It is our 3rd time in Rome and always stay in Fori Imperiali Cavalieri because it is special. The staff is always friendly and helpfull. It is always a good experience.

Unbelievable that, literally across the street with in an easy walk is a amphitheater, the Coliseum which after a 1, 000 years still stands, and this not so old hotel can not supply hot water. First day here we ventured out and took in some sights, had dinner then came back for a shower before bed. Wife showered, then I went… to have nothing but cold water. Desk staff said wait it will come back, after awhile the hot water went from cold to just a little cold. Second night we showered before going to dinner, and was ok. Third night… around 8:30-9pm, no hot water for wife, just enough like warm for me to quickly rinse off. Staff… is GREAT! Hotel infrastructure may need some updating to be considered amongst modern rivals.

Just spent five days here celebrating my 65th birthday. A perfectly situated hotel for exploring Rome with wonderfully friendly staff who made our visit extra special. I highly recommend Hotel Fori Imperiali Cavalieri and hope we can visit again.

Excellent concierge service. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd just say the tub is very small and uncomfortable. I'd recommend it to all my acquaintances anyway. The location is very good! Only 200 or 300 meters from the Colosseum.

This place was right next to the most important locations and the staff was incredibly helpful. I have already recommended this hotel to anyone I know traveling to Rome.

Just spent 4 nights at the hotel with my wife to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Couldn't have'd wished for a better place to stay to see the sights, all within walking distance. Staff we're all friendly and efficient, rooms comfy and air conditioned, excellent buffet breakfast, and enough eating establishments within 5 minutes walk to suit all tastes and good value for money.

Very good location in close proximity to the metro and coliseum. Great variety at breakfast. Comfortable facilities. A little hidden but easy to location. Very friendly and superior friendly staff. The price is not within the cheapest. It has an elevator.

Just back from a 6 night stay at this hotel. Our stay was very comfortable and convenient. The hotel is located just two minutes from the Colosseum and the metro. It was an ideal location for visiting all major tourist attractions. The hotel is tucked down a typical Italian alley way. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice variety of cereals, fruit, yogurt waffles and other pastries. The hotel room walls are a bit thin so you can hear noise from people coming and going. Many restaurants only five minutes walk away. Overall we definitely stay again.

Hotel tucked away down a side street so nice and quiet, room compact but adequate, breakfast very good, reception slow but effucient and staff helpful. I agree with the comment about the shower, I am not large but only just squeezed into it when the doors were fully open and the temperature was difficult to control. The other negative is the room door blocks no sound out so you get woken up each time someone gets in late or leaves early (not great). All other factors were very good and worked well. Breakfast had a great selection, eggs, bacon, yoghurts, breads, cheese, ham, pastries that were to die for and as much coffee and tea as you needed. A couple of nice restaurants just outside the hotel as the hotel only provided breakfast.

The location just around the corner from the Colosseum and train station was perfect for us, also plenty of shops and restaurants close by. The breakfast was great with the best coffee. Reception was extremely helpful and speaks English. Our room was a little small but not a problem as it had a great balcony.

Small well equipped hotel next to the Colosseum. Great breakfast and nice terrace on the roof in summer. Poorly insonorisees rooms.

A little gem of a place with all the sightseeing buildings etc within easy reach. Good food, friendly staff, and very clean make for an enjoyable stay. I highly recommend it. Oh forgot to mention, it's also the cheapest place in Rome for light refreshments.

Exceptionally friendly staff. We stayed there as a last minute resort after another booking fell through and found the hotel charming. Rooms were clean, and breakfast was great. Reasonable price and location was incredible! I would defiantly stay there again.

The hotel is so well placed! The price is low given its location, very clean and the personal very nice.

It all depends on what you are looking for… Ideal for a citytrip of 3 days/2 nights. The rooms are small, the bathrooms just as much but it's enough if you are looking for a nice place to spend two or three nights. Nothing to complain about hygiene.

Excellent location. The rooms are very bright and spacious as well as being in order and with great cleanliness. I recommend it to Chiinque want to make a stop a few days. Very nice and thoughtful staff complete the picture and give that extra touch that pushes a customer back.

I spent two weeks in December 2017 and they were the best. One reason for that was because of how my family and I were treated at Hotel Fori Imperiali Cavalieri. They are attentive and extremely friendly. They are very welcoming. They keep your room clean and breakfast there is good. You’ll always be greeted in the morning and asked if you want a cappuccino! Hotel Fori Imperiali Cavalieri is my go-to hotel every time I visit Rome. Btw, it’s literally around the corner from the Roman Colosseum! — San Francisco, Ca.

Hotel is approx 2 km from central railway Station. I'll not recommend for walking from railway Station especially with luggage. However it is very close to colosseum. Rooms are extremely small with antique furniture. Furniture in the room occupied by me was broken. Breakfast menu options were also limited. It is a small hotel. Rated poor food type of rooms & breakfast food.

