Spectacular! Here you go back in time… everything taken care of in detail, the décor fully reflects the soul of the Castle… the scenery is fantastic.

The place is definitely a special place to spend however no more than a night and a day! A charming castle where you can relax or spend a romantic day, the staff is courteous, we took a suite, in my opinion very nice if you like an ancient style.
Unfavorable points create the bathroom right attached to bed and without any kind of ventilation that constantly leaves a smell I would say not exceptional, and then the prices of the restaurant decidedly high for a falsely aristocratic cuisine!
We were also not able to take advantage of the drapery bath because they only make it available in the afternoon. Too bad it rained all afternoons!

Beautiful property, beautiful view. The rooms are all different and some are very small so it's best to choose it on site or ask for a big one. The rooms are modest but the staff are helpful.

Stunning 5-star hotel, unique atmosphere. Great breakfast and service location, two-level suite room comfortable and beautiful. Bathrooms leave a bit to be desired (furnishing a bit dated), but the set of bath products is really quality. The pool and hot tub are an added value to the castle, though it lacks an outdoor shower that would serve; I also highly recommend putting less chlorine to the water: it seems to bathe in bleach!

Everything was great especially since we had room 419. Our room had acess to the top of one of the castle towers.

Very nice castle, but poorly managed and with little staff, rooms full of dust, carpeting … In the room … I said it all… toilet that moved, the lifeguard who also was a bartender in the pool … arrived in the morning and escaped in the afternoon,

Stunning place — the castle itself is amazing with beautiful views and nice staff. The breakfast could be better and the shower seemed to have problem with the pressure, however the overall experience is unforgettable.

Magical place to stay! Beautiful medieval castle turned into a 5* hotel. Friendly staff, great views, nice garden and swimming pool. The rooms are rather 4-star, but staying at such a stunning place makes you forgive all those little details.

This place is great. The castle has been renovated in an excellent way. We had dinner for our wedding and we celebrated with a lunch our wedding anniversary. On both occasions everything was impeccable.
All inside are helpful and friendly. Spotless. Inside there is also a spa with swimming pool. Very impressive but we never tried it.
I have visited many castles in and around Rome and this is really the best. All the castle can be visited without any problems by you and your guests. You don't have to stay in a room as it happens in everyone else.

The Castello Orsini in Nerola is privately owned now then on Saturday, Sunday morning or during some festivities (in this case we went on Easter Monday) you can take a guided tour of ca. 1h paying 10 euros. On Saturdays with 10 euros more you can also make an aperitif, however on the site you will find all other initiatives. Obviously being a hotel you can decide to stay overnight, but I don't think the price is moderate.

Housed in the captain's room, a real dip in the past, the castle is beautiful the air you breathe is fantastic and magical.
The castle is visitable and full of opportunities to relax, LA. Sympathy courtesy and professionalism is indisputable as indisputable is the kitchen which is really at the top.
Great for a romantic getaway with spa pool and breathtaking views, magical for events such as weddings and high-style receptions.
I highly recommend at least once in a lifetime a visit.

Fantastic Castle. This beautiful, well-preserved manor is definitely worth a visit to Nero. The rooms are immersed in history. 10 beautifully furnished salons. Aperitif in the dungeon at €15. Recommended.

Really impressive place! Come quickly greeted by a fantastic and friendliest staff who will show you a place just as magnificent! Really nice experience, I hope to go back soon. I recommend it!

I was with a group and I was staying at 71 Euro per day full board in 301.
positive:
— Discreet food
— Common rooms and very nice environment
Negative
— Room with broken thermostat so, although it was cold outside, in the room you were sweating or you had to keep it off.
— Bathroom without bidet
— Shower without onion hold
— Confusing breakfast without understanding where to take hot milk which then was only lukewarm
— Bad coffee machine
— all prepackaged pastes and nothing hot baked
— Room with a advertised minibar but not present with only a box of Pringles and 1 of Peanuts and 2 flute glasses but without any drink
— Cleaning and rearrangement of the unscheduled daily room (although I paid 71 euros per night per person for a double)

5star restaurant, with a very nice staff.

