It’s a BEAUTIFUL hotel! Each room was different that our group stayed in and each room was beautifully decorated. What’s even better is it’s right in the central area near lots of attractions and we all were able to walk to and forth. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful and directed us to things we should see and do and restaurants to try. I would recommend this hotel most diffidently!

Location is fantastic! Hotel is a little tired in decor in rooms but clean. Great Welcome from the main desk & always helpful. Breakfast a little disappointing.

Hotel de 4 estrellas pero nada que ver con un 4 estrellas de España. Pero así son los hoteles en Roma. Importantísima la ubicación, muy céntrico, al lado del monumento a Emmanuel y el Foro Romano. También muy importante la limpieza, a pesar de ser un hotel muy antiguo, está limpio y el personal es amable y atento.

This should not be listed as a 4 star hotel because it is in need of extensive maintenance and the air conditioning systems are filthy. We had to change rooms because there was mould in our bathroom and there was also mould in our second room as well. We were told this is normal! They have very low standards.

Great service, very friendly staff, breakfast for king's and you are 5mins from all monuments! Best way to enjoy your Rome.

Worst hotel ever. a/c broken at 35c outside the TV did not work management (sergey and giusepe) just did not care. They knew that a/c was not working when we checked in. In fact they lied that the a/c was not working because there was an issue in the whole area. Other guests had the same issues when I met them in the lobby. do not book the hotel. Forget the location. It is just not worth it. This is not a 4 star hotel. It is a 1 star hotel.

First room old and worn. Not like web site photos. New room worn but closer to photos. Website said parking. No parking a 3 min walk and an additional fee. Laying here dying in their poor excuse for an air Conditioner. Location good.

Spent three nights here and it met our expectations. It was in a great location and value. The hotel itself had wonderful charm. The breakfast had a good variety of items — and — you will enrich your experience if you chat up the staff — this place has great personality.

Classic Hotel. You can't expect much from this hotel. The only thing that has fantastic is the location. 5 min walk to the Colosseum and forum. Old rooms. Half-comfortable beds. Bathroom very nice and clean. We had breakfast included and I really didn't like it at all. But well, I said, the only good thing about the hotel is its location.

It has charm to maintain a classic aesthetic, but there are some of the furniture that should renovate, like the sofa beds in which it is impossible to sleep, refrigerators that do not cool… The thermostat's not working. It is not very accessible for handicapped people, despite having an elevator (very old) there are some steps to climb at the entrance and on some floor. Friendly staff. The breakfast was very nice.

Nice hotel slightly dated in the center of Rome located in strategic position x the tourist. You can get comfortably on foot from Termini station and there is neceddità to use public transportation to go and visit the major attractions of the city. Nice and spacious room (good thing there isn't that awful carpet on the floor! ) with a few details to review. Safe in the closet. TV with Sky. The bathroom in our room recently renovated with a nice shower: too bad there is no bidet. We are in Italy and not abroad! For a 4 star then! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite rich. They accept dogs but they cannot access the dining area. Recommended.

The location of the perfect hotelces to visit Rome as it is located in the very center of it, so the places of interest to visit are very close. On the contrary, as far as the hotel itself is concerned, it is very old and very dereriorado; Considering it's a four star.

The Hotel is in a very good location. The entrance and the lobby are imposing, with marble columns, Ancient Rome-style statues, paintings, all quite kitsch but still of effect. The problem is that the whole structure gives the idea of needing maintenance and restoration, from stucco on walls, to fixtures, to end up in the rooms themselves. In my opinion the four stars, definitely deserved in the past, do not match the current conditions of the hotel.

Good location, but noisy. That your hotel in the restricted driving zone, and even discount parking will not compensate you for all problems with Rome police. If you want to stay in Rome historical center, you should look for hotel that will provide permit to drive to the hotel door to unload a luggage. They didn't provided this permit for me.

