Great hotel
Very comfortable and clean rooms.
Only one drawback :the pillows too hard, breakfast not buffet.

I was pleasantly surprised by the look and feel once inside.
The location is great, 10 minutes away from the City with a bus stop across from the hotel and the Metro 500m away.
People super friendly and helpful.

Magnificent view from the Breakfast room in the 8. Floor over the city to St. Peter's Basilica. Very helpful staff, we wanted to leave, for example, on the day of arrival only our Luggage, the staff gave us immediately a room, so that we could once again make fresh. This is not, of course, thank you again for.

Nice hotel 20min walk from the colleseum the room we had was comfortable the bed large enough even for my 6ft 4in frame. The bathroom had a walk in shower very strong and hot the towels were fluffy bath sheet size we got a welcome glass of prosecco with snacks and a bottle in our room for our anniversary, the breakfast was good with a wide selection and espresso coffee if you wanted it all the staff were friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. Great staff and very helpful. I will be happy to stay again when we are over.
We need to see more sights.

Weekend trip to Rome I surprised my husband with a short trip to Rome last week of August. The hotel is close to the Metro and just opposite a supermarket with fair local prices. The staff was very friendly and our room was quite, modern and clean. We had a brilliant view over Rome. Breakfast was a bit disappointing and plates and glasses weren't clean. Service staff during breakfast didn't speak English and only took care of the Italien hotel guests. This was a bit disappointing. I would recommend the hotel for a short stay at Rome only — good value for money.

Best staff ever! Room was a bit small but it’s expected in Europe. The room was very clean and tidy couldn’t ask for anymore. The location is great! You have a supermarket across the street and a metro station nearby in which I took almost everyday while in Rome. Don’t let the looks outside be deceiving the hotel is really nice inside. Greta was the first person I spoke with when my husband and got there and she was great! Thank you Greta! Everyone was happy to help. We had a wonderful stay for our 32nd wedding anniversary and they even sent us a wonderful gesture. Thanks again everyone I will definitely stay there again.

The staff at reception were ok but only did what they had to no real welcome. The room was clean and tidy. The staff I the breakfast room was the nicest.

A strategically located hotel to visit the city, quite close to the metro but at the same time very quiet on the upper floors. Room on the seventh floor of small square footage but very quiet and equipped with all the comforts. Value for money in August: great.
A special eulogy to Greta for the great availability when booking and checking on site. I recommend the structure.

Good hotel with friendly staff. Great breakfast! They charged only 2 Euro per person. (They charged us 7 Euro in Best Western chc Florence). Entrance to hotel is run down but they might improve that down the line — I suppose.

The hotel maintains the Best Western standard, the rooms are small but equipped with every comfort. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed, soundproof rooms. A little small the elevator, and uncomfortable access to the Reception with the flight of stairs.

Excellent service, very good location with a supermarket across the street. Lot of restaurants and shops. The metro is less than 5 minutes by walk, or you take bus 87 and takes you to the city centre. Tickets for transportation are sold in lobby. Pompi famous tiramisu is 10 minutes by walk.

Nice but small, the rooms are clean and because small very cozy. The breakfast is at the top and you have a very nice view of the Coloseum and the surrounding area (what to do) when you first become acquainted with the area and the subway, CA 5min is within walking distance, the whole city is at your disposal.

Hotel and the room very narrow and GRETA the receptionist was rude. The only good thing about it was the breakfast and the waiters.

This is a very beautiful and amazing place for family tour. Restaurant and bar are also looking very beautiful and amazing specially for buffet counter. Parking place is also good. And all staff are good behavior and helpful for anything else. Food quality is very good and food served is excellent.

Very nice hotel. Classic BW. Only problem: The lift is unique and not great. For breakfast (top floor) arm yourself with holy patience or go up early.

Accommodation is very good and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast is wide and varied and the waiters are outstanding. This is my fourth stay and would not hesitate to book again.

Very nice little hotel, even if it doesn't make much from the outside. Staff and service very friendly and attentive. The quite extensive breakfast for every taste is on the 8th floor with a wonderful panoramic view over Rome, also very good for orientation, better not really. The rooms are a bit small but top equipped and well kept, clean and always put on line daily. The hotel is located near St. Giovanni, a few minutes ' walk to U — Bahn line A. Over which you can quickly get to all the sights in the city centre, Termini station and farther Vatican without any change. Alternatively, there is a bus stop opposite the hotel with Line No. 87 to the right in front of the Colosseo, the connection to the city centre could not be better. Opposite the hotel there is a small pizza snack and a supermarket for a very cheap self-catering. And in addition to another evaluation, it should be mentioned that just before the subway station Giovanni in the direction of hotel is a small pizzeria in which we ate the pretty best pizza with salad including wine for under 25 EUR, which we would have never expected in quality. So gladly again immediately, even if the night at the hotel the water pipes sometimes have a bit noisy. We can only recommend the hotel…

Very happy with the service, competent and very friendly. Delicious breakfast, small cozy rooms. Good transport connections, well suited for a short trip. Tip, the view of the city is terrific from the 8th floor (breakfast room) and without any extra costs.

