Gorgeous hotel in a lovely quiet street just minutes from the Colosseum. Fabulous roof terrace bar/dining and great breakfasts (we had room service). Air-conditioning is superb (much needed in July when we visited! ) and the room was very clean and well equipped. Staff very helpful and friendly. We hope to return!

Its the little things! This place is exactly what you want in a 4 star hotel! If you want a great place to stay in the heart of Rome this is it.

Spent a wonderful 3 nights at this hotel. Every major sight is easily accessible from the hotel. We walked from the Vatican on one day after our tour and on another day we walked to the Spanish Steps and along the main shopping street. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent boutique hotel. Not too small with very comfortable, airy rooms. Lovely roof terrace for breakfast (and drinks in the evening) and smart bar in the lobby. Location is excellent for local bus, tram and Metro Line B from the Colosseum. A quiet modern hotel and would definitaly recommend. Didn't need to experience room service but whenever we asked for something staff were more than happy to help.

Great Air conditioning which is important in Rome in July. Friendly, helpful staff provided excellent services. The beautiful breakfast from their terrazzo made cry my first morning here.

Nicely situated. A lift on the side of the building for wheelchair users. The staff are friendly and helpful. A nice breakfast with plenty of options such as cereals, cooked breakfast or continental style.
A bar that also serves food.
There were two bathrooms and toilets in the accessible room. One was accessible with a wheel in shower and hinged seat on the wall. The only criticism being there was no bar on the side of the toilet to help me lift on.
The whole place was really clean and good to live in. I’d recommend this hotel to all.

I thought the service was just ok. The room was so simple and boring. Breakfast buffet was the minimal compared to other hotels and the location is less than convenient. I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back.

We stayed for only four nights at the hotel's best room with a private terrace.
The terrace is only quite as private as we expected (just next to the bar, divided by some plants) and for some people (not for us) a little too loud.
But that's it for criticism. The room, the terrace, the breakfast and most importantly the friendliness and service of the staff are great. …
We had Luigi to take care of us, his customer orientation ist beyond believe … We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't imagine to go anywhere else when returning to Rome.

The Capo d'Africa is superbly situated for Ancient Roman areas of interest, the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Forum. Overland transport links and Metro are within easy reach and it provides a really good base when visiting Rome. The hotel is first class; a very clean, comfortable and pleasant room that met our expectations perfectly. The staff are friendly and helpful and happily advised to make sure that we had the best experience of the city and to ensure that our stay was a…s perfect as possible. The Terrace Restaurant provided a lovely start to the day looking over the rooftops to the Colosseum and beyond. We enjoyed 4 wonderful days and would definitely return. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.
