Nice hotel, clean rooms, the underground station is very close to the hotel 20-25 min and you can get to the center. At the recepcion the staff are very nice, friendly and helpful! I was happy to stay here!

Convenient hotel near Vatican City, a short walk from the Cyprus stop of the A line Subway.
Rooms a bit dated in the furnishings but everything in order and working.
Breakfast included, good choice and decent quality.
Young, kind and helpful staff, with goodwill.
Overall I would say that the 4stars are not quite there but the hotel has good value.

Comfortable beds in a small but comfortable room. Our curtains only fell down once and the loose drywall was cleaned up pretty fast. A little sketchy when you look into it but a pretty nice stay overall.

Terrific Breakfast Good Coffee plenty of choice. Good Shower Two singles pushed together but nice enough Near Metro which is quick clean cheap not menacing like Tube in London can be. Danielli Our Concierge cheerful helpful lad Room cleaned Towels changed every day. Could do with a Refurb & Tea Making facilities but. I would stay again.

Nice hotel. The location is very good. Lots of choices at breakfast. Hearty evening dinner with water and wine included. Very good price. Very friendly staff. The rooms are clean with plenty of towels. The shower would need renovation otherwise the bathroom is functional with toiletries included and provided every day. The Wi-Fi goes very well in the rooms. We enjoyed the small fridge in the room which is not equipped with a mini bar. We were able to put our bottled water in cool by this very hot weekend. Very nice to go back to this hotel and have a drink on the terrace in a quiet distance from the city. Close to a supermarket.

Strategic location to get around Rome, the Vatican can be reached on foot in 10 minutes, the Cipro Metro in 5 minutes. I was impressed by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, from the reception, to the maintainers to that of the room, the ownership must be proud to have employees of this caliber and should listen to the complaints of the customers inherent in the rooms, in some the bathrooms are to redo, when you take a shower the water creates a lake on Earth, dangerous, you can slip and get really bad. Thanks to the staff I would stay very willingly from you. Thank you for your welcome.

I really don't understand all the negative reviews for this hotel. It is within walking distance to everything. It is older and could use some updates, but staff were friendly, facilities were clean, and I did not feel unsafe at any time like some others have said. The price was reasonable and I would stay here again.

The staff can be very rude. Also, after meeting with them on something, they were late and would not even apologise. The maintenance of the facilities should be better and the food, besides the breakfast, can be much better. I would not recommend it.

Extremely clean hotel — within walking (1/2 mile) distance to The Vatican!

Booked for 6 nights and only stayed for 2. Requested early check — in due to morning arrival. Request was not honored. Room was average with 2 very small twin beds. Room had no air conditioning and it was 80 degrees and they still had the heat on Wich made it difficult to sleep. Could open the windows but then bugs came in and you could hear all the traffic noise all Night. The free Breakfast was fair and the Free Wi-Fi was not. Consistent. The Staff was not accommodating. Would not stay here again. .

It's a good place, the hotel is in perfect condition. The only bad thing is the area, not very nice.

We are always very satisfied, the breakfast is very good for Italian conditions, the friendliness of the waiters is not to be topped. The rooms are clean and conform to the standard of a centrally located hotel in Rome at 100%. Those who complain here should just stay at the Hilton and pay five times the price. You can't expect maximum performance for normal money.

We had a great time. All the staff are friendly and smiling, from the waiters to the housekeepers. The people at the reception are professional and top.

Everything was okay untill the cleaning lady looked throught my stuff and she took 30 euros from me. I'm absolutly not happy with the way they treaded me. And I'm not the only one!

I’m not happy with this stay. They had put us in a room of three while we were with four. Above all the bad service the cleaningladies had stolen 30 euros from us. This was a very bad experience.

The staff is friendlier and helpful, as well as competent. The rooms are clean, tidy and dignified.
The breakfast room is large and well furnished. Breakfast is great for quality and quantity. I will stay here again.

It is a regular hotel, good attention, very small bathrooms, does not work the A/C, a downtown area of the city, good attention, regular breakfast, small elevators, possibly a place to spend a night or two and already!

A four-star hotel that does not have a fridge in the room, but distributors off the floor and not all, exorbitant prices just to water more than €2… stayed at the top floor which I would call a pigeon, crumbling bedrooms, like service, breakfast best not to mention… Lunch or dinner from Caritas that you eat better… but with 5-star prices… come on it's time to wake up and invest for a better welcome, and a service like God commands, then you complain that tourists do not arrive!? With the welcome you give what do you expect? That they return to great party? Improved cleaning service, and everything else.

The breakfast was not tasty and we had mold in the room.

Old but functional. The area is very quiet with supermarkets and varied restaurants.

It's close to the Vatican. Also the tax it's expensive. And the breakfast is acceptable. The Atencion it's very good.

4 star Hotel that has good value for money maybe not the latest fashion but it is classy. The full menu of the day at 20 euros is a must. Located about 500 meters from St. Peter's Square. The staff is always solar helpful and is lavish in satisfying customers. Equipped with a very useful parking even if it is not great. The photos are of the room they gave me and I booked two days before and it was super request on booking. I will definitely return.

