Great staff, 5* service, great location, great food (all meals), great rooms!

The location of this hotel makes it ideal for walking around the area; to catch a Hop on Hop off bus, near the Colosseum or to jump on a bus right outside the hotel. Although small, we enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar / bistro area both during the day and in the evening.

Great position, near the Colosseum. Rooftop. Pool! Everyone friendly and helpful. One negative is the silly column in the middle of the room. Good Aircon, and near decent, cheap shops and restaurants across the road.

Very good location and view of the colosseum from the rooftop restaurant and bar. Rooms are typical of many European hotels so kind of smallish by American standards, but very modern and comfortable decor. Breakfast is well done and served from 6:30 for those that wish to get an early start.

Excellent hotel all round. Brilliant location, about 20 mins just from the main centre. Lovely looking at the colosseum from the rooftop bar! Staff always friendly and provide great tourist information with no trouble :) would highly recommend!

I know directly their terrace, for having been there during their musical evenings with open buffet. All organized at best, great buffet offer great service bar spectacular view. A note of merit to the guys on the terrace, Andrea, Alessio, Maurizio and the whole team.

Fantastic hotel, nice rooms and great air-con. Staff were extremely friendly on welcome and even gave a welcome gift for our birthdays! Would definetly stay here again!

Wife and I loved this hotel. Great view from rooftop pool, excellent breakfast buffet but a fairly small room (didn’t bother us since we were always out). Fairly close to the metro which is super cheap to take to the bus station, Vatican, Trevy Fountain, etc.

Very good hotel right in the centre… with more and very big plus a pool … The hotel restaurant is top notch… (just perfect pork tomahawk) and staff at the top…

Modern Accor hotel within walking distance to sight seeing. Room was clean but unusual layout with shower one end of room and toilet the other end. Disappointment was the tea/coffee as two paper cups per day limit. Friendly staff. Raw cold hamburger returned as a health risk. Cook reluctant to take back. No response.

Fantastic location and the staff are excellent! The room was of a good size, with espresso machine, robes, slippers and stocked mini fridge included in our price. On a night flight home the hotel kindly held our cases whilst we spent the last day exploring and called a private taxi to drop us at the airport. We managed to walk from the hotel to the Vatican museums in under an hour. We stayed for 5 days but the hotel is comfortable enough for longer visits. Will be staying here again on the next trip to Rome.

Great hotel, right next to the Colosseum of Rome. The rooms are tidy and well arranged. Rooms may vary between €250 — €550 per night. The breakfast is excellent and there is a variety of choices. It just lacks a can more storage in the bathroom, no shelf.

Location Panorama from the roof terrace on the rooftops of San Giovanni and the Colosseum. At sunset and in the evening really a great beauty!

The park makes you want. There is a need for maintenance.

I've stayed here in the past and had no problems whatsoever. The room is a standard European size. We had two twin beds and it was fine since we weren't in the room all that much. The bathroom was fine as well and found it very adequate. Very clean everyday and the roof deck is fantastic! When in Roma, get out and about! I chose this hotel for the location and it couldn't have been better. Lots of food options two blocks across the street in a neighborhood that wasn't touristy. Metro is about a 5-7 minute walk and the tram comes right by the hotel. Request a room on the park (back) side of the hotel.

The rooms are clean but very small. Opened the door-a bed. And that's it. The room is over. But on the terrace a beautiful view of the Coliseum! The breakfasts are average.

Very nice hotel although the rooms are a bit small. On the other hand, industrial breakfast. It is urgently necessary to buy a toaster that grills the bread and vary the dishes served.

This hotel is very nice. All the staff is friendly and the breakfast that is included is delicious! You can quickly walk down to the Colosseum. The roof has a pool and bar with a view of the Colosseum. It's a beautiful place to stay to see Rome!

Older boutique hotel. Has been renovated since. However when I stayed here the paint/ furnishings were fresh, and the smell gave me a non-stop headache.

