Family was scheduled for 11 days cruise and chose to stay at this hotel after the cruise. Unfortunately cruise is cancelled with the COVID situation and this BW hotel will not refund our money. Obviously I cannot go on cruise and I will not travel to Italy given it’s hot spot location. I’ve asked for a refund 4 times, the US side of BW is refunding but Italy hotel are not doing the same. They are only offering reschedule in next 12 months but I’m not comfortable traveling to Italy until this is cured/vaccine, and I will not be doing a cruise until then either. Thus I wanted a refund and this hotel is not returning my money. I will never stay at or recommend a BW hotel again.

Our stay was simply wonderful! The staff were beyond exceptional and truly were amazing. They were friendly and most helpful no matter what our needs were. The room was pristine and very comfortable! We were truly happy with our stay and would totally recommend for anyone looking to stay near the Vatican. Truly more than I expected and am quite happy!

Perfect location and very helpful and kind front of house staff. The restaurant was absolutely dreadful and food was inedible in the evening but the breakfast was fine and plentyful. Front of house staff were polite and always happy to help. Overall a pleasant stay apart from our dinner.

Nice and helpful Team and rich breakfast. But the single rooms are small like a chamber in a medieval monastery. As a person over 1, 60 m you can hardly move. The room seems as big as the door. The single room is definately not to recommend.

Perfect location for our stay in Rome. The rooms were nice, very comfortable bedding. The staff were helpful with great recommendations of restaurants and things to do. Restaurant had a wonderful complimentary breakfast with a great variety of food and condiments.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night after a 10 day cruise. We loved our room, very modern design (Room 209). It is a junior suite and was very comfortable for 4 people. There are stairs in the room that lead to a loft where our 2 teenage sons slept. It was a very spacious area up there. The bathroom was huge and had a separate shower and tub. There was an RGB light over the shower that changed colors, nice touch. Free water in mini-fridge was also nice. There were 2 robes and 2 sets of slippers waiting for us on our bed! The A/C in our room was great, which is not always the case for a hotel in Italy. The breakfast had a nice variety of food, cereal, eggs, fruit, etc. We ate dinner at the hotel since we were tired from walking around during the day at the Vatican and did not want to venture out. It is hot in July! (The Vatican is really close by, museum entrance). The dinner was very nice! My son ate lunch at a nearby McDonald's which was interesting to compare a foreign location to those at home in the US. We will definitely stay here again.

The bathrooms were clean and very large and our stay was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

I booked room for 3 nights in Rome since I am AA Advantage Platinum member, always their site for booking. My requirements was 2 adults and 2 children which the reservation system requires me to identify their age (13 and 15 years). When arrived at this hotel the receptionist said it will only sleep 3 and said sorry, this is what we have and nothing else, I requested if we can get me portable mattress or portable bed so it will accommodate our needs, the answer was no sorry, we don't have more rooms, When we entered the room it was so small and could not even fit our 3 piece luggage, We informed the receptionist that we can't fit in this room, the answer again was sorry and there is nothing we can do at this moment. I requested to cancel our room reservation and we will find another hotel that will accommodate our needs. The staff was shaking his head… We have been in 3 weeks European vacation and all reservation was done in the same way, we got excellent room and good treatment on other hotels in France, Switzerland, Milan, Venice, but Best Western Plus Hotel in Rome Italy was horrible experience. We left the hotel within 15 minutes of arrival and the staff said sorry that there was misunderstanding but we will be charged for our room. I guess that misunderstanding almost ruined our Rome Vacation. I am so glad that we found under hotel and 4 of us are staying comfortably… Best Western Plus Hotel staff tried to blame this on me and said it was my fault.

Hotel has wonderful staff and is clean, updated, and very close to the Vatican. Matteo was EXCEPTIONAL! He was sincere and welcoming. Right after he checked us in, he automatically pulled out a map of Rome and explained where we were at with the hotel, where the closest metro station was at, gave us a suggested walking tour, etc. WOW! He was helpful on other days too and took care of booking our return taxi to the airport. The best customer service at any hotel we have ever stayed at. When you visit another country and don't know the language or the way around, you realize just much help and reassurance you need, and Matteo was exactly what we needed. The other staff were kind too. The breakfast buffet ran out of chocolate covered donuts one day, and one of the waitstaff brought a plate full of them to our daughter later during breakfast. We would use this hotel again and recommend it to others in a heartbeat!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Hotel Spring House. The hotel is close to the Vatican and metro, and other sites. The staff has always been pleasant and very professional. The rooms are clean. The included breakfast includes all you need to get the day started. We will stay here again on our next visit to Rome.

Hotel is beautiful with clean rooms, many breakfast options and places to sit and relax. Very centrally located. Wonderful staff; Ricardo the bartender is very funny! We will enjoy coming back here!

Clean but below the Best Western Plus in other cities. Restaurant inside not tried, but of somewhat resigned appearance: it is understood that it is not very used by the guests. It is in a rather peripheral area but well served and near the Vatican Museums. Normal breakfast. Friendly staff. Non-exciting rooms x space: My triple is just enough. Pretty high prices.

