The Claridge is a hotel that delivers on its promise. Professional class accommodations, excellent front desk service (kudos to Anna who is a real pro), substantial hot breakfast, with eggs cooked to order, and a fine location near a major light rail stop which will take you almost anywhere you want to go. It's about a 2-mile, 40 — minute walk through Embassy Row, the beautiful Borghese gardens and the main gate of the ancient wall down to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Roman Forum. Rooms are quite small, with contemporary furnishings and an updated bath. Ours had a small balcony. In short, everything you need and nothing in excess. Note: across the street and down half a block is a Tigre grocery store (take the escalator down). Great place for sandwiches and any grocery items you may need. The room also has a small fridge.

It's a little bit far from the tourist sites, but there are several bus stops nearby. The neighborhood is quiet with restaurants within walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. We felt like we saw more of Rome staying here and taking public transportation with the locals.

Great hotel with everything you need. Room was very pleasant and clean. Thank God it's air-conditioned. Breakfast was okay, you shouldn't set German criteria. From this hotel you can get directly to the centre with several buses. The 360'er is recommended.

A wonderful hotel, modern and clean. The staff does speak English which was a huge help for me. The room was well appointed for my few days but a bit tight compared to US hotels but I find that is normal in Europe. It is located right on both two tram and two bus route. BUT be warned they don't follow the schedule, so always add 30 minutes to your travels to account for the poor transportation system.

This was a very nice hotel that is a little outside the city center, but is well connected to the public transportation of Rome. My wife and I actually liked that it was a little outside the city center because there wasn't as many tourists. There is a train/tram station right in front of the hotel and the hotel will sell you bus passes. The staff were very nice and accommodating! They made a reservation at a restaurant that was just around the corner, and the food was fantastic.

I met this hotel for professional reasons, for a professional course in the Yellow room. It was a very nice hotel. Decent room although a little cramped.

Excellent hotel in the Parioli area, elegant but not very central… I have not stayed there so I can not give a full judgement! In every way great staff and cleanliness.

I give it 4 Stars only due to the room. The pillows and bed was a little rough. As far as the rooms and location and staff 5 Stars. Staff and customer service is the most important. 2nd is prices. They nailed it here. They staff was extremely helpful almost like family here. Very helpful and treated you as you should be. Any question answered. Food is a 3 star but plenty of restaurants in the area. An employee should be praised for his customer service skills is Ramil. A pleasure having him help us. He should be training all employees how to treat customers. What a pleasure.

Staying for 4 nights. Amazing start to the stay. Really helpful staff. Not your regular Hilton though… tuned down version. Easy to find…

The staff was generally quite helpful. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. HOWEVER, the weather got down into the 50s Fahrenheit and we were unable to turn on the heat. The front desk explained that the entire building only has either heat or air conditioning, but not both. They do not have space heaters to offer either. So be warned that if there is a cold snap, you will just be cold. These rooms are quite expensive, so I was frustrated that I was forced to freeze through the night because there is no heat in the building.

Good, very standard business hotel. Welcoming staff, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and functional. Decent price for Rome, and a good location too. About 10 EUR to get to the city centre by taxi. Overall a good experience and a comfortable stay.

Hilton is a guarantee, comfortable hotel with high standard. Spacious and well furnished room although in the specific case located on the ground floor and in a slightly unhappy position. Breakfast rich and complete, services in general above the average of the category.

A good starting point for a city trip to Rome. The bus and S-Bahn station is just a few metres from the hotel, and in about 10 minutes you can reach the city centre. The rooms are clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating and the value for money is right.

The hotel is quite weak for the Hilton. The rooms refreshingly, the walls are dirty. The breakfast was great. Near tram stop, minutes in 5-7-buses. The area is quiet, beautiful. Walking distance to Big Park, zoo.

This hotel provides what you need for travel — comfy bed, convenient location (bus stop is right outside). You could also use the laundry room, fitness center and a shoe shining machine! :)

Lovely hotel in a quiet part of Rome. Superior Rooms are large with comfort beds. Breakfast is extensive. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Nice location, well connected with all the touristic attractions. Staff is very kind, the room was nice and comfy with a few interesting extras (they provide you with a smartphone to help you save on roaming). Avoid the restaurant, it's not bad, but there are so many better options around that it is not worthy.

Staff and the hotel has been amazing! We been here since Friday! Tomorrow will be our last day in Rome. We could not ask for a better Honeymoon. As you can see from the pictures. We have enjoyed our selves very much! Happy travels friends.

My stay here was quite comfortable. Close proximity to all the attractions. Rooms are always clean. Staff courteous. Food was great speaking of food one of the waiters Bacar is his name excellent service really professional and attentive. Would love to see him at front desk as well in fact he made my stay here quite homey.

