Worst hotel I have ever been to, air conditioning not working properly, the bathroom has no door, the view of the room is so bad, elevator is so small and slow, and breakfast is so bad. in short half of the hotel is broken.

The staff was sort of friendy but unhelpful. Expect a room that has a AC, but out of order. A bathtub without plug, so just a shower. And a breakfast that is ok but not great. (Do not drink the coffee! ) Make sure you do not pay too much. Its not really worth it. I think of it more as a 2 star hotel than 3 stars. Overall. Ok-ish for one night but not a hotel to spend a week to experience Rome. Spend a bit more on that extra star.

Ridiculous rooms, small with small beds. The bathroom without bidet and in the shower there is not even the little door… So it flooded every time you shower. Breakfast buffet It's almost a Motel.

Never again. Can you sleep but everything was bad. Dissatisfied breakfast, staff mostly miss in mood, old rooms (dirty walls).

The rooms are small but snappy (rich to sleep). The bathroom was very clean and beautiful. Nice staff. Breakfast is also available. Not much, but it's enough.

Pleasant and welcoming, capable and helpful staff, a few minutes' walk from both the Colosseum and Termini. I'll definitely come back!

So far one of the worst hotels I have ever been. And all the reasons to say, so I provide below. 1. Everything starts in the hall, where you have to take the small elevator (only 3 people are allowed) to reach your room. There are only emergency stairs in the hotel. 2. Broken lights in a room which were not repaired after my complain. I was staying in the half-dark room. Why not? Darkness is the best friend of the youth. 3. The smell of the cigarettes. All the time. Even the room was for non-smokers 4. The sound of running water. I assume the walls are too thin and the pipes are too close. Imagine the loud sound of running water above your head. Good, that I am a tight sleeper. 5. Hole in the floor. You do not see it, but you feel it. 6. I had rather big and comfortable bathroom, but the shower section was also in half-darkness (weir position of lights in the bathroom). 7. Breakfasts. For the amount, I paid for the above-described room (110Eur/night) even the breakfast was upsetting. At least buns were tasty. Next time I book a hotel, I read 1000 review. Was rather bad experience for me. Hope, mine will be useful for those, who would think to book the room.

Convenient but expect a small room, little bed. The extreme basics. Still friendly and the location is ideal.

This hotel is terrible only good thing is location. But there are a lot of other hotels in the same area. The shower was either too hot or freezing no inbetween. Stayed in a triple room which didn't have proper beds they were like camp beds. The room walls were all marked and even though there check out time says 12pm they were knocking on the door from just after 9am for us to leave so they could clean. We had an extra 2 hour booked in the overall price which meant a 2pm check out. Unfortunately we had them knock up again a further two times and one call saying we need to leave. I was annoyed at this point so went to talk to the reception who said that they have a lot of bookings due. While at the reception the cleaners were still standing outside our room waiting for us to leave. Not a nice hotel doesn't deserve 3 stars I've stayed in plenty of 3 star hotels and guesthouses that were fabulous this however wasn't. The breakfast was also a joke cold tea and coffee every morning.

Very very very Bad Hotel. I never saw hotrl smell bad like this one and small bathroom ever. I had a baby and I couldn't wash her because we didn't fit 2. Bfast is bad, rooms are not the same like they are in the picture's. I had 2 rooms book with the price of near 900 and I didn't imagine this disaster. Is not a 3 star hotel.

Really bad! We have been twice and never again, dirty rooms, bathrooms without hot water, broken blankets and laundry. Really horrible.

Very good location (close to Colisso, Santa Maria Maggiore, Palazzio del Quirinalle, Termini Station and Metro). On Wide Avenue (not hidden). We liked the breakfast. Small and Discteto. Visited in 2011.

The hotel has a good location, the staff is polite and the amenities of the room is okay.
We had a room in the courtyard so you could sleep quite well with the window open. Exception: Others also had their window open, then they heard it echoed through the little yard. If you did not open the windows, you could see through the very thin walls and doors the conversations, steps, actions of the neighbors and coming along while you lay in bed. Furthermore, the Metro was heard and noticed (on the first floor). The beds were comfortable but not suitable for fülligere people, although it is also possible to get used to the narrow bed. The bathroom was a fright. Mold where you looked and the hair dryer was exposed to the cables. This was addressed directly the next day and the hair dryer was then exchanged directly. I partially removed the mould, so that the bathroom could be used to some extent. The breakfast was typical Italian: small sweet selection, however, there was a fault that the milk was often sour.
The hotel is relatively unobtrusive from the outside. If you come in, you come directly to the reception and directly behind it is the dining area. In front of the reception you will find an elevator with one of the three floors, which are occupied by a winding corridor along with rooms.
All in all, the hotel is suitable for a visit to Rome, but from me not exactly recommend and never again the destination of a trip.

Hotel room was tiny, and shower was barely large enough for a small child. Teenage students arrived after 11:30 PM on our first night and on the 2nd floor and filled up the rooms all around ours. The noise continued for at least 2.5 hours and the desk clerk would not allow a refund when we asked to check out due to the noise, doors slamming, loud conversation and knocking on doors.

