.
Let’s start with location Perfect walking distance to all everything from Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Parthenon and the Colosseum.
10 minutes from the External city and close to everything you need.
The hotel itself is just perfect for a stay in Rome and has everything you need to be comfortable walking around in the heat exploring Rome!
Then we have the amazing staff Princess and Dianne who are just so welcoming and helpful! Sincerely massive thank you to you both for making the stay even better!