If you want to sleep in a central location in Rome (the Roman Forum and the Colosseum in close proximity) and if you would like to have a gluten-free breakfast, here is the best.

Great location (1 minute from the Colosseum, 15 minutes from the Trevi Fountain). Lovely staff Very good breakfast and very clean room as well as comfortable beds.
It is located in a quiet alley and at the corner of Cavour Street (where there are walking, restaurants and glaciers). Free Wi-Fi connection but not powerful (at the same time it is not Rome for FB). Value for money very good! I would definitely recommend!

Superior room in this historical hotel's building was spacious, roof's terrace was charming, staff was very helpful, cappuccino one of the best. 20 min from Termini and 3 min from Colosseum on foot. Many interesting cafes nearby. We lost valuable item in the evening and cleaning staff found it through the day. Thank you for your hospitality and the windowsill's flowers-nice touch!

This hotel is ideal in every respect! Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, something for every taste, always fresh melons — and pineapple pieces, yogurt, pastries… best coffee in all variations…
Pretty rooftop terrace with a view of the real Roman life. Nice reception, clean rooms with daily linen change. There are larger and smaller rooms, as well as a large or small bathroom, sometimes with shower, sometimes with shower and bathtub, with a view to the courtyard or to the small street, with balcony or terrace or without… you just have to express his wishes! The single room is really small, I always had a double room as a single.
Near two corners of the Fori Imperiali Street, on the left you see the Colosseum, on the right the Vittoriano — monument, ideal for a abentlichen stroll. The road is Z. Z. Closed for transit traffic, only buses drive. Bus stop and Metro nearby, restaurants, shops and a pharmacy and the post Office also.
Of course there is Wi-Fi, TV (only Italian, but also sky) safe and fridge.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic hotel, with great staff and quality breakfast. The place is in a prime location for the Colloseum, which is a short walk away. Great for summer visits due to inbuilt air conditioning. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you Fori Imperiali. You've helped our stay in Rome to be a great experience. Room was very nice and comfortable. Location was excellent: two minutes from the colosseum. And your staff was very helpful as well. Specially the lady at the reception desk, the gentleman that carried our very heavy suitcases to the 3rd floor, and the couple in charge of breakfast. You guys were awesome!

Great hotel for the price. A stone's throw away from several ancient roman attractions (most notably the colosseum). 2 stops south of the main Roma Termini metro station. Included breakfast has friendly staff which prepares coffee to your liking (cappuccino, espresso, americano etc). Wide variety of breakfast choices included pastries, breads, dinner rolls, cheese, cereals, water/fruit flavoured juices. Wifi is available, it does the job it it isn't the fastest. However, I was able to do all of the searching I needed to do, browse facebook, and watch youtube, fairly reliably. The room I was in (double bed) was a bit cramped but it was okay. I stayed at nights and explored most days. For the price it was worth it. The bathroom is tidy and well stocked (towels, toiletries etc. ). It was cleaned after my first night and fresh towels provided. Room service also took care of my bedding just fine alongside this. The TV was very small but I didn't use it. That may matter to some people, it didn't to me. Overall for it's price, location, ease of access to the metro station, and the fact that it is surrounded by the main street and several good looking pizzerias, I can't fault it. I would recommend a stay for sure, particularly for those who just want to use it to sleep at night and freshen up in the morning. If you're on your honeymoon and want something more extravagant however, the room itself may not live up to your expectations. The location though, golden.

The location is great, in the sense that it's pretty close to the Colosseum and other attractions, as well as the subway. But it's in a small alleyway and it was difficult to find. My room is small, the AC doesn't work, and the showers are really tiny. If I was any fatter, I wouldn't be able to get through the shower door. Breakfast wasn't bad, but I would suggest you go out and get something local instead. When I returned to the hotel around 9PM, I noticed some new guests stranded in the lobby because there wasn't anyone at the front desk to check them in. Overall, an ok stay.

Conveniently located within walking distance of the Colosseum and the Imperial Forum. A little further away the altare della patria and the Capitol. Very close to metro station and piazza Venezia. Very clean and functional. Very good breakfast. Last but not least, helpful staff.

I have stayed here many times (although not since last year) and hope to return in the spring. The cavalieri has a perfect location near the colosseum and the forums, yet is also close to a metro stop for getting to st peter's and the vatican. Rooms are clean and tidy, breakfast is good and the staff are all very friendly.

Hotel located close to the Colosseum, the Imperial forums and the public transit stops. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only drawback: our room was a little small though.

Hotel Fori Imperiali Cavalieri is located in a strategic position, near the Colosseum and convenient to take the subway. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is great! The staff are very friendly and helped us with suggestions and tips for shooting for Rome.

All was clean staff was nice but room was very small, location is great. And I would return. Just maybe alarger room. The breakfast was ok just not use to lunch meat in the morning.
