We had an overall great stay at The Code Hotel Rome, with several standout positives and a few disappointing details that could definitely be improved.
We booked the Junior Suite with the jacuzzi, and the room itself was exceptional and truly surpassed our expectations. The entrance to the suite was particularly impressive, featuring a full foyer and a staircase that felt very grand and elegant, fitting perfectly with the character of Rome. It made entering the room feel like an experience in itself.
Upon arrival, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. The room was generally very clean and well presented. However, we did notice some staining on the toilet, which was disappointing given the standard of the rest of the room. Additionally, although we booked a double room, it consisted of two single beds pushed together. These beds kept separating during the night, which made sleeping uncomfortable and detracted from what was otherwise a luxurious room.
Housekeeping did a thorough job cleaning the room daily, but unfortunately we did experience an issue where our scratch cards were taken, which was quite upsetting and unexpected.
We didn’t have the opportunity to try the breakfast during our stay, although from what we saw it appeared fairly standard.
One of the more frustrating aspects of our stay involved the spa facilities.
The room was tiny and basic (a small double), I kept hitting the furniture by mistake because there wasnt room to move.
The sound proofing was amazing! The hotel is facing a very busy street but with the window closed we were amazed by the quiet!
Would've appreciated some more ameneties in the room, like a kettle/ coffee maker, complimentary water bottles, shleves in the closet (I ended up putting my clothes on the desk).
The safe didnt work and we had problems with the hot water but those were fixed.
Also, the coffee at breakfast was undrinkable, had a weird after taste. Especially compared to coffee in Italy in general which is great.
The location is great but other than that value for money could be a lot better.

What a fantastic hotel! Situated perfectly near the Spanish Steps, with the most resourceful and attentive staff, including Claudio and Salvadore, who helped to make our stay perfectly fabulous! I am booking again later this year!