The staff is nice, the room are clean and the service is fair. The location hasn't much to offer but it is pretty close to the center of the city and close to public transport.

A three star hotel just a stone's throw from the center. Great for young couples, like me and my fiance, who want to spend adequately, enjoy good service in the hotel and visit walking the city. Located in a well-serviced neighbourhood, it is a short distance from Metro A, San Giovanni station. Exquisite the offer of the Intercontinental breakfast, served on the eighth floor. There you can delight your palate, trained from the panorama with a view from the top of Rome. I highly recommend it!

Very nice Hotel and suitable for couples of boyfriends who want to comfortably lodge and spend well. Central location, 5 minutes from Metro. The staff is nice and helpful. Highly recommended.

It was very nice and the staff were very helpful. It is a 5 minute walk from the Metro.

Obtained slightly higher category room since the one booked was not ready yet.
All in all an 8.5-9 deserved, valid also the price on 70-80 euros per night, also the festive period.

Lovely little hotel. Nice room, nice bathroom. Friendly, helpful staff. We stayed for three nights, breakfast was plentiful with both hot and continental food The hotel is a bit out of town but the metro is just a few minutes away and it takes you where ever you want to go. It's all walkable of you are fit and like to explore. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Small hotel very clean-close to public transport
The Piccadilly Hotel is part of the Best Western chain which is normally a guarantee of quality. The hotel is very small, as are the rooms but it is very clean. The employees are welcoming. The breakfast on the 8th floor with a view of the rooftops of Rome is very nice in the morning. The hotel is 500 meters from a metro station and right in front of a bus stop. It is not in the center, yet not far away… Only major drawback of our room: The total lack of soundproofing… We would have slept in the hallway, it would have been the same thing… it's really a pity, because normally sleep is meant to be restorative… but sleep was hard to find. Advantage: Free Internet in the room, just ask for the pass at the reception.

Fantastic hotel in a great residential district will within walking distance (25 mins for coliseum) of all the main attractions. Room was clean and well presented. Very accommodating staff and great breakfast every morning. Will happily return.

The staff were wonderful. The rooms were a good size considering where you're staying. I loved the free coffee, cappuccino, espresso machine.

Very nice hotel with some lovely local restaurants nearby. Convenient for the bus stop (right outside) and the Metro 500 metres away. The staff were very nice and extremely helpful. The Buffett breakfast was excellent. The rooms were clean and tidy with towels etc changed regularly. We couldn't fault it and if we return to Rome we will definitely return to the Piccadilly.

The hotel is in a slightly run down area of Rome. However it is very clean and efficient. The staff were excellent from check in to check out. I enjoyed the breakfast. The staff at breakfast were excellent, just right not too pushy. Just what I like in the morning. The coffee was hot. The single room was a little small. However it was adequate to sleep in which is all I did. If yo needed to work then I think it would be claustrophobic. The bathroom on the other hand was good and there was plenty of room in the shower.

Loved it, great hotel, nice, clean, great staff. Walking its about half hour to coliseum, bus and tram route right outside.

Good hotel and good breakfast.

The Hotel is situated as the predecessor described on a very busy street but the links are great, it is fast everywhere, Bus at the door and metro about 5 minutes walk and you are super fast at nice places, the Breakfast could be a little more variety but a nice Hotel with a great view from the Breakfast room in the 8th floor with views over Rome. So, loose money also value you can't complain about but because of the Breakfast offer, there are only 4 of 5 stars could really use more choice. Room bathroom nice so this is top Thank you for the beautiful days in Rome like we come back.

The hotel is on a busy street but therefore it comes easy to the city, bus line 87 and 360.

Stayed her for 3 nights in April 2008. Very friendly helpful staff who all spoke excellent english. Hotel in course of being refurbished although we stayed on 8th floor where suite a little "tired". Having said that room was clean and tidy excellent view over city. Traffic noise a constant "challenge" but to be expected in view of the hotel's convenience to bus and metro transport. Excellent english type breakfast — bacon and scrambled egg + variety of chesses, cold meats, cereals bread etc. Only down size was the lift — slow and could only take maximum 2 people. Hope lift will be included in refurb as only major downside to hotel. Liked the no charge safe in room as well as mini bar. Prices reasonable for Rome.
