Very small room. Lots of noise outside and you hear talking in the rooms next door.

I read some of the reviews before coming and I have to be honest, I was worried. But clearly, either previous reviewers have extremely high standards or the hotel has undergone some renovations. The hotel staff is charming, kind, and funny. My room is in a quiet hallway. My room is nice, the bed is comfortable, the shower is perfect sized. There's a mini-bar, there's room service. Everything is clean, up to date, and for an American standard, it is not only satisfactory but pleasant. I honestly will plan on booking here ahead of time. As others have said, keep in mind that you will have to pay for the shuttle (7 euros if at a normal time, 8 if not) that you need to book ahead of time. Which I am thrilled with — I have been disappointed with American free shuttles to airports in the past. This is more incentive.

Satisfied with its functionality in relation to departures and arrivals to and from Fiumicino.
Less about check ingering in: you can't wait until 2pm if the room is already available except in exchange for a surcharge when the one-night fare has already been paid.

If not for convenient location to airport, we will no longer stay here. The walls are hollow, kids running up and down all night. We asked the guest to please quiet down and he apologized stating they were having a family reunion. Room substandard, nothing exciting nor did we expect anything just a good night’s sleep before travelling for 10 hours in the morning. Somehow I was also double booked, interesting since we were checked in my our name and NOTHING was asked to us about a second room. Now they are trying to double charge us. BEWARE and make sure they only have one reservation for you if it is what you booked with them. I guess they need the extra money, however, we are disputing with our credit card and also have trip insurance as back up. Good luck!

We stayed here for 10 hours, just to shower, repack, and sleep a little before leaving Rome back to LA in the early morning. I would never willingly choose a Best Western, but it was close and what we needed. The staff was all very friendly and check in was easy. The lobby is nice, but the rooms are old and dingy. Not ventilated well, awful bathroom, you can barely fit in the shower and I am only 5'6. The bed was like a rock too. Anyway it has just a quick in and out, but if you need to stay longer, I say look elsewhere. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation, its 2018!

We stayed at the Best (worst) Western hotel Rome Airport in June. Despite having FULLY paid through Gala hotels they still took my husband’s credit card and charged him DOUBLE of what we had already paid! We went immediately back to reception and asked them WHY they had deducted the money and they said they would refund us in 5 working days. It’s more than a month since we returned home and they do not reply to emails and have not returned OUR money!
Disgusting. Will never recommend and will never stay here again.

Convenient support base for one night 5 minutes from the airport. Comfortable and clean room but a bit to get old. Functional bathroom. Very good restaurant abroad of the hotel where we ate a great Roman dinner. I divine the tiramisu. Great shuttle service to the airport.

Hassle free check in even though we arrived earlier than check in time. We left our luggage and headed out to Parco Leonardo shopping mall for last minute shopping and lunch. There is a taxi service available @ 20 euros per trip. Got back to the hotel in time for a swim in the pool to cool off. Had an option to go to one of the beaches to enjoy the sunset, but stayed in instead. Lots of dinner options close by if you don't want to eat in. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Nice friendly Staff. Bathroom and Rooms are modern, small, very clean. Pool area looks nice and shameful I didn't get to use pool area. Has a restaurant and wish I had time to enjoy and eat there as well. If I come back to Rome and will come back to enjoy all the amenities that's offered in this small motel.

Rooms were pretty nice. But shower is tiny. I'm size 8 and barely fit. There was a wide crack between our door in the wall, so it was very noisy. (Of course the hotel can't control inconsiderate guests . ) The rooms are in a separate building from everything.

Zoppinni in the tray of the mini bar and my t-shirt in the room when I left. I wrote to you as soon as I came in my home in Canada and they answer back to me that unfortunaly nothing was found. It tell me a lot about the cleaning staff. I am devastated and so sad because the bracelet add no money value but was precious because it was my daughther's that past at age 14 in 2008. And There is no way that it was not left in the room. Very sad …

It was a good room for the price. They were misleading with their "free continental breakfast". The website and brochure in our room implied it was free but apparently the room we had was excluded from that.

Many facilities and great facility with swimming pool, gym, restaurant and more. Bathroom a little small and breakfast not the maximum of the freshness of ingredients but good.

Too expensive for just one night. The small draught beer costs too much: 4 Euro 20 cl. The shuttle service to the airport is fee 7 euro instead of being free given the price paid for a room of 120 — 130 euros. The room and the bathroom are decent.