The room we stayed in had a dirty carpet and scruffy walls, it's noisy and the breakfast was ok but the coffee was horrible. It's in a good central location, the shower was leaking and was hot and cold and the furniture in the room was broken… this is not a 4 star hotel. It's average.

Beautiful experience, cozy room, very professional staff! Also welcomed my dog of great size! Great breakfast Near the Roman Forum and the Colosseum.

Nice hotel at the centre of city. All tourist places 10-15 min away. You have daily room service. Free Wi-Fi n morning breakfast. 24 hour reception and they do know English.

Professional and friendly people, delighted with housekeeping in the room, took care of all the details.

A great deal for what feels like a five star hotel! Rooms are spacious, beds are massively comfy, and truly, waking up across from the Trajan market every morning cannot be understated! Staff are lovely and friendly and for a sight seeing holiday I couldn't imagine a better base :)

Hotel located in a very good position at two steps but all the major attractions of Rome the column of Traiano, the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia. Unfortunately given the nearby location a very busy street, the rooms facing the main entrance are very noisy at night. Good free Wi-Fi available Breakfast enough friendly staff is helpful. If you drive the state will help you get the permits for the ZTL in Rome.

Location — amazing! A few streets away from coleseum Rooms — clean and functioning. The only thing that is a bit different is the beds are quite hard rather than soft Service — all the people who work there speak brilliant English and are very helpful Extra note — there is a lovely bar outside and to the left called "the public house". It has some outside seating and very nice lager.

Air conditioning is an issue here! However the Reception an Concierge are very helpful.

Great basic hotel in the middle of the archeological area of Rome. Short walk to Piazza Venezia and the Colosseum so very convenient for sight-seeing. I am rating this high because of location and convenience as the room decor is very dates and the air conditioning and bathrooms need a bit of an upgrade. Would likely stay here again just for the location.

We stayed 3 nights and couldn't be more pleased. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They speak good english and offer you great advices about things to do around. Our room was super clean, big enough and it always smelled nice, which is a huge plus for me. I would definitely recommend it and stay here also next time.

4-Star nothing. 2 at the most. There are no racks in the bathrooms in the rooms. Very impersonal rooms. Very very poor breakfast (plastic cups and chocolate reduced with water * attached photos) ). — There is not a stand in the bathroom. The rooms are very poor, no pictures, no decoration, … The Breackfast is very very basic.

A very good location! The monuments are within walking distance (the Trevi fountain the Pantheon Navona Vittorino the Capitol the Coliseum) The staff are very friendly. The hotel is in an old style as well as the room. In our there was a pipe problem a few times it smelled a bit. I would say that the hotel is mediocre for a 4 star but its main asset is well its location.

For the location I give it a 7… very very good location. The monumental sites are all on foot. The visit there night a must! Room 302 is to be renovated. The pipe is to be redone, some electrical plugs HS. But this hotel has a special charm adorned with low relief and noble materials.

Closet size room. Attitude from the front desk. Hotel claims to be a 4 star. Not even close to a 3 star. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Willing to trade room size for a perfect central location? Then Hotel Traiano is perfect for you then. The staff were always exceedingly understanding and attentive, the breakfast included was well presented, and the location is practically dead center for all of the major sites of Roma. If you are a light sleeper try for a room pointing to one of the side roads instead of the main drag, but otherwise it is a great hotel for the price.

Always a good experience. Have stayed here many times. NOT luxurious, but comfortable and an easy walk to just about everything you want to see. Cool little pub in the alley behind the hotel.

Even one point is still too good for this "Hotel". Very unfriendly; bad, dirty, broken rooms and totally overpriced prices. No Concession to be expected, including Rauschmiss. Rather then sleeping in his car! Absolutely not recommended!

Is not 4-star or chance. And though they say, q in Rome you can't expect much from the hotels I feel cheated. Or the room was very nice (not to upload images q are not). Maybe it once was, but today x today is very come to less. And I'm not pretentious.
