Great location to get around, 7-minute walk. The property and rooms are now dated, while maintaining the quality, amenities and amenities of a 4-star hotel. Great cleanliness, super courteous staff and helpful.

Very regular hotel. He got a star out of him. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The only good thing is its location, attached to Vatican City.

The hotel is located in the middle of Rome so great to reach everything on foot. Breakfast is too little choice for a German would be able to improve. Unfortunately, the rooms are already old. The staff is always friendly. Who comes by car the hotel has a few streets further a very cute parking for 30 euros a day.

Recommend! A new hotel 600km from the Vatican! Men — necessarily with wives! You can and should have breakfast at their nearby hotel on the 6th floor. A woman will appreciate breakfasts in a restaurant with panoramic views of the Vatican. Mine appreciated). There are downsides, as in all hotels, they are not many: slow elevator… sharp change of hot water to cold… Another small plus — Russian-speaking cleaners. Cleanly cleaned and brought everything that was asked: corkscrew, plates and glasses for dinner with wine on the terrace). There is only one room with a terrace. Check.

This hotel was great because out of the 5 hotels I’ve stayed in Italy this one had the best AC. It’s Summertime and it’s SOO hot right now (mind you I’m coming from Miami FL) but the AC actually gave off cold air (central AC). There’s a tiny TV. I cannot complain.

This is an OK hotel. The room that we got was kinda small, the water pressure was weird and the a. C. Was weak no matter what we did, a month from now (its now june) it wouldn't have been tolerable. It gets a 3 for the price.

Good location as well as the price but the hotel would need important maintenance and modernization interventions.

Our check in experience awful. Fire alarm went off and no staff were around of had any idea what was going on with other patrons concerned as well with no information given at all. Only place where concierge refused to help us confirm our tours. Shower facility is out dated. Don't see how this can come close to a 4 star hotel.

Stay for work. Old rooms with dirty carpeting. Dated and expensive set. Not worth it.

This is a charming hotel with a bit of that old world glory that one hopes to find near the Vatican. The location is spot on. The service is friendly. The jacuzzi tubs are relaxing. The garden is a pretty little hideaway. It can be quite noisy on the side facing the street. I asked to be moved and they happily obliged. The price is great. I would definitely stay here again. It really came in handy when I was told I had to put pants on instead of shorts on the day of my Vatican tour. I ran back to the hotel and returned in under 20 minutes. *** As a side note, after arriving at the airport and being informed that my shuttle would cost me €48 plus €5 for using a credit card, I downgraded this hotel's rating to three stars from four. The hotel desk attendant did not explain to me that requesting my pickup for 9 a. M. Instead of the 7 O'clock time that the shuttle was scheduled for would result in a fee. The Atlante Garden Hotel website states that they offer free shuttle service to the airport upon departure. The failure of the desk attendant to explain this to me is very shady and I would not likely stay at this hotel again.

Large! Kind and comfortable for St. Peter's are at a minute.

Im trying to book a room. They don't speak English so they just keep hanging up. Very "good costumer service". They strive to be the best.

Excellent hospitality first class services and cleanliness of the premises. Great hotel in the middle of the eternal City.

More than we could ask for (value for money), perfect location and staff was extremely polite and caring. The rooms are clean, good size, and the bed is comfy. The location was perfect, a 5 minutes walk to St. Peter's Square and 7 minutes walk to the metro line A.

Poor Wi-Fi connection and uncomfortable bed. You get two very thin pillows. I tried to get more pillows after waking up at 2am. The receptionist tells me everything is closed and I have to wait until 0700 for pillows. Rooms were improperly cleaned — hairs on bathroom. Shower temp and sprayer were out of order. The water would be icy cold one minute and then scalding the next. The tubs had jets. 6€ per person/ per night tax surprise. All the other receptionists were very friendly and the breakfast was good though.

No frills, great location, comfortable enough amenities and rooms. Clean. Cute garden roof. Service was helpful always and I can't find anything to complain about. Surrounding neighborhood is also great.