The room was the smallest room we had on our trip and we stayed in 4 different hotels. The bathroom was tiny. The shower gave me claustrophobia. Good luck shaving your legs ladies or even washing them unless you're a contortionist. The air conditioning doesn't really cool the room down. The people at the restaurant were slow and rude. The only bright side was that Roberta at the desk was very nice and friendly as we were checking out. Location was good. Very close to the airport.

Basic facilities. A little bit overpriced. Breakfast is not included. You can take shuttle from/to the airport for 6€.

Horrible experience. No AC in March. Temperature in room 80, and u can’t open the windows because of airplane noise. The claim they have Wi-Fi but I didn’t get any. After complaining and threatening with bad review, Alessandro changed my room. Still hot though. I was ready to sleep in airport but they wouldn’t refund my money. Never had a problem in all my life with any hotel, except this one.

Sound proof bad. The rooms are spacious clean but very noisy. The internal heating was not efficient. The restaurant is very good and the quality is not excellent.

Very good hotel very friendly enviorment. There are several restaurant around the corner less than 150 meters including a tobacoo/snack bar. Rooms are up to standard. Quite comfortable they have 2 computers in the reception gym and pools.

A nice place, I loved the pool, the truth the service is a bit expensive, as far as drinks are available in the room but overall all very well. I asked to be called as an alarm to go to the airport and they were very discreet and complimentary.

The bed surprisingly comfortable, I found myself well in all directions. The staff at the Hotel very courteous and I would give a rating of 5 + * for the shuttle bus drivers. Although too much of my stay was very short and in my package there was no breakfast included. Out of curiosity I peeked into the room where I saw an immense proposal between sweet and savory for breakfast, a truly inviting buffet. Next time I won't miss it. The territory where it is located is strategic but not particularly beautiful because it is in the area of a huge shopping area. In my opinion this hotel is fine for short stays as it was my own.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room looked like it was put together with super glue. Panels falling off the walls, the shower sprayed everywhere, getting the entire bathroom floor wet. Nothing in their guest services book was accurate (we tried ordering pizza that was in the room service booklet and they stated they didn't even have it). The door frames were peeling off. Mini fridge charges were outrageous. The restaurant was okay, nice staff. The automated system about when the shuttle bus was coming was not accurate either, causing us to sit and wait for an hour to get a ride from the airport to the hotel.

I have been to a baptism, everything in normality from the reception, to the presentation of the aperitif, to the room and to the food. There was nothing to be able to give advice to say try it. Maybe as hotel excels, but I don't know… Luckily the company of friends and it was outstanding. Nice evening.

Very close to the airport with a shuttle departing there every half hour. The hotel itself was nice, with a classy outdoor lounge area and a pool. The restaurant was quite good as well. However, our room was severely outdated and an anomally to the rest of what looked like a classy hotel. It seemed like the rooms across the hall with a nicer door and a small cement barrier blockading us would have been nicer.

Great hotel, staff very helpful and polite. Room was very modern and spacious. The room have hair dryer, kettle, TV, loads of towels and also had shower gel and soap. Unfortunately we didn't have milk but there is a super market nearby which has milk and I'm sure if asked reception they would have given us some … Would highly recommend.

Quite comfortable if you have to wait for your flight in Rome, accept pets with an additional charge.

Very close to the airport, initially I was afraid not to sleep cause continuous took off over the head but then between Soundproofing and a few offs I slept well. Very nice and renovated rooms (bathroom included). Price not inclusive of breakfast very advantageous, breakfast 5 euros more but it is worth it. Overall so great hotel with friendly, sunny and helpful staff. Recommended.

I had a problem in the shower and they sorted it out immediately.

We often return to the states from Rome, and have stayed the last night at this hotel for convenience. It's only a 10 minute ride on a shuttle to the airport, at a cost of 6 Euro. Although we often arrive the hotel late in the day and depart early in the morning, we've enjoyed our stays. This particular trip we ate dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious and the wait staff were outstanding.

You hear the noise of airplanes and do not rest and there are no places to eat/dine.

Better than you think. Good food. Rooms were nice. Wifi worked better than most hotels. Only issue was you could hear the planes. The shuttle they let you book costs 6E.

The location of the hotel is not far from fiumicino airport. Shuttle buses from the airport to the hotel are available at certain hours of the day. Their staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The food in the room service is available quickly and tastes pretty good. To find outside dining is not possible except for driving a car.

