Very unique, the room clean and tidy! Service attitude is good!

Well, I booked for 3 nights, but then I realized that i'll be arriving late in the evening so daniella told me she couldnt be waiting and therefore I would have to be booking another hotel for that night which was quite frustration for a relaxing long weekend. bottom line, daniella was kind enough to cancel the booking with no charge. next time im in Rome I will certainly book my stay in B&B city house, as it seems that she really cares about her guests to be happy.

Although the place is really very central hotel and really run down and very dirty. The bathroom is "fake". That is, essentially, a chemical toilet, camping type! The fixtures are so old that they filter out so much light that it is impossible to sleep at night. I had to block out the window with the bedspread! The street noise is annoying but the noises coming from the other rooms are even more annoying. In fact the partition walls are as thin as the Sheetrock.
Also the people running this bed and breakfast are really the angriest. Almost rude! Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Much in the same area there are so many bed and breakfast.

Our family stayed there last August and we were delighted. Our family room and bathroom were large and clean and the AC worked very well. The location is magnificent and Daniella was a great host. We would definitely stay there again, if our Trevi Fountain coins bear fruit. Upsides are the location, the friendly staff, the price, and did I mention the location. The breakfast is ok, brought to your room on a tray, same each day. They have an odd issue about closing the doors extra quietly.

City House Scam*** I'm only writing a review on this place because I don't want anyone to have the same sad, sad experience we did. Upon arrival we waited at the door for almost an hour with no answer. When we finally got ahold of Daniella on the phone she told us we couldn't stay because of a broken toilet. We wanted to see her face to face and when we went back somebody happened to be walking out so we went in the door. Daniella was walking down the stairs and basically told us to get out. We tried to talk to her about it and she was in a hurry and didn't give us the time of day! She kicked us out and we had to find last minute, more expensive accommodations. SO DISAPPOINTED! She could have handled the situation way better.

Amazing Experience in my two stays there. Daniella and her sister both in charge were really kind to me in the first place and with my parents as well when we both went back to spend some days in such an incredible place. We felt at home even when we where far away. Nice breakfast, excellent location, delightful decoration, really clean, great experience! I´ll go back there when I go again to Rome! I strongly recommend it! They always were there to solve any inconvinience I could have. María (Argentina).