Bistro Restaurant on the ground floor of the Mercure Hotel near the Colosseum, a tourist destination, a comfortable and modernly furnished room, friendly and helpful staff, a very small menu with a few interesting proposals with poor Enhancement of the fish apart from the starter, few but good wine labels, sweets and fruit of character with interesting variants. Very good value for money Easy parking in the side street of the hotel. Very interesting the promos with the Tripadvisor Forke. Absolutely needed the reservation.

Hotel good. Restaurant poor. Serving a burger in a bun without some potato product on the side is not a meal. Were never asked about our meal & customer service non-existent. Stay in the hotel, but eat elsewhere.

We are conquered by this hotel which offers a magnificent view on the Colosseum. The brunches are plentiful, the services offered interesting (ironing, housework…) and the rooms are not very large but not uncomfortable. On the other hand the dishes offered in room services completements disappointed us. You better go eat at the nearby restaurants.

We are staying at this place for 5 nights and 2 down all good. Room clean and tidy, bed comfy and fresh, bath modern and clean. Breakfast loads of options but not much cooked though but can get away with. Though, the swimming pool is closed, it's alright as it's really cold here. Location is just on the edge of colessium and withing walking distance of Rome forum and loads of places to visit. Great till now.

Nice hotel for a business trip. Clean and elegant. Nice and helpful staff. Food is ok but not great, it could be better. Over all, it was a nice stay, close to main Rome attractions and very close to the Subway station.

The Coliseum was three minutes away! We saw him out the window! And through the rooftop terrace!
The hotel offered us a bottle of sparkling for our honeymoon. It was an unforgettable experience!
Everything in the hotel was perfect and magical as we had hoped!

Nice, on the top floor there is the pool and the view of the Colosseum. I did not visit the rooms.

Very good location. The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent.

Small rooms but service impeccable and comfortable. It is a bit cold in the bathroom but the stay was still very good.

I have given 2 stars for the country club not the hotel itself. The bar is of 4.5* staff very helpful and friendly and food excellent. Most staff in the leisure centre area are helpful and friendly. The classes and choice of classes also excellent. However, the cleanliness and state of the ladies changing area and showers are in much need of updating and refurbishment. Very disappointing. The pool area is also in need of an update. Please bear in mind that the leisure centre is owned seperate to the hotel. As far as I know and what I see of the hotel this is of 4* quality.

Great hotel for City trip. To reach all walking distance. No real restaurant But the small snacks on the rooftop terrace are delicious because freshly prepared before your eyes. Proper restaurants in the area are plentiful.

Very centrally located with bus on the doorstep! In the hot midday time you can lie at the cool pool and enjoy the wonderful view!

Rooms are small but clean & adequate (and note the pole as mentioned in other reviews. ) The architecture is truely baffling — is seems the objective was to maximally detract from the outstanding location that the hotel has to offer! My real issue however is the 4 star rating — the hotel services are simply not up to this standard. Don't get me wrong, the staff are generally very good, but they simply don't have 4 stars worth of services to offer guests! If you base your decision on this being a 3 star hotel, then if you're ok with the price, you'll be happy. On the other hand, if you're needing (expecting) 4 star services and 4 star rooms, you'll probably be a little underwhelmed. Some specific 3 versus 4 star issues are as follows: plastic and paper glasses and cups in rooms rather than glass/ceramic, inability to exchange currency, basic standard of daily room servicing (rubbish not emptied, empty bottles not removed), breakfast quality.

Average hotel. Pleasant staff who speak English well. Rooms are quite small and watch out for the giant pillar — we had one 10 inches from the side of the bed, which made getting in and out a challenge. Lovey roof top terrace and pool but unfortunately it closes end September. Close to Colosseum but quite a walk from everywhere else of interest.

Stunning location with views of the colosseum which is within walking distance. Roof top bar/restaurant including pool is just what you need to relax and take a dip to cool off after sight seeing! Hop on hop off bus tour reasonable prices and 5 mins walk, we saw all of Rome that we came for and some! Staff were polite and friendly, room is compact but only there to sleep… I have food allergies and the staff were amazing in accommodating me, I never went hungry! Only down fall with our room with colosseum room was the road which can get noisy at times xx.

