This should be on everyone's Via Francigena stop list, although a little way from the main route. The welcome you receive is so personal it's like going to visit your own Nonna. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped, with a genuinely comfortable bed.
We had a view of Rome from our room, and it was certainly inspirational.
Nonna M will happily give advice about restaurants and can arrange lifts if needed.

This was probably the nicest place we stayed on our hike along the Via Francigena from Viterbo to Rome. The owner couldn't have been lovelier or more helpful. She offered to take us to local restaurants in her car. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean with a fabulous view of Rome in the distance and there was a great big bathroom. Breakfast was served by Nonna herself in a lovely kitchen/ diner. It was just like staying at your Grandma's house.