Nice hotel with in a proximity to old Rome and in close neighborhood to Vatican. Room was clean and comfortable (just a mattress was deep and soft). Unfortunately our room was a temperature of outside and this was in half November. We also had to wait for a warm water slightly longer than usual. Comparing with European standard of four stars hotel breakfasts, I would call it an average at its maximum. If you think of having a full breakfast at a begging of a long sightseeing day, rather forget about it. Reception is open all night and staff is friendly and helpful. Thieves have to pay everything on booking after they aubligé us a tax of 500 euro hotel cleanliness Zero parking and the restaurant ya not really you're going to throw your money.

Very good hotel, helpful staff, very good bedding, ideal location for sightseeing (next to the Vatican and important places of Rome to walk in the day and Metro next), very good morning buffet.

All in all it's a good hotel. Excellent location mainly if you are going to visit the Vatican, good food and shopping. The room is good, in our case it was dark and faced a slightly noisy street, breakfast is not included and has a value of 9 euros per person but it is good. The person was very attentive we were assisted in the purchase of some Tours without problems and also we contracted the Shutlel for the airport.

Made to feel welcome upon arrival. Bit of a squeeze in the lift, but the rooms are great. The wallpaper is like carpet too. The location is perfect for our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed in here in June 2017 and it is a great place to stay. Affordable, clean and close to everything. The front desk was always glad to see us and offered good tips for taking the subway or bus. Everyone was so nice and very helpful. We had two twin beds that were very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. The cleaning staff was very efficient and friendly. We will definitely stay at the Atlante Garden Hotel again next time we are in Roma.

By far the worst hotel I've been in. Their "king sized bed" is really 2 twins pushed together (I fell through the seam). Two of the three knobs to control the jacuzzi were broken. My girlfriend and I both got a bug bite. Breakfast is disgusting and costs 9 euro. Staff is not friendly. Shower head had so much mineral deposit that flow was almost completely obstructed. Cut off Wi-Fi after using less than a gig of data. Only do one way airport service. Dirty room.

The double bed is literally 2 beds put together, but they're reasonably comfortable. The only problem is in the lower level rooms you can hear all the noise from the street, which wouldn't work for people with light sleep. Other than that, it has a good location near the Vatican (about 10 min walking), a metro station is also close and there are some good places to eat around the corner.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights. The location is ideal: It is located very close to the Vatican, 5 min walk from Via della conciliation and near Piazza Risorgimento, area via Ottaviano where you can take the Metro A and reach the rest of the capital. The rooms, at least mine, were not too large but still cozy and equipped with normal comforts (minibar, TV, heating, jacuzzi, safe) ; The breakfast, international, was always plentiful and satisfying, never missed anything even when you arrived late compared to the start time. The staff, friendly and helpful, allows you to spend a pleasant stay in every situation. You can also make free use of the shuttle service exclusively to be taken at the airport and accompanied to the hotel, not the other way for which are asked €20 per person. Prices however not too high compared to the 4 stars that characterize the hotel. Generally promoted.

Stayed there for three nights and was given a room in the third floor which is great because we didn't hear any street noise. Room is average (the bathroom was amazing) and cleaned well and the staff was excellent. Our breakfast was included. About 5-10 minute walk to the Vatican and there are so many delicious restaurants in the vicinity. Colosseum and other structures are a bit away, a 45 minute walk but you can take the metro or walk (you see a lot on the way there! ).

Nice hotel, room is spacious, staff are great and helpful, wide range of buffet breakfast. This hotel is accessible in all areas as it is situated in the middle of everything such as shops, Vatican, restaurants, market etc. My stay was an enjoyable and a memorable one. I would recommend to my friends or people I know who wants to visit Rome.

My husband and I picked this place to stay while visiting Rome. The location was great as it was very close to the Vatican. However, there was quite a bit of a hike to get to the other parts of the city. The hotel itself is located in a safe neighborhood, is Clean, the staff are helpful, friendly and they speak English well. But my God the beds are not comfortable at all!