Breath taking views from rooftop pool and bar, the staff are all very helpful and friendly. The hotel is perfectly situated to get around all the usual tourist hotspots. The room we had is clean and has all the mod cons you expect. They are the size you expect from any city hotel.

Staff front office charming and trying to restore the situation caused by a blatant lack of professionalism of the other members of the hotel. Rooms small and not very sharp, breakfast heartbreaking simplicity not to say more.

Great location, pleasant modern rooms, rooftop swimming pool (with view of the colosseum, very rare to have a pool in Rome) great staff, only quibble was food is not great and it's very expensive for drink, a beer is €8. Location wise it's literally a few hundred metres from the colosseum.

An ideal place to (RE) discover Rome! Well-located, comfortable, well-connected (tram and bus) and well equipped (bar, restaurant, panoramic terrace and swimming pool, parking…), it also has a friendly and quite efficient staff. Certainly the building is not beautiful, the common areas are a bit antiquated, the rooms a little small and the service of the breakfast quite easily overwhelmed, but the places and the view of Rome, plus the positive points stated above, make forget all this.

Great location Classy, L ideal for aperitifs with friends but also for more demanding things, like business meetings. A few steps from the Colosseum, in a nice neighborhood in short, well connected by public transport. Highly recommend.

The location is good, the rooftop pool offers a wonderful view. Small room. For the rest, it's pretty average for the standing. Note that there is a tram stop 3 right outside the hotel.

Stay here to have a great location in relation to the coloseum. Rooms are rather small and cramped but with adequate facilities. Roof top pool and bar is the killer attraction for this hotel. Great service staff — super helpful.

Room was very noisy, even with screen pulled all the way down. Elevators were small, but room was large for European country, and breakfast was good.

Accorhotels hotel with 77 rooms on 7 floors near the Colosseum. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and furnished with a pleasant modern décor, usually not too large (except the 101 I've tried during the last Roman stay, really great). Spectacular view from the terrace on the 8th floor with bar open till midnight and swimming pool open from May to September. Taking into account the location isn't too expensive for a four star hotel. Suitable for couples or business trips.

Great staff, always nice and helpful. Amazing breakfast, with ultra-delicious croissants. Great espresso, which is not so easy to find across Eternal City. Light in the rooms could be brighter, it is too economic for the money we left there. And the swimming pool at the roof… hilarious.

This is an amazing hotel with excellent views of the colloseum. Comfortable and relaxing with friendly staff. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is that there is no evening restaurant located within the hotel.

Here is a great discovery. Reasonable price, perfect location, walk a few steps to the main historic attractions. Is the Foundation of the room, but clean and stylish. Staff super friendly, very helpful. Colosseum in Rome, can enjoy views of the rooftop restaurant for breakfast as long as 8 euros. Started in Rome in this way every day how wonderful! The cold pool is kind of Gladiator level, but briefly cool off and make you calm or wake can be!

Had some issues with my room needed a double instead of single and they wanted me to book 2 separate rooms for my husband and I! I don't think so. We were able to work something out with me having to insist but staff was nice about it. Just couldn't believe they wanted me to book 2 rooms! RESTAURANT SERVED ROTTEN HARD BOILED EGGS FOR BREAKFAST! Dis colored, foul smelling eggs served! Disgusting! We told server she pulled eggs from buffet. We told front desk who didn't apologize just kept saying ok ok ok… Will be contacting Accor. The location is good close to metro station but not many good restaurant options in the area. I would not stay here again.

Beautiful hotel. Nice rooms and good home. A negative point, however: the lack of restaurant on the spot if one omits the small bar. For a hotel of this class it is exaggeration. It has a connecting room either which is not convenient for families.

Decently priced and recently renovated which means that you get a clean, modern and functional place to stay. Right next to the Colosseum so in the heart of the major sights. Don't bother with the food though as it's both expensive and not very tasty.

Central hotel — it's two stops from the main train station — with clean rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is very good, and includes gluten-free, and organic options. Good value for money.

Right next to a busy road, with lots of noise right through the night. Drab interiors. However for the price, you do get a very central location.