Always a good hotel. Receptionist give always clear explanation about rate and other stuff. Clean are clean and give a good feeling.

Great location A few steps from the Metro and from St. Peter's, very clean hotel with polite and polite staff, great areas, outside space with a small garden and also has indoor parking. I was disappointed in the rooms, from the pictures they looked spacious in fact they are small as well as the bathroom and unfortunately with an inner door that divides the room with the other adjoining and brings all the neighbors noises.

The Hotel is equipped with an American bar, which offers lunch and dinner for guests.

If you want a good hotel that's near the Vatican, and conveniently located near transit to visit other attractions in Rome, look no further than this hotel. This hotel is located where you could walk to all the main attractions in Rome, if you choose to do so, in 30 minutes. The Metro is really close by as well, so if you prefer not to walk, the Metro can take you to many if the attractions you want to see such as the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, etc. Also note that there's a supermarket a few minutes away and you can get a 2 liter bottle of water for less than. 50 Euro. Save money and get water there to fill up your bottles.

Highly recommended this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They speak in several languages.
Spacious rooms with all the comfort. It has a continental breakfast room, bar service and Roon service. It is a few blocks from St. Peter's Square. From the hotel you can go around the Vatican and surroundings walking. Two blocks you have the subway to stretch the route. And although it has a good location; The area is quiet not being on an avenue. Good prices accept cash and credit card. You can book with the hotel directly or through booking.

Very clean rooms. Mateo at front desk is very kind and friendly. Breakfast buffet is really nice. Lots of choices. There was a problem with ac in room but they quickly changed the room for us. Shower in first room was very small. Only enough to stand straight up, couldn't bend over to wash my feet. Shower in second room was more roomy.

Excellent facility. Great location and super helpful staff. Our experience was great by alk means. We have been offered free breakfast and we stored our luggage for free.

Great area with Metro stop a few steps in well served area. Nice room clean staff nice and nice, many servizibe common spaces beautiful and elegant even a small garden with comfy sofas! Great breakfast and an aperitif offered to well come! Well everything very good only small sins if we really want to give a tip… The outlets near the bedside table would be more comfortable… but otherwise everything great was a wonderful stay!

It was very close to the Vatican Museums. Staff always helpful and friendly.

Had a 4 night stay at spring house hotel over the new year. Everything perfect, great customer service. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Rome. Just sorry we didn't get to use the sauna.

Very good, breakfast was very good and we got a bigger room at no cost.

Very nice hotel, clean and well located. Friendly staff. They always made me a little pasta for my baby. Only downside was the room and the bathroom a little small compared to the photos on the site. However I would go back asking however a room a little more spacious.

Amazing Hotel very nice almost new, excellent breakfast and very varied, attentive staff only lack more kindness to the staff of the Breakfast cafe, we also happened to arrive we had to pay 50 EUROS more because my reservation was cancelled according to Problems with the card, same with which I paid to arrive without any problem, as they tried to contact me but in my mail I only found the confirmation message without any comment or message of any situation related to the card, however the Lady from reception kindly and very attentively helped us and gave us a spectacular room, for the treatment of the front desk person would return… thank you very much note… we asked the shuttle or taxi service to the reception staff to go to the airport and they said Cost 50 Euros But when you arrive at the airport the driver tried to charge us 5 euros more, but to tell you that at the reception I got the price of 50 euros had no choice but to respect the price… Be careful with this because the drivers are very abusive.

Excellent Hotel, service of very high standard, conveniently located 2 steps from the Vatican. Nice rooms, good insorisation, large king size bedding, nice bathroom for this superior room. The hotel is very modern, probably redone for a short time, everything is clean and modern.

All decent except that the air conditioner is pre set to hot. Because it's winter season. No matter how hot it is winter.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Stayed at this hotel for 8 days and it was nice and clean. We got the top balcony which we loved. Everyone was very nice and attentive. The rooms and beds were small something to get use to, although we didn't spend to much time besides sleeping. The shower was extremely small. Close to the Vatican and also the metro which is needed in Roma. I would just probably upgrade to a bigger room and shower next time.

Lovely breakfast, excellent location to Vatican museum entrance (2 blocks), fantastic location to Rome metro subway, within walking distance to many good restaurants. Recommend the junior suites as standard rooms are small (yet still sufficient). Great bar and outdoor patio area for us all to gather. Would definitely stay here again.

A very nice little hotel. A dynamic and very available team is at your disposal. Varied and plentiful breakfast buffet. A downside on the air conditioning but without gravity. Close to the Vatican and tourist places. Bus 492 at the foot of the hotel which leads you to the Forum and Colosseum very convenient. The Icrpa Metro is 2 steps away but less friendly.

Lovely hotel, staff at the reception are so welcoming and professional. We had a two level family room and it was excellent. Breakfast are excellent too. I would definitely stay there again.

