Stayed there 1 night while catching an early flight the next morning. Took the metro from Monastiraki station to Campino stop and walked to the hotel. Not too far even with luggage. The staff was friendly, the rooms and bathrooms were clean. They provided a shuttle to the airport. Yes, the runway is just outside your room, but we couldn't hear the planes while asleep.

Lovely, clean hotel. Friendly helpful staff. We had a family room which was massive! Huge comfortable beds. Rooms & toilet very clean. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was simple but nice. It is near the airport but far from the center of Rome.

A very good, comfortable and nice place to stay at. But the best was the staff. Very proffetional but at the same time soooooo openhearted and kind and little goofy. I do miss them… But I hope I will meet them next year again ❤.

It is not easy to rate this hotel. I've stayed here twice. The best part of this hotel is that it is close to Ciampino Airport. If you have an early flight, this is a great place to stay. They have shuttles in the morning to the airport. The hotel is comfortable enough and the staff is friendly. It is very basic. They also have a lovely pool.

Dirty Smelly and quite old. The reception was helpful and polite to help me call a taxi. They called one of theirs that help with the transports and it took me 20euro for a 5mins ride without any receipt. I told him I am not paying and I will call the cops and he asked sorry and let me go for 10euro.

For four years I come here when I come to Rome to find my daughter. It is very convenient for my travels both on Rome and in my other goals. Lazio. It is not fancy but practical and the rooms up spacious, kept clean and there is no air conditioning.
Very nice the pool where it is pleasant to spend half an hour after breakfast or in the late afternoon before going out.

Basic hotel but does the job. Close to airport. Clean but dated, you can see it was a top of the range place in the 1970s but probably hasn't had much modernisation since! Small bathroom, no bath, only a small shower. TV with some Italian channels and decent Wi-Fi. Don't leave food or drinks open in the room, it is prone to attract ants due to the warm climate. There is a fridge in the room. Very close to the airport (you can see the runway from the rooms) but there is no direct route from the airport to the hotel — you have to get a cab which will be around €20 and take approx 15 minutes as you need to travel all the way round to get to the hotel. You can also catch a train into Ciampino station from the airport. The train station is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and from there you can get a train to Roma Termini (central station) every 10 minutes for around €1.50 — these trains run all day and the trip takes around 10 minutes. 24 hour reception with very helpful staff who will be happy to give directions, maps etc. Great budget hotel option with easy transport links if you want to avoid the price tag of hotels in the centre and don't mind travelling. Ciampino itself is a small town, about 10km from Rome centre. There are several bars and pubs, coffee shops etc but it's by no means a busy nightlife sort of place. Most of the bars are closed by 10pm.

Clean, comfortable and economical. The planes of the nearby airport make everything tremble in landing and takeoff but at 23, 30 the traffic stops and the silence arrives.

Unfortunately very noisy.
Rooms have simple standard.
Train and airplane are too close to the window.
Towels such as table cloths.
When it rains, you even hear the drain pipe.

Plane canceled, we spent two nights in the snow. The rooms are good but no electrical outlet at the bed level. A double bed is two simple glued mattresses, which makes a lot of difference if you move a little… And it is not very well located in the end if you make the journey on foot! Plus Point: They have a personal shuttle that takes you to the airport for 5euro (yes expensive, but convenient early in the morning and/or when the weather is bad — since the bus that goes to the airport is a 15mins on foot, and not very punctual it looks)

Best value for money to stay in Ciampino. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. They have all the basic amenities, and a mini bar available. At the reception a vending machine allows all hours to buy food and drinks as well as coffee and tobacco. They offer a shuttle service to the airport of Ciampino to 5 euro per person. Taxis ask for 15/20 euros so those who travel alone or as a couple save safe. Around the hotel there are restaurants and pubs with modest prices and with a great quality. Recommended.

Convenient for you to take advantage of the nearby airport. Shuttle service (fee, but nothing exaggerated) to be able to reach the airport. The staff were very helpful.

Liked the hotel for the decent rooms and proximity to the airport. Didn't like the fact that they have no dining facilities, no kitchen, no microwaves and they charge heavily for any help like prints or airport drop.

Quiet Hotel, very bright and nice room with a desk with comfortable chair and a large mirror. Wardrobe, refrigerator, TV and air conditioner. The room was very quiet, the bed comfortable. Clean bathroom with hairdryer, disposable showergel, soaps, 3 types of large, medium and small towels. The shower is not adjustable in height. I did not try the buffet breakfast and the bar. The parking is in front of the entrance. Recommended.

