Very nice people, very small hotel with personalized attention. Rooms are old, quaint and clean.

Looks like a nice hotel for next time I’m in town.

Beautiful design, but very poor service (air conditioning broken, no room service or menu, no cleaning/towel and soaps replacement on Sundays, airport pick up turned up late…).
The staff is super nice and it is the best location for a weekend in Rome.
But the price / service value isn’t the one of a 5 stars hotel so it is difficult to recommend it.

Absolutely loved this boutique hotel in Rome. Perfect location. Great staff and very helpful. Rooms are large enough, with interesting decor and furnishings. Only 2 rooms per each floor, with only 5 total floors in this charming renovated building. Walking distance to all major attractions and historic sites. Would gladly return.

A real gem in Rome. Such a charming hotel fully designed with extremely good taste, including the smallest details. Service was outstanding as well. Highly recommend.

The location was amazing and the apartment itself was so nice and felt very homey. I loved it and the employees were very helpful!

Beautiful hotel! Prior to converting this former residential building to a hotel, the owner invited friends to a demolition party that turned into an art installation of sorts. The walls were stripped of centuries of paint and paper, leaving them raw and bare, and party members made their own marks, some of which remain to date. When we first walked into the hotel, which is squeezed in between other buildings and difficult to spot amid the maze of tiny cobblestone streets, we stumbled into a tasteful lounge flanked by a beautiful bar. We were immediately greeted by the hotel manager, who personally welcomes every single guest and tells them the genesis story of the hotel. Complimentary campari spritzes magically materialized. Our room was tastefully designed to the last detail, with the TV thoughtfully camouflaged with fabric (we’ve always felt that TVs ruin interior design).

Wonderful bar with beautiful delectable bar snacks. Great staff. Incredible drinks. Super high end hotel with amazing rooms. Not cheap but worth every penny.

Guest House, not 5 star hotel as they say! After a cocktail in the bar (€15) I explain to the staff that I look for a room in the area (we are a few steps from Piazza Navona, excellent location) and tell me that they are a 5 star hotel (on the sign in fact there is the logo Design hotels and prices range from €400 to €2.000 per night). Luckily before paying I ask to see the room and I find from the label beside the door that I am a guest house! I decline the offer and continue the search for a hotel in compliance with the licenses.

G-Rough is a stunning hotel with super friendly staff and an elegant bar downstairs — plus it's just a couple minutes from the beautiful Piazza Navona! Perfect!

Excellent hotel. Top location for tourism/food/walking. Beautiful interiors. Incredible history to the building. This is just a truly unique hotel with a friendly, super helpful staff. I could go on for a long time about this place and how much I like it, but I'll just say it's our favorite place to stay in Rome and each time we've stayed has been better than the last.

A level aperitif in a cool and fashionable place. Strange to find in Rome a local so trendy. Staff very helpful and up to par, good cocktails, tasty snacks and well presented.

Situated in a beautiful location in close proximity to all the iconic monuments, G-Rough is a perfect choice for accommodation in Rome. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and themed by famous Italian designer, Gio Ponti. Apart from the location and room, the staff were very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about Rome. I would stay here again.

I can't get over this place! Staff was amazing — helpful, outgoing, and very welcoming. The location was perfect for our quick stop in Rome. Walkable to the areas we wanted to visit. Plenty of nearby options for food and drink. If you have the opportunity give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed.

Simply the best. Amazing staff. Amazing rooms. Wonderful breakfast. The whole experience is curated down to the last detail. All of Rome is within walking distance. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially spg members. Thanks for making my wife and I feel like we were at home.

If there were 6 stars we would give it! For us it was absolutely wonderful experience. The staff were phenomenal in giving us a home and a welcome feeling. Their service was personal and outstanding! This hotel is unique and very different. If you would like a small hotel, with a retro (sometime too retro) design, very clean, in a perfect location (3 minutes from Piazza Navona) and mainly — a warm and efficient service — this place is for you.

What a spectacular way to experience the true Roma! Gorgeous designer digs, friendly and helpful staff, great food, drinks and all in an awesome quiet location! Will definitely recommend this to all our friends and family. Thanks G-Rough for making our visit to the Eternal City a very memorable experience.

The staff was superb. The amenities and location was spectacular. We definitely are going to go back and stay there again. And normally we don't go back to the same place. Well done!

A unique and niche hotel in Rome. Beautiful stay.

Very cool place to stay in Rome in the center. Last night we had a cool event by Bumble App, nice people, nice food with chef, is nice to share food and talking into the "open kitchen" with the guests… and the suites are beautiful, artistic and classy.

The little bar serves 15€ cocktails. They don't taste good enough to command such a price.