I had an awesome time at this hotel, from the time I walked through the door until I left, the staff were an amazing group of workers, they brought so much professionalism to what they did. From the house keeping staff, to the restaurant and the front desk staff, they were all so professional, not forgetting the delicious breakfast we had, I must mention the chef and staff, hospitality at its best. I would invite all who plan to visit Rome to go to this hotel it is in the center of all the major tourism sites, and your stay would be the best you ever had.

I was here on two separate stays. The first was with a group in a junior suite, which was essentially two bedrooms on two different floor levels with skylights and a huge bathroom. On the second stay we were in a standard room that was extremely cramped and notably lacked in bathroom space and in places to put things. If you're traveling in a group, it's worth looking into an upgrade to a suite. Outside of that, it's a spotless facility with great food in a great location.

Small room, air conditioning makes noise and does not work well, cons very well located next to the Vatican Museum.

Very nice aesthetics and theme. The rooms look good but are a bit cramped. The breakfast selection is varied, especially for the size of the establishment. The hotel also has a bar and an outdoor area. There is also a gym and a relaxation area, which contains a sauna that you can reserve. The excellent service is conducted by polite and friendly personnel. The rooms are outfitted with televisions with some local channels. However, the TVs are mounted very tightly to the wall, preventing the connection of your own cables. A solid stay for up to four people.

We stayed at the Best Western Spring House for 2 nights and would definitely stay there again when in Rome. The staff was helpful, friendly, accommodating and willing to respond to any questions asked. They recommended a superior restaurant at which to dine our first evening in Rome. The rooms were spotless, modern and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good as well. I would recommend having some type of a small commode to be able to unpack, but this comment does not reflect the excellent time that we had staying at the hotel while we visited Rome.

Tonio… the desk clerk… is an AMAZING person! So helpful and friendly! So was the young girl working with him this morning… but I didn't catch her name. The rest… not so much.
Breakfast was so good and had so many choices! The ladies working the breakfast were great! So nice!
The rooms were clean, but not layed out well. The floor we were on had only 7 rooms… but guests that slam doors and talk loud in a confined space, not good. The pigeons on the roof right above our heads were loud too!
The room was very hot, even after shutting off the heat. No a/c in winter… we opened the window some, but no screens and I was afraid the pigeons would come in.
Over all, Best Western Spring House is 10 times better than any I have stayed at in the USA. I'd stay again, but be a little better prepared… fan, ear plugs… etc.

A very good stay in this hotel, very friendly staff who will not fail to help you in case of need. The breakfasts are very decent, clean rooms and sauna area very nice.
The area is quiet as it is a bit far from the center (at 4 metro stations) on the other hand, located at the gates of the Vatican. This is very useful if you have booked a guide at 7:30.

We enjoyed our stay in a quadruple room. Very clean, lovely little window with a tree outside. Bathroom was very clean with a huge basin, excellent shower, white towels were tied in a red ribbon & changed daily . Hairdyer, mini fridge, kettle, tea, coffe, sugar and milk supplied although we had to ask for more milk as there were four of us. I would suggest another mirror on the wall perhaps as four Ladies we needed it. It did get a little noisy at night when the aircon came on and sometimes you could hear nouse frim ither guests but that is to be ecoected sometimes The mini bar had no price list which would of been handy but we were given two bottles of water on arrival. Also a free fruit cocktail. The beds were made everyday and bins emptied. The breakfast was really tasty with excellent service from all of the staff. The hotel is central to all of the sights with help and advice from the staff on reception you really will enjoy your stay with great value for money you can't go wrong.

Friendly staff will help you with your bags, call a taxi for you and give you restaurant recommendations any time. Our room was nice, clean and the air conditioning. Was cold (which is rare in Italy). The breakfast was the standard continental buffet with plenty of choices and good cappuccino. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Stay in hotels close to 2014 Easter Vatican. Partly renovated. We were in a room with a loft great and brand new. TT positive by.

The Hotel is small but fine and clean. The staff are friendly. However, the Breakfast did not, the offer is great but the seats are not sufficient. And if you're unlucky you sit with your chair directly at the Buffet. Need to not get up to you juice to get. The guests of the ingredients for Breakfast get do not come off because you are so with your chair before standing. A family with four children, say 6 people only had four chairs. NO GO! For me, one reason there is not more to stay.

Excellent suites. Great price and very comfortable room. The staff exquisite and very willing to help. A mention apart for the Manager of the mini restaurant, a teacher with the spaghetti.

Staff friendly, kind and helpfull. My room was very small and too warm (I got to sleep with the window open). But. I manage to work on the balcony :-).

Hotel rooms were fine although bathrooms were way too small. Customer service was good, including a map on arrival and booking an airport shuttle for our family of 5. There's an evening reception with snacks and drinks, and very good breakfast. Wireless internet worked fine. Best of all is the location: 2 blocks away from the Vatican and a 5 minute walk to the Cipro metro station. Hotel filled with mostly American tourists.