Just great. A step away from Rome, in the peace of the Sabine hills. Great location for events.

The castle dates back to the year 1000 and the most imposing fortifications were by the Orsini family in 1235.
He did not have the military importance and there are few testimonies that place this castle in history, if not a series of successions regarding the ownership of the same.
The Hotel that is exercising in the structure today is of good standard.
I have not found it so dismal as some guests have stated: It is a Romanesque-medieval castle, massive and no frills and for this charming (the central hall, full of tapestries and armor is really a gem).
Ideal for a couple stay.

Location. Perched on the top of the city of Nerola allows a spectacular panoramic view of the central Apennines. Structure. The building was almost completely intact from its medieval origin and has historic halls and lounges with the addition of modern rooms. Place. Romanticissimo ideal for dream weekend.

What about, an incredible experience. You find yourself catapulted back a thousand years. You have the possibility to go around the castle through countless perfectly reconstructed environments. There are paintings and frescoes on the walls worthy of a museum, as well as the collection of Halberds and armors.
In a dominant position, you can enjoy a breathtaking view.
Very friendly staff and always ready to tell you anecdotes about the castle.

The place is def not a 5 star! Thrle restaurant is not even 2 star. Poor service and food.

Charming. The ideal place to spend a relaxing weekend immersed in an atmosphere of other times and a few kilometers from the capital. Each room is unique so different from the others. Wonderful some suites.

An excellent place, 5 stars well deserved, the castle is gorgeous the service of the perfect hotel. The price? That money would have paid them just to spend the day in the wonderful pool overlooking the valley and the castle! Excellent…

The place is amazing for a beautiful decent holiday.

Terrible. We had a 3 week stay here while working nearby. To start. The views are breathtaking and the hotel itself is captivating. It would make a great trip for one night, if not just to experience the grandeur of a staying in a castle. The problem is that this is a 3 star hotel with all the pretentiousness from staff that you'd expect of a 5 star hotel. There are 5 main issues, which finally ended in me losing my temper. Issue one: The lock broke. The key has 4 different sides. So you have to make an intuitive guess as to which way it goes in to unlock your door. Eventually, like rolling a dice you will get lucky. The lock broke after 4 days (they didn't fix this until I was moving out for one night to be replaced by another guest) Issue two: I was waiting for an important letter to be delivered. I Asked the staff each day for 3 days if it had arrived. They'd pause, tap around on the computer (I have no idea why, very little Britain) confer with each other and then finally say 'no sorry'. After the third day I went and peeped through the gap in the hotel post box and it was there. I told one of the managers walking near by. He said they'd bring it to my room… I had to go and collect it at reception after waiting for 3 hours. Issue three: I accidentally left two books and goggles by the sunbeds. I went and asked at reception if anyone had seen them. They said no. I didn't want to be patronising and suggest they look in lost property so I left it at that.

Room and Spa fairytale Castle.

A hotel and a fantastic Castle! Wonderful hospitality and a stay more than enjoyable.

We spent our honeymoon here. The castle and the surrounding village and countryside is breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms were nice although they were in keeping with the period atmosphere they were definitely not equipped with all modern comforts. All part of the experience. The plumbing was pretty period too. We had some battles with the shower. If there is a negative it would be that some of the staff made us feel we were in their way at times. Food was excellent. Try it. It is an unforgettable experience.

The Castle and the scenery are beautiful. The staff is friendly. The services are excellent. Some rooms are outside the Castle and when booking the management informs that the booked rooms are in buildings separated by the same, so if you book, make sure the camera location (you pay the same price). The presentation describes a charming atmosphere with live music and Fireworks. But it is not.

Although we only stayed one night we were overwhelmed.

Not quite a 5 star hotel. The bath room was frozen. The room was heated by two noisy heating radiators to keep necessarily turned on overnight. The SPA is very small and you have to take turns for entry. The landscape and the Castle are magnificent.