The location is the only asset of the hotel dated because at 5 minutes walk from the Basilica St Pierre. The rooms are comfort just correct and above all very badly soundproofed. We have the feeling of sleeping in the street…
The bathrooms have a bath but with a vulgar plastic shower curtain unworthy of a hotel 4 stars. Breakfast and correct without excess. As for staff and especially the concierges not speak a word of French. Except the location this hotel is not worth the detour nor its 4 stars and is not intended for the french.

Clean comfortable and in the Vatican. Subway is convenient, across San Angel bridge to city was a bit far from the Center. Liked the neighborhood feel. Near the hotel there are a lot of very nice dinner option.

Good location. Rooms are quite average. Staff friendly and helpful. Description of room and services available was misleading. The roof top cocktail bar is at the sister hotel 1 block away. No tea or coffee in the room. No air con. Jacuzzi bath was fun. Clean, comfortable and convenient.

My review is only in regards to the hotel rooftop garden and bar. We came here 2 times and had decent drink service, good cocktails by Rome standards (Rome is behind the US in cocktails by a lot), and obviously a great view. Can be hot in the sun but there are covered chairs. But they were awesome in helping me set up my proposal. My dad gave the waiter a secret signal a la The Sting which they practiced beforehand. The waiter then brought up the ring on a tray full of champagne flutes and 2 bottles on ice. They were more than willing to go out of the way for us and held onto the ring for 45 minutes waiting for the signal. Risky? Maybe. But they came through in a big way making my engagement that much better.

Apart from the location which is good being near the Vaticano, the remaining about this hotel was somehow disappointing.

Pretty nice place overall. I was a bit surprised at how small my room was but then again I booked under an economy deal through Travelocity. My only real complaint was that they advertise a free pick up from the airport, and while this is true they then charge you about 35 euros to get back to the airport. Granted they only advertise a free shuttle "from the airport" but it seems a bit deceptive. Also be aware that all hotels in Rome charge a hidden tax for the pleasure of bringing your dollars to their city of 6 or 7 euros per person per night and this was not included in what I paid through Travelocity and I had to pay this additionally.

Cleanliness, friendliness, location. Truly international breakfast. 5 star value.

Stayed here for two nights, and I it was wonderful. We didn't use the hotel for much more than sleeping, but the location was great, and the price was reasonable.

Be careful as their website for the hotel we stayed at, Atlante Garden, shows a lovely view, rooftop bar and Restraunt but that is actually the sister hotel about three blocks away called Hotel Atlante Star and not the Atlante Garden. There is not view or even a restraunt. Decent hotel near the Vatican city entrance to St. Peters Basillica. Great location for walking all over rome and neighborhood was safe. We have two young children and were fine walking around until almost midnight. The room was clean, but the hotel front desk staff was actually quite rude when asking simple questions about getting taxis and transfers to airport. Transfer to airport via free shuttle is not an option. They simply call a service and you pay 50 Euro. The hotel has a decent continental breakfast, but the lobby bar staff didn't show up one night so they just didn't open the bar. Forget about getting a bucket of ice, it doesn't exist. There also isn't a safe in the room, however, we didn't have any problem. Overall, I would say it was a good experience as we just used the room as a home base while discovering the city, just don't set expectations on this property too high.

The Hotel Atlante Garden was a pleasant hotel to stay in Rome. It is walking distance from the Vatican, and just a few blocks away from the metro station that can take you into town. Furthermore as it is near the Vatican it is well served by other public transport. Food shops are nearby (supermarkets, take-aways, restaurants) and it has a lot of souvenir and clothes shops. It is walking distance easily into town, although in the hot days might be a bit of a struggle for the unfit. The hotel itself is clean. The staff are pleasant and speak English very well (as well as German and Spanish as far as I could tell). The rooms are clean and well furnished in a fairly classical style. The mod cons might not be as good as other hotels, but you get the basics (e. G. TV, mini-bar, hair dryer etc. ). The bath itself has a jacuzzi function. The only downside is that there is no iron — so if you want to iron something it can be done through the hotel laundry for a 6 euro charge. There is also internet as either Wi-Fi or via a computer (with printer) in the hotel lobby. Overall this is a good hotel to stay in. Recommended.