They bring in noisy underaged guests who do not respect the night time. Poor insulation from street noise. The bed is on the floor, has no legs. Very small shower room. Out of date. Unhelpful staff, not willing to address problems with the noise. Try to leave but they would not give refund.

Three star hotel, what can you expect? But great and friendly service in the heart of Rome.

The place is just cute, the staff very friendly and helpful and the rooms not bad for a three star. The only flaw is that there are no stairs to be able to access the rooms, they are a lift from three people maximum, that every now and then with more than two people do not part for too much weight.

Our room was acceptable, but there were a lot of negatives. The shower was broken, so we had to take baths, which is not the best in the grimy Roman summer. The toilet only flushes sometimes. The AC seems to automatically turn off at night, so it can be quite uncomfortable trying to sleep. The room is the smallest one I've stayed in in Italy, especially for 3 people. However, the location is great, about a 5-10 minute walk from the train/bus/metro hub, and close to a lot of attractions. The hotel serves free breakfast which is nice. The bathroom is surprisingly pretty roomy, and it's the first bath tub I've seen since I've been here. There's free Wi-Fi which is nice. At the end of the day, it's a perfectly acceptable place to sleep.

Rooms were just ok… shower stand was much smaller than an airplanes tiolet. But room and bathrooms werent the same in all rooms. My friend got a room much bigger than mine. Also his room had a safe while mine didnt. Great location though.

Location located in a very convenient location, close to the Metro Cavour and close to Termini station. Let's say the hotel is not among the nicest and cleanest I have stayed in. The rooms are very small and there is a lot of room. A single lift, small, and that in times of great use you remain on the floor in an endless wait…

Rooms were a bit stinky and the fixtures were all nearly off or apart. The bed was clean, but that's about all. The hotel staff woke us at 8 one morning to turn over the room, and then did not clean the room at all the next day. The breakfast is included which is a nice bonus, but it is by no means good or even decent. Avoid the coffee. That all said, it is reasonably priced for the location and the rooms were clean — for a budget conscious traveler this is a hard combination to pass up.

In the heart of Termini. Good value for money.

Good hotel close to metro, and not to far to Termini Trainstation and Colosseum and other well known sights in City centre. Clean rooms and service is good. Breakfast could be a lot better. Wi-Fi ok in reception, but not in rooms.

In general has everything you need for a pleasant stay! The best is the location, very close to the Roman Coliseum! Somewhat tight shower, heating can fail in some rooms but not bad is dying, the breakfast is acceptable aunq not the varian!

Does not deserve a star. They gave us a room that was heard compressor air conditioning and every 5 minutes the metro passing below. Very poor hotel.

In rome it was an inesquediible holiday, along with valley hotel. Hotel is in the perfect and very romantic place, in a street near lo coliseu … recommending them …

Very old and dirty, we woke up at 5:30 in the morning (we had to catch the plane) and luckily I do not sleep more, we find 7/8 bed BUGS on the wall and two on the pillow, which I got to kill, full of blood. I put in a claim and there is nothing, only got the apology in a low voice of the receptionist.

Quite good for business trips, very close to merto not far from train station. Rooms clean. Breakfast could be better. TV's don't work in some rooms.

I have recently returned from 3 nights stay with my family, ceck-in 22 April and I feel it my duty to express my bad judgment about this hotel that advertises itself as 3 stars but in my opinion not worth nowhere near. Very clean, room walls smeared, the bath tight like a closet, no bidet and with dirty towels; in the fridge we found an ice cream cone melted into a glass left by previous clients. Heating/air conditioning not working; insufficient breakfast and served (so to speak) on a cramped room in the hotel lobby: the request for a cappuccino was told that the machine was not working. Also, during the night, we were without power for about an hour. In the morning the elevator was out of order, so we had to hand-carry our bags from the 3rd floor along the scale of emergency. For 3 nights we paid unfortunately 593 euros.

Only good thing was the location. The room smelled like sewers. Some rooms worse than others. One member of staff was very helpful the others we're obnoxious. I wouldn't return there.

First the positives: great location, 8 minute walk to Termini train and main bus station, 15 minute walk to ancient Rome sites. Hotel staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. Hotel Valle is one of 4 Hotels owned by the same group; it is the lowest cost of the four, and it shows. Rooms were small, beds and pillows old and uncomfortable, bathroom had consistent smell. There was no computer access available to the guests, although they did book one of our museum reservations for us with the front desk computer. Breakfast was very plain and got boring, especially after 6 days of the same thing. That said, if you don't spend many non sleeping hours there (as we did), it is an affordable way to get the most bang for your buck in Rome.

Boutique 3 star, renovated 2005. The Hotel Valle is a wonderful 3-star hotel situated in Via Cavour which is located in the heart of the historical center of Rome. All of the city’s most famous attractions are only minutes walk away including the Colosseum which is just around the corner. Furthermore, our hotel is well connected with the commercial and shopping district’s of Rome due to close proximity of the Metro Line B stop “Cavour” which is 50 meters away from the Hotel Valle. The hotel contains 40 guest rooms all of which are equipped with air conditioning, central heating, satellite t. V. Private en-suite bathroom etc. The Hotel Valle was completely renovated in 2005 thus restoring this traditional 18th century Italian Palazzo into an oasis of comfort and coziness. Both leisure and business clientele mingle at ease in the warm and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel.