For the really low cost of the rooms, it is enforced as a 4 star, but the rooms are usually small and the view is on the road.

Great amenities mean you'll have all the comforts of home. The provided ear plugs come in handy as the flights go directly over. Service was slower than I would have liked but overall a good stay if you are flying out of Rome.

We stayed here the night before our flight back to the States. We both love planes so took lots of pictures of low lying aircraft landing nearby. The planes did not disturb our sleep. The staff was very professional and helpful. We arrived before check-in time so our luggage was stored. The clerk told us to walk down the street to see the lovely fishing village where local fishermen were cleaning their nets and the church was open. When we got back, the maintenance man quite cheerfully took our luggage to our room. We found the room very nice with a balcony, the firm bed very comfortable to my bad back and the bathroom had everything we needed. We could find only 1 TV station in English; the staff said the service had recently changed and they hadn't yet updated the in-room listing. I watched 4 HGTV shows in Italian. The breakfast was amazing with hot and cold items to satisfy every European or American taste. Shuttle to airport, costing 6E, is punctual and dependable. We definitely would stay here again.

Missed the flight from Rome to Budapest, ahatide airlines put us into the Best Western Hotel. Lobby and restaurant have a modern decoration. Room was very small, and we joked that the rooms and cruises than I do not know which is more limited. Rooms are clean, Wi-Fi, breakfast and dinner are good. Basically, we are all very happy to have a comfortable place to stay.

Clean and modern lines. The room did smell strong and annoying like cigarette. Staff very courteous, except a couple at the restaurant to which seemed to annoy. First course so-so, not bad fish, breakfast very good and filling.

Unfortunately, there is after 22:00 no pick-up more from the airport! The queue for the Taxis was yegn 100m long and the wait over an hour. There are also non-licensed taxi services with short waiting times, however, where you pay then for about 2 km drive überrissene 23 Euros! Oh Yes, Breakfast gives it only starting from 7:00 PM.

You can hear the television through the wall, the freeway, and the plane's flying overhead. The rooms have that cheap hotel feeling. You also have to call for a shuttle, there's no phone at the airport, and pay $6 perperson. Would not recommend.

We didn't plan on staying here, but was sent there after Alitalia booked us after missing a connecting flight. The staff is very professional, room was clean & the restaurant was very good. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was location, there was nothing close. No shops, & very few restaurants.

Great service, punctual, helpful and friendly from start to finish. The hotel has all the comfort and amenities you'd expect, and it's falling from the road, so that is reserved and quiet. Unlike what read in other reviews, they feel no more than 4 5 airplanes per day (July 2015) taking off from a very underused at the airport, all concentrated in times that cause minimal disruption (mid afternoon, and between 21 and 22:00).
My room was very quiet, completely new furnishings, decent size, big comfy bed. Big bathroom the right and which is also new, and curate, style. Room cleaning very accurate even in the smallest details. There is an excellent shuttle service (at right) which soon (5 10 minutes) takes you to the Exhibition Centre, airport, City Centre; There is total availability of schedules (but only from 6 to 22) and just book, better than a taxi (which in fact I never used). The breakfast has everything you could wish for, with too many cakes daily, and a maitre (Mr. Pierino) a unique and friendly staff ready to solve any need.
Definitely recommended!

Hotel is Ok but the restaurant I found was run private and a hot head idiot runs it. I had free breakfast with my room and after going down and eating by myself, then returning to the room, My wife asked me to go down and get her a cup of coffee which I did. After she got dressed she realised she had left her glasses the night before when we had dinner. We stopped by the restrauarant on the way to the car to try and locate her glasses. The breakfast manager went wild locked The door and was telling me I had been in two times and he was not letting me in. Not knowing Italian and he not knowing english I could not make him understand I was there not to eat but get my wife's glasses. A customer finally intervened and made him understand I was not there to take another roll but to get some glasses that were lost the night before. Needless to say I will not go back.

Truly excellent hotel throughout. Qualified and professional reception staff, clean and comfortable. International breakfast in care of Mr. Pierino, truly outstanding staff. Restaurant excellent, try to taste the bucatini alla matriciana very good. Pool very clean and well taken care of for you who want to relax is ideal. Thank you all.

Very close to the airport. Service is friendly and rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is very good and Pierino is very friendly and made us feel like if we were at home. We also loved the dinner. Our octopus was delicious as well as the wine, salad and desert. Shuttle to Rome, Civitaveccia and Airport are very convenient.