Hotel in good location. 8 min walking to subways. Free breakfast buffet. However hotel is old. Floor is dirty and was always wet because of the air condition condensation. In room refrigerator could not keep anything cold. Will probably not stay again.

Very clean hotel, however, the week I was there came every night to another youth group that made noise. The supervisors were powerless. Especially the slamming of the doors was sleep-robbing.

Good location and friendly staff, but the hotel itself did not meet expectations. The room makes you feel like you're in a convent as it has no decoration except for a small picture of the Virgin at the top of the bed (I got no problem with the Catholic theme whatsoever, but at least try to make it a nice one and put some effort). The keys are outdated and you have to walk around with the big keychain everywhere you go. The AC doesn't seem to work and my bed sheets seemed to have little stains. The pros: big sized rooms, good food in their restaurant, and friendly staff. I would not stay here again.

A little dated and terrible breakfast.

Had an odd smell and was very cramped. Friends complained of malfunctioning showers in their rooms and the key system is a bit ancient. The breakfast was definitely better than expected and the Staff is very friendly.

at present this I personally and I believe the 99, 90% of the friends who stayed from 13 to 15 December 2016 we are all all right not deserves 4 stars but HALF a STAR, just cordiality in acceptance, waiters grumpy without a hint of politeness, ask something and forget that you are served, sleepless disappointing hotel.
What you see in the pictures I think that goes back some years when this worked fine and I have no doubt that it was owned by other people. Reading this review, you may be thinking that I care so much money I know went in and other people arrive. But the publicity made by us that residiamo abroad I think it is very (sadly negative).
I apologize and I hope that the measures and to recruit ready take Scheff much more qualified.
PS. Passing from the back near the kitchen the Cook with the waiters, they exchange words with a piquant with curses and well that I don't care.
I mean there are no other words to add. You only see reviews about 6 years ago.

Very close to the Vatican gates. Very polite service. Rooms are comfy and breakfast is yummy :-)

Im not too picky with rooms. The shower water pressure wasn't great, it got lukewarm at best even after running 15 minutes, the toilet seat was very loose and wobbly, and there was only one usable outlet. If those kinds of things would bother you, that should be known. It was pretty cheap, and I didn't stay long enough to want to report that stuff. It didn't really want to make me come back though.

Simply magnificent. I returned to a State of grace. Thanks also to the staff. See you in April …

Avoid! No hot water and pathetic water pressure in a ridiculous shower with stupid water jets (same experience as the last review, rude staff telling you how to turn a shower on), the beds are very uncomfortable, changing the A/C setting tripped the circuit breaker for the lights. Looks flash on the outside, but needs some TLC.

An ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! Here's the scenario… 1. When we walked in, the lobby was not air conditioned and very hot. That was our first warning sign. 2. When we checked in, the hotel demanded our taxes up front. (48 euros for four nights, per couple) That was our second warning sign. 3. When we got to our room, the a/c did not work, the shower didn't drain, the shower fixtures broke off in your hand, the walls were filthy, the carpet was old and musty and had not been vacuumed in month. 4. They sent a guy to fix the shower. He simply stuck it back on and told us not to touch it. (REALLY? ) 5. The a/c filter was filthy and obviously had not been changed in many months. 6. We had no choice but to endure one night, but when we left the next morning, they would not refund our taxes, that they demanded up front, but hopefully they would be credited at a later date. 7. There was never a real attempt to fix any of the problems or to help with any issues. I have traveled to over 45 countries and endured many normal travel problems. I've even experienced some nightmares, but that was in Somalia and Yemen. These type of issues should never happen in a city like Rome. Hotels have a responsibility for regular normal maintenance, and a basic ability to solve problems satisfactorily when they arise. If they cannot, you must go somewhere else.

The Positive first: the Breakfast buffet is perfect and deserves 4 stars. The Hotel is far away from the centre and in the years to come, the plaster flakes. Our room could have used a new coat of paint, We have taken in Rome, only 2 rude people and these were just the 2 young gentlemen in the front Desk. Wi-Fi reception we had in the hallway. The promised TV programs (ARD) were not available, only Italian channels were received. Who wants to stay, we are only here, and from the special offering benefits, we can live well with it. I recommend the Hotel, it is overrated.

I was quite harsh about this hotel on TripAdvisor due to very poor Internet. But it is really quite a nice hotel. Staff are very friendly, free breakfast is more than adequate, and location for visiting Vatican is superb. And the Internet service has improved. I would return here.

Rooms and services of good quality. Loud noises due to a very bad soundproofing. Permanent noises of flushing, showers, elevator, impression that the guests of the adjoining room are with you in your!. The location of the hotel is not ideal. Too eccentric, as the Metro links in Rome are very few the trips to the other tourist sites quickly become tiring. Note the excellent breakfast buffet
