Beautiful place, wonderful hosts, fabulous food, lovely pool … truly a heaven on earth.

We’ve had such a relaxing week at this beautiful place. The scenery is stunning and the Casale itself is just gorgeous. Spotlessly clean, It’s the best place that we’ve stayed in by far. Joe and Alana are brilliant hosts and have thought of everything that you need to make your stay perfect. The food here is so good, along with the wine, and we really didn’t want to leave. Thanks to both of you and everyone who helps make the Casale a special place. We’re looking forward to next year already. Xxx.

The most beautiful place set amongst mountains in the Italian countryside.
Surrounded by lavender, jasmine, rosemary and fig trees and of course spectacular olive grove! The food is delicious, rooms are spacious and clean, the views are breathtaking!
We will definitely come back again.

How beautiful the Casale & the area is, plus the hosts are so welcoming. The most relaxing place in the world!

Joe and Alana go above and beyond to make your stay special and memorable! We were greeted and made to feel at home instantly. The hotel it’s self if nestled away in the gorgeous Italian country side and the views are beyond stunning! After three busy days in Rome we retreated to Casale San Pietro. It was super easy to get to, just a direct train from Rome. Our room was everything we could ask for, beautiful bathroom, balcony that over looked the olive and wine fields. AC i…n the room as well as a fully stocked fridge! There is always a bar area available too around the hotel! Classic home made Italian dishes were served everyday, all the food served is fresh and organic! Breakfast is always varied and refreshing! Olive oil and bread is always available in abundance — the freshly made olive oil is a treat! The pool and relaxing area is the perfect place to unwind and sip some wine! We also had a massage which I would HIGHLY recommend! 10/10 for this place, it’s an absolute gem hidden away in the Italian country side! There’s lots to do around the surround areas and your hosts will happily plan a day out! See you both next year!

We have just returned from the most wonderful 2 week holiday at Casale San Pietro. Alana and Joe (and not forgetting Sarina) are the most fabulous hosts and nothing is too much trouble. They work extremely hard and deserve every moment of their success. We travelled as a couple and were joined by our adult children for the second week. This had been arranged by my husband and Alana as a surprise for my birthday and had been in planning for 12 months prior. I had birthday cake and Buck’s Fizz arranged by Alana and Joe on my birthday. My daughters partner also had his birthday whilst we were there and was also treated to a cake. The lunches and dinners are made by the team of lovely Italian ladies who work at the Casale. Everything is made on the premises and was fresh, tasty and truly Italian. The home-made pasta was amazing! My daughter is vegan and this was catered for with ease. She said it was the best food and variety she had ever had away from home. We were directed to all the best places to visit around the Casale and Joe offers a taxi service to visit these if you don’t want to hire a car. The local towns are so quaint, picturesque and full of history which Joe is happy to share with you. We also took advantage of Joe’s personal tour of Rome which is a must if you haven’t been before. If you want the real Italy with a personal touch, this is the place for you! We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back!

I’ve just spent the most perfect 5-day spa retreat at Casale San Pietro and words cannot describe how perfect it was. To echo everyone else’s comments, Joe and Alana really are the most wonderful hosts. They can’t do enough for you and have mastered the art of knowing when to check if you need anything and when to leave you alone to relax. They make you feel instantly at home and greet you like old friends – which is what I now feel they are after spending such a short time …in their company. The Casale itself is idyllic and is decorated and furnished to an incredibly high standard. The bedrooms, communal areas and outdoor spaces are just stunning. Everything has been chosen with such care and attention to detail and there are special touches which make it complete. You don’t feel as if you’re in a hotel, but a home. The food is cooked fresh every day, and my mouth is watering thinking back to the silkiest pastas, the tenderest meats, the freshest salads, the softest home-made bread, and the olive oil I tasted. If you don’t fall in love with the olive oil produced from Alana and Joe’s olive grove, dump your clothes, and fill your suitcase with it to take home I’ll be surprised! I have never tasted anything like it, and everyone I was with oooh-d and ahhh-d the first time they tried it. The photos don’t even do the Casale justice, so when you see it in the ‘flesh’ you’ll be blown away by it, along with the beautiful Italian sights and smells.

What a wonderful hotel. As I write this we are sat on the terrace having breakfast in the sun. The hosts /owners are passionate about making your stay as pleasurable as possible. Set in acres of olive groves the experience can be as quiet or busy as you wish. The food… Well what can I say about the food… Its authentic Italian cooked by authentic Italian staff. I could go on and on but couldn't do it justice. I would say, just go and have a fantastic holiday. Dave&Helen.

A charming place immersed in the countryside of Anagni (FR)

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful place. A stunning setting with great attention to detail in everything that Alana and Joe do. We spent a week at the Casale with our two children and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Alana and Joe were very welcoming and made us all feel at home as soon as we stepped out of the car, the children pottered around the Casale exploring and 'helping' Joe with his daily chores, and we all just completely relaxed and enjoyed the luxury around us. The food and wine was outstanding, so much so that we hardly ever left the place! Thank you Joe, Alana and all of your lovely staff — you have created something very special and we will definitely be back.

So here I am on a cookery course at Casale San Pietro. Did it meet my expectations? No, it totally and utterly exceeded them. Our hosts Joe and Alana made us all feel extremely welcome. We have cooked delicious Italian food in a relaxed environment, where we have then gone on to eat the fruits of our labour under the Italian sun, with stunning views and the odd glass or 2 of prosecco. The rooms are luxurious and every detail accounted for. Thank you Joe and Alana for a wonderful weekend.