Ok for the price you pay, a restaurant in the hotel and another one at 2 mins from hotel+ pub, nice supermarket at 10 mins walk and train station is at 15 mins or less from the hotel. You can take train to Rome Ciampino for 6 euros return ticket. In the rooms you got air conditioning, tv, fridge. Room it's getting clean and tidy everyday. Staff are nice.

Not good the attention of the reception staff half well the other half bad vibe.

Poor Hotel, many mosquitoes, uncomfortable mattresses and pillows, antique furniture, TV and old conditioners, decent breakfast. Only positive thing clean linen.

Useless restaurant, noisy area because of the airport and dogs that constantly kept on barking. Poor Wifi, but good location, you can access every other place from the hotel and the staff are quite friendly apart from one at the front desk who appeared to be a stuck up and rude.

A decent hotel with a shuttle that goes to the airport. Small rooms but with air conditioning. Only problem was a lack of restaurant variety in the surrounding area.

Single beds in place of the double that come off, a nightmare. Poor mattresses, service of the necessaire, in poor bathroom and get out. I wouldn't recommend it not and a hotel looks like a youth hostel.

Rooms were okay, smelled liked smoke though because the smoke room was right next to it.

Clean room, uncomfortable bed, great pool and picnic area, thin walls. If you are in the pool, the train runs on the other side of the fence followed by the airport runway, so it is noisy. They offer breakfast at €6 per person, but all it is is cereal, and sweet pastries. Friendly and helpful front staff, offered great customer service. Walking distance to cafes, grocery store (open 24 hours), pizzerias, and train to Rome Termini (20 minute walk to Ciampino train station). Would stay here again.

Location is good to rome and close to a train station. It is a bit loud but it is bearable, you can hear the air planes turbulence starting from the airport. The rooms are clean and ok to stay in. The pool outside is a nice place to stay and relax. It is just weird to see an old TV with the massive box at the back. Not many people in the hotel so it is nice and quiet.

We used the hotel to stay overnight for a flight out of Ciampino Airport. For that reason, it was perfect. Clean room, hot shower, and restaurant was open until 10:30pm with the bar open even later (sorry, can't remember the exact time). If you need a room for the same reason, I would highly recommend this hotel as it is very close to the Ciampino Bus stop, though we took the wrong way to walk there so it was a bit unnerving.

Going to catch a morning flight at Ciampino this is a perfect choice. Airport shuttle € 5 (2015). The evening before one can enjoy the swimming pool & in-house restaurant with very friendly staff. Well recommended! I miss signs from the railway station to the hotel. One can not walk from the hotel to the airport (Ciampino) due to lack of pavement. Use the Airport shuttle.

We stayed one night for a concert at orion. Good rooms, good soundproof despite the proximity to the airport. Good air conditioning and clean the bathroom. Overall a good 3 star hotel.

The Ciampino Hotel is located a few kilometers from the airport of Ciampino, but unfortunately not within walking distance, but only by car, taxi (about 20-25 €) or by bus ATRAL, getting off at the petrol station on Kennedy Boulevard (1, 20 €). The structure is quite basic, the rooms are clean but a bit bare and noisy, not so much for planes (it is normal given the proximity to the airport, its strength), but because the rooms are not soundproof and often feel having other guests with trolley and conversations of the neighbouring rooms. The staff was friendly and very polite. For the money and to stay one night before/after a flight is ideal.

Ciampino Hotel is a good place, it is near the airport and easy to find. The room is clean and confortable, the best place to stay when you fly from Ciampino airport.

Decent hotel adjacent to the airport of Ciampino. Great prices. Good service, average rooms. The proximity to the airport and the railroad did not make quite the undisturbed. Good breakfast, at a slightly higher price.

Clean hotel staff kindness and courtesy.

Very useful and very close if you need to go see a concert at Orion. Beautiful and relaxing the pool available. Only minus the noise of aircraft taking off and landing a few meters away.

Hotel is very old, no sound isolation, 7 meter from track of trains and at the departure and landing stroke of the airport, it is impossible to sleep since the sound is very strong from the trains and leaving airplanes and arriving airplanes, the closest I have been to an airplane which is on the runway for landing and departing.

Nice hotel to stay for one night. From the airport you can walk and walk for 30 minutes. And there is a pool.

Nice hotel in the suburbs of Rome. 500 meters to the commuter train, 40 minute drive and you are in the centre of Rome. The hotel is minimalist in all respects, including price. But often and accurately.
