Staff was kind and friendly and the location is very close to a metro station (Metro line C). Otherwise, it was certainly not my favorite hostel/hotel stay. There was only one key for a four-person mixed dorm room which was weird. Bathroom wasn't terribly clean and no soap to wash your hands, but that doesn't appear to be out of the ordinary at hostels for some reason. Last negative thing is that they were doing some pretty loud construction outside the door early in the morning. That being said, the hosts were very helpful with any questions we had for our stay in Rome.

A staff with little care, they are very welcoming and very smiling. The small garden is very nice for breakfast or to get some fresh air after a hot day in Rome. The small downside is that there is no air conditioning and the fan unfortunately does not do the trick on summer nights. But that said I won't hesitate to go back for the service and warm welcome.

The hosts were very helpful in giving us extensive info about the city and were always available. The Wi-Fi service was great. Rooms clean! the bathrooms available… didn't try the breakfast though. The place isnt too far from the city centre by walk it is about 20mins. If u prefer to not walk, there are frequent buses, bus 81 and 54 that can get u literally anywhere.

The reception people are absolutely amazing, and are willing to help with you with anything you may have. They can show you where to find good ice cream, which bus to take to get to the next stop, or where to have your clothing washed cheap. Super friendly, and will explain it to in a clear way for anyone to understand. Best place I stayed at so far when travelling!

Excellent service for a hotel in this price range. However, the shower was incredibly small and had a tendency to spontaneously scald you every other minute, and there was no AC. For the price, though, I would definitely stay here again. The front desk was very helpful throughout my stay.

I slept one night in a room of 4. The staff is extremely welcoming: a coffee is offered as soon as they arrive and in the morning. The rooms are in the basement, which is certainly not the happiest place to sleep, although the room still had two windows and a ceiling fan. The garden is very pleasant after a summer day in Rome. The area is very quiet. The Pigneto, a pretty redeveloped area with locals, is less than a 10-minute walk away. The property is not the best but I would definitely go back.

Very cozy Place where the hosts are very attentive.
It Seems to be retired from the center, although due to bus and Metro communications they make it a better option to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the Roman swarm.
Clean Rooms and a lush garden where breakfasts are the best way to start the day.

It's worth the price you pay for your stay here though the place is not so comfortable but you will be pleased by their services.

Our family was very satisfied here during our February holiday. We stayed here with our little baby girl a there was no problem, very kindless and helpful staffs, reception desk all day, small but tidy room, good location near city centre and good price.

A very good value for money. The staff are lovely and always listening to you. The beds are comfortable though a bit old. The insulation is not always at the appointment during the day but at night it is not cold, it is the essential not? The bath towels and the shampoo are not included what I find a pity. I attriburai the 5 star rating the next time I come and when they are included! Thanks again for the Welcome! :)

Cheap Hotel 2 stars but not for this little comfortable, on the contrary, simple rooms and very comfortable beds, the bathroom is really clean and nice, breakfast included plentiful if you consider the cost of the room, mine was a quadruple and the breakfast was Actually for four people although my youngest daughter is only 2 years old, the strong point however is the kindness of the staff, it seems to stay in the family, maximum availability for any type of problem or request, recommended, I would go back Gladly.

Clean rooms, staff very nice and always available, reception open 24h and all this at a very low price. Also the good location, 20 minutes by bus from the Colosseum.

Super friendly staff, almost beyond belief. Location is okay, easy to get into the city but not the most beautiful part of the city. The rooms are pretty decent and the shared shower is decent. Warm water and a powerful spray which is a bit of a luxury in cheap hostels.

Extra point for the hospitality and how helpful the hosts at reception are. The location is also good with easy access to public transport to the historic sites and Termini station. The room we stayed is quite small and it is perfect if you travel with not much of a luggage as space is limited. Bathroom small. Overall if you look for a budget place to crush while in Rome Lodi is a good choice, we were there during the week between Christmas and New year and all the other places in Rome I checked were heavily overpriced.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Gave a lot of information on sightseeing, suited to your interests, and how to get around with transport. Although I was hoping to stay longer, I had to leave at sudden notice — — they were very understanding of the emergency and waived the last minute cancellation fee! Hope to visit again soon :)

A neat simple hotel with basic accommodation. However, it's clean and the staff really makes a huge difference. They were very friendly and helpful with giving us input and suggestions to make the most of our stay in Rome. I would definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again myself, next time in Rome.

Staff were all brilliant. Ali, in particular was a fun, friendly and very welcoming host. His advice was superb and he saved us a lot of too-ing and fro-ing while getting about in Rome. His English skills are extremely good and we had no trouble at all chatting to him about any detailed information we needed. The building has lots of history and character. The courtyard garden, with abundant fruit trees is just lovely and a perfect place to chill. The breakfast coffee and basket of goodies was a great start to our days there. Our stay at Hotel Lodi was a happy one — with lots of great memories. Thanks!

Good place to stay at Rome. Quite close to Coloseum, and a great pizza behind the aqueduct. Clean, cosy with small garden, where you can eat breakfast. Best value!

Staff is very nice and location is decent. This seems to be a family oriented place so don't expect any parties or much socializing.

Staff are very helpful, and knowledgeable. They helped us figure out bus routes to take to go where we wanted to, and also helped us plan our trip. The location is really close to a bus stop that takes you all the way to the cool sightseeing places. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well, to eat. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

Staff was very helpful in getting around the city and friendly but the hostel was small hard to meet people and a little dirty.

The staff was the most helpful I've ever had! The bed wasn't the most comfortable though.

Great Metro station C, currently temporary terminus of the line. The stop and well attached to line in in fact is just 700 metres from Metro station Re di Roma in a nearly straight path. Also the stop is a good access to the neighbourhood Appio — St. John but also a link to the Casilina and ferrovia Roma-Centocelle (Giardinetti) via stop Ponte Casilino.

Great place to stay, excellent service and very clean place.
With good transport nearby, to go to all the sights and attractions of Rome.

Low budget hotel. You would be happier if you kept that in mind. Pros: low cost, in a fine neighborhood, clean, helpful staffs except the one in charge of the check-in. Cons: simple breakfast — continental breakfast without eggs, small bathroom, only two outlets in the whole room, interior is aged, poor water control in shower — people got burned or shock during shower. The Wi-Fi was very very slow. More suitable for 1 or 2 travellers.

An excellent reception. Very good tips for visits and travel. The comfort of the rooms is OK. The substantial garden for breakfast, but even though it is a little out the hotel is noisy.

Little hotel, like a hostel to say the truth, but a very quite place, nice place. One of the best low price hotels i've ever been.

Lovely hotel, reasonable price, quite place.

A bit out of the way, and the mosquitoes were killer, but the staff was awesome. Incredibly friendly while I was there, and incredibly helpful with the planning of my exploration of the rest of the city.
