Elevator was too old and slow but works fine. No tv. Otherwise fine so I like this hotel. Affordable price and free breakfast. Just next block of Pantheon.

Was really happy with this place. Quiet rooms with good A/C and very nice beds, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast, great location.

Elegant Hotel in the centre of Rome. Excellent clientele. Very friendly and professional staff. The breakfast is a little underserved for a hotel of this level. Some rooms are really very small. Beautiful view from some windows.

Great rooms, breakfast and service, but the hotel is a bit of a maze and the lifts could do with replacing.

Room clean and wide enough for one person. Bathroom also clean. The room on the first floor suffers from many noises coming from the street below: very difficult to sleep at night and rest properly. Breakfast. Very courteous Service.

Beautiful structure in the heart of ancient Rome. Great base to get to know the Eternal City. The rooms are very clean Professional and competent staff, great breakfast. I would definitely recommend it to everyone, for both business and holiday stays!

GREAT location right near the Pantheon, and walking distance to the Colosseum and the Forum. Rooms are expected size for anything right in the heart of a city. A. C. Is there, and does the job, but not the best. Bathrooms are good but shower could use some improvements.

The ambiance is very elegant and quiet considering the clientele that includes many politicians due to its proximity to the Senate.
Great restaurants in the area and of course the Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

The hotel is very cozy, with great luxury. The hotel employees are always available even at later hours of the night. The rooms are just as luxurious as furniture even if the view is not as spectacular.
When I went, the 28-5/29/2012 I'm experiencing with my traveling companions a problem with cards for the opening of the rooms. We were on the 3rd floor and both the rooms booked have had problems with these "magnetic cards". Well I had to stay in my room all night by the light of the entrance on, because it will turn off only when the magnetic card works and is placed in an appropriate space, but ours didn't work.

The hotel Santa Chiara deserves attention for those who want to spend some days in the historical being that the hotel is just behind the Pantheon.

My wife and I stayed at the Santa Chiara for 2 nights in February, 2008. We arrived on a morning flight, and they were nice enough to allow us to check into our room early. Our room was newly renovated and very, very nice, up to date decor, furniture and fixtures. No more of the 70's decor that I have read comments about. Everything was luxury hotel quality. It looked like they were in the process of renovating all of the rooms. We walked to everything we did in Rome — St. Peters and The Vatican, The Forum and Coliseum, The Borgessi Museum, The Spanish Steps, etc. We highly recommend this hotel.