Amazing place for any tourist or local. Situated in a residential and Buisness neighborhood close to many cafes and restaurants in a safe calm area, you cant go wrong. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious. You can eat breakfast lunch and dinner there or venture out and go to one of many places to eat and drink within a 15 min walk. The US Embassy is blocks away, as well as the bus to tourist hot spots. Be warned if u have a balcony room on the front side of the building you will have a heavy noise level so if you are a light sleeper request a back facing room. Staff is amazing and multilingual. Elevators are tiny in comparison to American norms but its not the end of the world.

We stayed here on our visit to Rome. The staff here was most helpful! Nothing but great experiences. The rooms were just like the American Hilton Garden Inns of which I’m a Diamond member. Great place to stay, several restaurants in walking distance, Gelato across the street, Pizza beside, what more do you want. Also, trolleys in front of hotel that will take you all over the city.

The value for money is higher than the average of hotels in Rome. Great breakfast.

The hotels rooms are very spacious considering the space limitations. Beds are one of the most comfortable ever felt. Be warned, the air con does not really work, so in the summer the rooms are very warm. The menu does not change if you stay for multiple days so prepare for repeats or go out to eat. It's a very nice place with incredibly kind start.

Excellent Hotel on the passing road well connected to 2 steps from Villa Borghese but slightly more distant from the rest of the old town! I didn't stay there so I can't judge the service and the rooms.

I've seen Hilton better. No bar fridge in the room but possibility to buy drinks at reception. We were in December, inside it was very hot. For the rest clean and very friendly staff.

Decent location, little way out from most tourist destinations (both good and bad) — distances are walkable if you're willing. Near a lovely park. Rooms are pleasant.

Great place we stayed, I was in town for business so its off the beaten path and you will need a taxi or metro to go or get anywhere. But the rate was good, the staff was nice and the restaurant next door is very very good.

This hotel is located in a residential area of Rome. Hotel is close to bus routes, take you to anywhere in the city, there are many small restaurants at the corner hotel, but need to be booked in advance on Saturday, Saturday night reservation will usually full. We eat very satisfied.

Nicely located. Rooms are quiet and the window coverings make for that much needed "sleep-in" after a long tourist day. Breakfast is more than enough to get you started for the day. Especially knowing how many slices you will eat while you are out. Staff is extremely cordial and proactive in offering guidance and assistance. Alex (trainee) typified what a great receptionist/concierge is all about. Use the tools at hand to make the guest feel special. The restaurant staff also acted like old friends. Very nice vibe from the hotel.

We were very happy with this hotel. We usually stay right in the cities we visit at bigger hotels. The room was just fine (except not much drawer space. But lots of floor space to set up suitcases) The front desk staff was wonderful! My husband needed a doctor for a bad cold and they called one that came to hotel. We went to the Vatican and the staff was able to track down a photographer who was taking pictures of us (flyer was in Italian! ) The ample breakfast buffet held us until dinner each day. There are good as well as informal restaurants nearby where we enjoyed talking to those from the neighborhood. We rarely used cabs because the tram stop into the city was right out front. At the end of the day, we were happy to return back to the quiet and intimate hotel and surrounding area.

I spent 2 weeks in Rome in the beginning of July when the tourist buzz reaches its peak. Exactly for this reason I picked HGI Claridge — because it's away from the hustle and bustle. In addition, the staff members speak surprisingly fluent English and are able to deal with all my request, huge respect for the great recruitment and management! It's true that the rooms could use some refurbishment; however, everything else is at the highest level.

A summer vacation in Rome was my dream for ages and last month I finally managed to visit this magic city. I stayed at Hilton Rome Claridge and would say that the hotel was rather convenient to all major tourist landmarks, including Vatican and Coliseum which were only a short ride away. Good management and organisation, the breakfast was surprisingly solid during the whole 2 weeks. Comfortable rooms, my only complaint was that mine was too tiny, next time I would definitely require a larger one.

I stayed here with my friends for 4 days at the end of a 2 week vacation. Near the hotel there is a nice neighborhood with a beautiful park in walking distance. It is also convenient to bus and tram services to major sights. Our rooms were comfortable and cozy, with big balconies to relax in evening time to delight the view. For us, English and Japanese only speaking tourists, the staff in the hotel was quite helpful and accommodating. Especially a young woman, whose name I can't spell right (Vialeria). She was great to us during our entire stay.

This hotel should not be part of the Hilton chain. Does not participate in any Hilton specials, does not offer Gold/Diamond members the Hilton "My Way" perks, they state that they do not participate in Hilton benefits/promotions and that only the USA properties offer 'My Way" benefits which is not true. I had a bed and breakfast advance purchase rate and they even tried to tell me that I was not entitled to breakfast, the man in the restaurant was very rude and avoided us like the plague, no offer of coffee for thirty minutes, but he served his local friends immediately. Front desk did not care and would not get manager. Called Hilton who advised that I must sort out myself! Front desk staff are very surly and unhelpful unless you are a local. Rooms are nice, service is very poor, they will not budge and management are non-responsive, but always post responses to bad reviews that they know nothing of the complaints.
